There is also an excellent selection of ready-to-heat meals, such as pizzas and soups and Indian foods. And some stuff that needs preparation, like salmon and chicken breasts and minced beef. Unlike Tesco! For a smallish store it certainly has plenty of choice. I've never been unable to find what I want/need or a suitable alternative and whilst it might be classed as a convenience store you don't pay conveinience store prices as its part of a big group. Their membership (loyalty) scheme is one of the best and can be paid straight into your bank account or you can opt for vouchers, or donate some or all of your 'Share of the profits' to community projects. No messing about with points or prizes! I love the fact they were the first to promote Fairtrade and support green issues long before their rivals or before it became trendy. As a 'Member' you also get a real say on how the Co-op is run. The store also has an off licence, lottery machine, pay point, sells newspapers etc. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about what they sell. A real asset in the community!
