I went here with some friends and had an amazing experience. The ambience and beauty of this estate was amazing. Everything is first class from the moment you are warmly greeted by the wine expert. Every detail is overseen with a sense of pride from the displays and amazing views throughout the venue and balcony. This is truly on a mountain top which specializes in mountain fruit wine. The wine is amazing from all four mountain tops. This is a must experience for any serious wine connoisseur.

This is a stunning winery way up a winding road in Spring Mountain and extremely exclusive. You need a gate code to enter and upon arrival it's jaw dropping beautiful with expansive views of the valley below. The wines are another level. We had an unforgettable tasting with Johnna and the food pairing that went with it was impeccably curated and delicious. All the wines were exceptional. We had a hard time picking a favorite! Their wines are all highly allocated from single vineyard prized mountaintop appellations. We bought some wine to lay down for years to come and can't wait to open them and relive our Lokoya experience. We are already looking forward to our next visit here at this hidden paradise in Napa. Thank you again for a truly memorable experience.

While working in St. Helena, I could never find an opening in a reservation, so here was a great opportunity now that all of us are retired. Our friends live in Clear Lake while we live in Vallejo, so this is a central place to meet. It was the best decision I made because every year for the past several anniversaries, we've gone to Cache Creek to C2. Their food and service is excellent because my husband enjoys poker, but I thought a change of scenery would be nice. And it was! Firstly, it was very kind of the staff to present us with a greeting card signed by everyone -- how sweet and thoughtful! We will cherish that! Secondly, we were very impressed with how the food/wine was locally sourced. It was incredible to hear the story about Custom, the Bull, and taste the difference between the Highland beef compared to Angus. Our waitress was "Erica S." She was engaging, personable, and very informative. My husband and I would definitely like to return to return to experience the dinner menu! We and our guests had the following dishes: Artichoke appetizer Arbororio Biscuits & Gravy Two Cheeseburgers Three Bloody Mary's Farmstead Margarita When they found out it was our anniversary celebration, the house sent over four glasses of complimentary champagne and a dish of dessert -- again, very sweet and kind of them I now understand why so many crowds flock to this restaurant! It's well worth the wait! If you have not experienced a meal there, you must definitely go now!

From the beginning, there seemed to be constant miscommunication between staff. We specifically booked an outdoor reservation and were seated inside instead. While mistakes happen, it set the tone for the rest of the evening. The bigger issue involved the wine and corkage fee. We purchased a bottle directly from the market associated with the restaurant and were told by the employee there that the corkage fee would be waived if we bought their wine. When we sat down, our server Sara told us that was not true and that we would still have to pay the fee. I explained what we had been told, and when she asked if I wanted a manager involved, I said yes. Before the manager even arrived or clarified the situation, the server opened our bottle of wine. In the silence and confusion, I reasonably assumed the fee issue had been resolved. Then the manager came over and told us we would still be charged and implied that nobody at the market would have told us otherwise. The way it was handled made my husband and I feel like we were being accused of making the whole thing up, which was especially upsetting on Mother's Day. At that point, the bottle was already opened, so we were essentially stuck paying the fee regardless. Between being seated incorrectly, the poor communication between employees, and how dismissive the situation felt, the service completely overshadowed what should have been a special meal. The rest of the service we felt ignored and there was minimal effort to accommodate. Great food alone is not enough to justify returning when the hospitality experience feels this frustrating and unprofessional.

Our host, Krista, was so knowledgeable, open to repeat/answer any questions, and is so good at holding conversations! I felt so enlightened and energized because of her absolute good vibes. Krista ended up showing us a variety of different wines, but the most notable wine was the very beginning. My friends and I were limited in our wine knowledge and he admitted that he felt like all wine tastes the same. However, once we took our very first sip, the fruity, buttery notes completely changed our minds. She sets the image about drinking this near a pool and I immediately would get transported to her explanations. It was giving "Remy" from "Ratatouille" moment when you close your eyes and see/feel all the different imagery. Throughout the tour, we are educated on the fact that they have two different addresses because they are at the border of both Sonoma County and Napa! Literally best of both worlds! Afterwards, we tried multiple different wines in their caves and educated on the different notes, how to hold our wine glasses, and the importance of everything. Before this experience, I was completely unaware of what to look for, but now I feel like I have a better understanding of everything. Certain notes I didn't even expect like the peppery taste in one of the wines. It was so cool knowing that these type of caves and winery exists and I feel like our host, Krista, made our experience even BETTER. Thank you Krista for showing us around. This was completely unforgettable and I WILL BE coming again!

