Odd little store that lacks the fresh ingredients that are required in Asian cooking. The staff is very pleasant/accommodating, and the selection of non-perishable ingredients isn't bad, but not what I'm used to coming from SoCal. read more

What a wonderful store! I can by my Thai, Filipino, Korean, Chinese, Lao and Vietnamese products all in one store!!!! Fresh vegetables/herbs, great selection of noodles, sauces, spices and frozen items like pot stickers, steam buns, fish and meats etc. The owner and staff are very friendly and are always helpful when you want to try something new. It also helps that they're the prettiest women in the L-Valley too : ) Hee hee. read more

So glad this market is under new ownership! The old name was New Thai Market, the new owner's changed it to Lompoc International Market and they have really revived this place by "out with the old and in with the new"! They really did an awesome job by replacing everything and i mean everything! I can shop there with confident knowing that the inventory is new, i was also informed by the owner's that they get fresh produce every Friday! They are very freindly and do their best to help you in getting what you need. They have informed me that they will be adding a deli soon and i can't wait to see what kind of food they will be offering...so excited! read more

Little gem. This place was so orderly and had a little of everything!! Just moved here from the Bay Area and felt so relieved to have a place in Lompoc that I can get all these flavors for Asian fusion cooking. The refrigerated produce is very fresh and they keep that place very clean. The nice clerk lady was very friendly and even answered my questions w some great cooking tips. Pricey...! Sometimes I don't I have a choice but to come here and check what they have such as fresh veggies, stuff that you cannot get at the other stores and end up paying $$. They will not put away the veggies that are already rotten, molds everywhere, things that I will not spend my money on. It is up to you to buy it or give it a big sigh. I went here to scope it out because I'm moving from San Diego to the Lompoc area and am already a bit panicky at leaving my beloved Ranch 99. I need fresh fish and was hoping to find it here. No fresh fish, but they had a good selection of dried and canned goods, and a ton of sauces and bases for Vietnamese cooking and Asian cooking in general. Plus they had some fresh noodle and some frozen meats (including some fish) and a small produce section. I'm hopeful that by going there often and requesting items I want they will start to stock more things. The store owner and cashier looked very puzzled to have a white girl studying their shelves, but I'm sure they will get to know me in time. read more

I'm pretty sure that this is called New Thai Market these days (and is listed under that name in a different Yelp location). Wow! I have to say that I was surprised (and delighted) to find this market in Lompoc. It really is a gem in the area! The selection here is really great and the owner is very helpful. Contrary to what the other reviewer said, I haven't seen old or rotten produce here before. I'm definitely coming back the next time I'm in town! read more

The market has a good selection of oriental products. They are on a pricey side but considering where we are at, it's understandable. They do need to check the expiration date on their stuff because I bought something that was expired 3 years ago! I went back for an exchange but all of them were expired! The lady did gave me a refund. The people that work there are pretty nice. read more

YESS 5 stars As good as it gets for Lompoc! I needed Monamon Bagoong for my mom. I work here and is just great I can come stop by for Asian Filipino ingredients. Fresh veggies, frozen, grocery items. New Owner, clean, and new much better layout since Jan '18. Looks so much better than it did. I had only visited once last year or so. No need to make special trip to Sta Maria Asian markets for my needs when I can get them here. This is a gem in Lompoc to get your hard to find ingredients for your Asian recipes! read more

The owners wouldn't give my mom her money ($3) back for a product she tried to cook, despite no expiration date on the package. The food was sour and not edible. The man yelled at her in front of other customers that she didn't know how to cook (which it was something she's been cooking my whole life, over 30 years). He said if the food was expired he would take it off the shelf (even though expiration dates are not on all the products, so I don't know how they would be sure). He said his policy was not to refund someone if they opened the product and all grocery stores do it. Which, every time I've had opened products that were not good, every grocery place has given me money back AND apologized. His policy was not posted anywhere. Overall bad experience, I will never buy from them again, very disappointed in the way the owner handled the situation. read more

Looked two other places for fine hot pepper powder for spicy Korean stew and finally found it here! Also picked up some black tapioca pearls. There were so many kinds of packaged Ramen that look delicious, and every kind of paste and powder you can think of. The cashier was so friendly, she double checked on a price to make sure she didn't over charge me. They're cheaper than Amazon too! read more

This place is phenominal... you can easily buy some Asian things in any grocery store, but it isnt the same as an authentic Asian Market. The pepople are great & very helpful when it comes to recipies & ideas. They have everything you could need for your Asian style cooking @ home & also a wide variety of produce.
