    Awesome honey stick selection!

I really like this candy shop! My spouse introduced me to this place and I fell in love as soon as I saw the box. I immediately had to go myself and saw all my favorite treats!

Seating: The space is not big enough to host people but there's a table or two for pairs right outside. Vibes: Welcome to Mid-Govans, Baltimore! It's a grit and grind area but definitely a nice local residential spot - a diverse area with some nice local gems. Jinji's shop is pretty nice - small intimate but vibrant! I dig the neo-soul music playing and the see through window so you get a glimpse behind the scenes. FOOD/DRINKS: Date Poppers (Recommend) Dates filled with cacao nibs, honey, sea salt, and dark chocolate. I enjoyed the natural sweetness and the chew texture of the dates. Teh cacao nibs gave a nice crunch with an earthy flavor. Peanut Butter Turkish Figs (Recommend) (3 per person) Figs stuffed with creamy peanut butter ganache and enrobed in rich dark chocolate. I can see why they limited this per person. Soft, chewy, and sweet figs with a nice caramel touch to it. The peanbut btter ganache was smooth and nutty and the dark chcolate helped bring some good balance. CUSTOMER SERVICE: I worked with Guy (father of Jinji). Great guy that was very professional and personable TL; DR OVERALL: 5 Stars. Ooooi! If you're looking for some elevated local chocolate, this is your spot. Yes it's a bit higher than your usual chocolate shop but that's what you pay for. When in Baltimore, do consider visiting this place. I wish Jinji and her business all the best. #SupportBlackOwnedBusinesses TIPS: * Ask about their limited-edition or seasonal bars -- they rotate in creative flavors and specialty pieces. * They got vegan options too!

Pros: The taste was amazing, especially the lemon cheesecake. They do a lot of business and have a lot of repeated customers. The neighborhood was in a better part of town. Cons: While the person that helped us was smiling, she really didn't give that welcoming and suggestive help. Their front doors are really small, so if you are a larger person, you will need to go in sideways. Selection was small. Overall it was okay but nothing I would go out of my way to return to.

Sadly, our server, Hope, I think, said the item had been taken off the menus despite many requests for it from patrons over time. While our other selections, crab cakes, salads, were very good we had been psyched for the now "86ed" chicken and waffles. The waitress recommended I reach out to Steve, as manager, to add the C&W on the menu, at least as a special occasionally. I would happily return to sample it, if this were to happen. Thanks. Good ambiance, pleasant staff.

The problem was the execution in the kitchen. Our flaming cheese appetizer was cool and firm, even after the flames subsided, steak was served medium rather than medium rare, as ordered, and the chicken & waffles entree consisted of a bowl of reheated pieces of fried chicken served over a half of a waffle. Not an appetizing presentation. In summary, I think the bar and wait staff were great, but the kitchen staff need some retraining.

We did a four course meal. I love the Quattro formagio cheese fondue - but I do wish it had a "tangier" or sharper cheese in there. Also loved that our server put it all together right in front of us. Only other negative was the salad had too much dressing but I won't even take off a star for that. For meat - we did an upgraded spread with lobster tail and filet, which was definitely worth it. Last we ended with the chocolate turtle fondue which came with a ton of cakes and fruits to dip. We also had a small issue that the manager, Chris, was able to resolve quickly and was much appreciated. Overall we had a great time, and even though it's a little pricey, so I'd recommend this for a more special evening, we will be back!

Our server, a recent Towson grad was personalble, informative and super awesome. We started with the alpine cheese fondue and it was rich, creamy and delightful. The topping choices were great and had a lot of variety. My favorites were the green apple and pretzels. Next we got the flaming turtle chocolate fondue. It was sweet and bold with lots of delicious dipping options. I really liked the brookie and rice crispy dippers. What was fantastic about this experience is that the server offered to bring you more of anything you really liked. I highly suggest doing the happy hour - it's so filling! I'll definitely bring doing this again!

The inside is small, with only one table with 4 chairs and 2 couches. No bathroom for customers so not the best place to hang out for awhile. A bit too quiet inside, music should be a bit louder. I like their food menu - didn't try it this time but lots of stuff to try. Very cute decor inside. Will be back.

I'm all about the chocolate drinks and was delighted to see that they offer a "superior milk chocolate" option. I order my drinks at 50% sweet and my drink was delicious. The perfect balance of decadence while at the same time never wandering close to the "too sweet" category. The boba was also chewy and excellent. The other people I ordered drinks for were delighted with theirs as well. We liked them so much we were ordering from them the very next day. I was also impressed with the variety of food items on their menu. They've got a wide variety including steam buns, sticky rice, cakes, and swiss rolls. I want to stress that I did not try any food items but I will absolutely be doing so during my next visit to the area. Even if I ended up not liking any of them I would still happily return for more milk tea.