Wine: Really enjoyed the wine. Focuses on Bordeaux varietals. This is definitely a fruit forward, new world style, but it's not at all jammy. Almost everything is estate grown. Service: This really made our experience. Brittney was our host and she was warm, very knowledgeable, and generous. It really feels like the people here love working here which is very different from a lot of other Napa/Sonoma tasting experiences. This is a really popular winery so it does feel a bit commercial (as a guest, you are kind of on a time limit) but this place really blends the best of corporate efficiency + family run business/down to earth people. Highly recommend.

You could tell he genuinely enjoys what he does, and he kept the tour interesting the entire time. The castle itself is stunning and the whole experience felt really unique. The wine tastings were all delicious and added a lot to the visit. The only downside was unfortunately someone in our tour group. One woman made sure everyone knew she was a member and kept mentioning how she had already seen the castle too many times and was bored of it, saying she only came to bring her family for a birthday. It kind of disrupted the experience for the rest of us. When we got to the torture chamber she also started making some really inappropriate remarks, which was a bit uncomfortable for the group. Aside from that situation, we still had a great time and really enjoyed the tour and tastings. Overall it was a memorable experience and definitely worth visiting if you're in Napa. 5 stars for Eli!!

Quite a unique store. So many items have gemstones! I chose one of many types of VitaJuwel vial wands that fits inside a specially-designed water decanter. The vial charges your water with the gems' qualities to enhance your wellness. The vials are hand-blown glass by artisans from Bohemia. Each vial has different qualities depending on the gems inside. There are 12 sets of gemstones. For instance, the Forever Young vial for the decanter includes green aventurine, blue aquamarine, brown smoky quartz, and clear quartz for qualities including detoxification, cleansing, stress relief, and serenity. There are also gem-infused candles. The soap or hand sanitizer dispensers and glass water bottles also contain gemstones. The gemstone lamps are a must-see--I saw one of purple, green, and white fluorite. The magick book I purchased there by local Tenae Stewart is an interesting page-turner. I also got a beautiful stone plate that was actually carved around an ancient ammonite. The spiritual qualities of these fossils include circulating energy to relive trauma, enhancing stability, deepening meditation, and balancing the body, mind, and spirit. They're from the Cretaceous period estimated around 146-66 million years ago. There's a sitting area with beautiful, large windows to let in natural light and standing bar for wine tastings. I described the type of wines I enjoy and Carly chose the amazing 2019 Picayune Padlock--a Napa Bordeaux Blend wine of 51% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Merlot, and 18% Cabernet Franc. It was absolutely exquisite. Its nose is blackberries, chocolate, and autumn spices. The flavor is well-balanced with a lingering finish of blackberries, plums, and peppercorns. Very drinkable without food. Carly mentioned that this particular wine is even included on the menu at the prestigious French Laundry restaurant. I asked about the great stories are behind the key logo and the name Picayune.

Romeo holds a special place in our hearts because we visited them a little over seven years ago. During that experience (which you can read about in my previous review - if interested), my wife and I had a grand experience with former Business Manager Emma, who administered the delicious tastings. Fast forward to the present, we looked forward to enjoying a glass of their finest red before finding lunch. Upon entering the walkway, we were enthusiastically greeted by an employee named John who quickly ushered us to a vacant table for two. My wife had a slight reaction to the beautiful flowers that were in full bloom. Out of the kindness of his heart, John provided my wife with a bottle of Pure Leaf tea that calmed her allergies. We told John that we were interested in enjoying a glass of red, in which he quickly ran off and returned with a bottle of 2009 Eugenia Cabernet Sauvignon. Upon doing the swirl and sniff test (sounds dirty doesn't it?), I knew that we were in for a treat. Since we were both in dire need of a meal, we sadly could not continue the party. However, we will make a return visit in the near future to enjoy a full tasting experience!

Off the beaten path!…read more This is by far the most beautiful winery I've attended and seen thus far from all the Yelp Flight Club events teamed with CellarPass. It is a little bit hard to find and the road to this winery is long, narrow, and windy. First of all, wine tasting is by appointment only and parking is limited. The signs are not very big and obvious so you need to look carefully and follow the signs. Once you arrive at this vineyard, though, you will see why the drive was all worth it. The front of the winery displays an American flag. That should give you a hint of the theme of this family winery. The winery itself is literally a hidden gem away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We entered through the side and it led us to the patio. What an impressive setting with patriotic decor throughout and overlooking the vineyard and the lake. Sit and relax in the tasting room or out in the patio while enjoying sips of their Cabs and signature wines. During cold season guests can enjoy their wine by the warmth of fireplace. We sampled the Rose and Estate Cab. There is a specially designed bottle that was produced in honor of 9/11. Do ask one of the hosts, Donna or Tom, to enlighten you with the story of how it came to be. Whether you're enjoying their fine wine or a game of bocce ball on their bocce court visitors will surely find this family vineyard peaceful and inviting.
