Breakfast burritos for the shop has been going on for some time now, but since we started coming in prior to most of the other stores opening I gave Lola's a shot.... We found this place on Yelp traveling to California and it was a diamond!! We ordered the heuvos Mexicana and the California burrito, both dishes were fast, good portions and we're very savoury! Great find! We travel through Barstow a lot and got tired of the craziness at the In N Out offramp, so I checked out Yelp. they claim to have the BEST MEXiCAN food in Barstow. well, i have to agree with them completely. i haven't met a single person in barstow who does not like this place. i know i've been ravying about del taco but this place is now officially my FAV place in the desert. so if i ever have an uye in barstow, it will be at lola's. (yes, i hate to admit but this place is waaaaaaaaaay better than my good ole' DEL TACO) it's a small family owned resturant. it opens at 4am (for railroad workers) and closes around 10pm. it's open from mon through sat and closes on sunday. there are about 10 small chairs and tables for dine-in customers (room capacity: 28 people). the restaurant is very clean and well-lit. the ladies who work there are extremely friendly and helpful. EVERYTHING is good. fresh chips and homemade salsa...rice and beans... are to die for. my students voted their green enchilada as their favorite. i like their carnitas (oink oink.. pork) TO MY DEAR VEGAS GOING YELPERs: i know a lot of people make a stop at barstow station on their way to vegas. next time you are ever in town, go to LOLA's!!! you won't be disappointed. read more

Not the greatest of places food wise but you can't expect much in the middle of nowhere. The ladies were very polite when taking my order and served quickly. I ordered huevos rancheros and it looked unrecognizable. The eggs were bland and the beans and rice tasted outdated. I would love to give more stars especially for the great hospitality. read more

This is the first time i've eaten there. I had the carne asada burrito and chicken soft taco. The tortillas tasted homemade, the chicken was in a green sauce. Very good flavor for both the burrito and taco. All the ingredients tasted fresh. It was about 7 dollars for the burrito and taco. Served with a side of fresh chips and salsa. Came here when returning home from Vegas. I got the beef enchiladas, boyfriend got a chile relleno and (something else???). I really loved the chips and salsa. My food was ok. Not bad at all, just not great, I thought a bit bland. However, BF really enjoyed his. The place is very cute, very clean, the staff was pleasant and efficient. Let me add my five-star rating to the others. Very impressed with the food! We walked in and were greeted by a woman who brought menus and chips and salsa, and invited us to order at the counter when we were ready. I ordered, and enjoyed, the #2 dinner: chicken enchiladas with verde salsa, beans and rice. I only wish that we weren't passing though, and could enjoy Lola's more often. My wife had an excellent chorizo sope. Every area of the building was spotlessly clean; even the mens' room. Food arrived at our table quickly, when we were still enjoying the chips and salsa. Every time an employee passed our table, she removed any dirty plates. By the time we left, at about 12:45, not a table was unoccupied, and a few orders went out the door. Despite being surrounded by sketchy businesses, like a pawn shop, dollar store and a vehicle-loan business, Lola's really stood out as a shining star.
