I had a wonderful experience trying on dresses at LOHO bride, I went to 5-6 bridal boutiques in total in LA and LOHO was probably one of my favorites! Candice was was sales person and she was phenomenal, her passion for bridal fashion is infectious- she actually made me excited to try on gowns and really set the tone for all other bridal appointments I had elsewhere. I came very close to buying my dress from LOHO but sadly ended up finding 'the one' at another boutique. But it's definitely not for a lack of choices on LOHO's part, it's just where my bridal journey took me. If I ever get married again lol I will definitely get my next wedding gown at LOHO Bride, and I will be telling all future brides to make an appointment with them! The parking was pretty easy for me when I went, they have about 4-5 free parking spots available right outside the boutique so I would recommend carpooling if you're going with a group. read more

Buyer beware. My daughter's dress that she chose was perfect..who know we would be scrambling to redo the dress weeks before the wedding. In a nutshell: The measurements were not taken by a seamstress throughout the entire process but apparently by a sales girl, each time a different person so each time they fluctuated wildly. They were all over the place. They WAY over ordered her size dress, even when she was remeasured 2 months before pickup and was already her current size, a standard 8. What arrived was a 14 bottom with a 10 top..with the assurance that they always prefer to size up. One does not try on a dress but is rather cinched into an oversized dress(size 18 I believe) and made to understand how that will fit. The dress itself was a different fabric than the sample, something I mentioned 3 times when we picked the dress up. The fabric of the dress we bought was not as heavy, not as nice and frankly was cheaper fabric. The seamstress confirmed that they are two different fabrics based on the pictures we showed her for reference of how it should fit. A total unethical bait and switch. The dress that one picks up is apart from the store in a room with the dress hanging and wrinkled. Just shocking lack of detail and care for what we spent for this dress and the importance of this occasion. They could not even steam the dress out. Their seamstress had no time to amend the huge error as she was slammed. So the question of is there a seamstress is answered yes...just don't count on needing her and beware of picking the dress up too late as it will be a rush job for more money. There is a lack of continuity from a different sales assistant each time down to the measurements that were inaccurate down to the last measurement which had my daughters waist at a 27 when in actuality it is a 29(as measured by a seamstress that same day). The amount of stress, time and money to get a dress with a lesser fabric to look how it should was considerable. Go directly to the designer and forget about this broker type situation. If I could I would defiantly have done so in hind sight. read more

Every single aspect of the experience is thought of from the moment you step in to dress pick up. The ladies here truly made my bridal experience seamless and special. More of a breakdown below: My first visit to try gowns on was very intimate and personal, it truly felt like an elevated experience. There was only one other bride trying gowns on, so outside noise and distractions were limited. I could truly be in the moment and feel how I felt in each dress I tried. The stylist assisting me was engaged and truly made it feel like my appointment was her priority. I found my dress in this appointment and my stylist made sure I saw it in every light and different angles and never rushed me. Everything from here was a complete breeze. I did a split size for the gown to make it as close to perfect as possible and limit alterations. The team at Loho made me aware in person, as well as through follow up communications about the alteration process and options. I went with in house alterations and I cannot stress enough the talent of their seamstress! For my first alterations appointment and my pick up, the team was so attentive and their attention to detail, just chefs kiss! Loho is a 10/10 recommendation from me. The staff is so lovely, I had Candiace who immediately felt like your best friend wanting you to feel your best on your special day. Destiny was my stylist and we found my dress within the second try -- being in a queer marriage, we were nervous about what this otherwise super hetero experience would be like but Destiny made us feel right at home. From there on out, everything was even more smooth sailing. They offer you a list of seamstresses (I went in house with the incredible Diana!!! Shout out to the best of the best), they'll even hold onto your dress for you for a small fee. Their inventory is chic and all their made-to-order gowns can be seen on their site (with price points, so there is transparency). But it's truly the service that makes the experience next level. Quite simply- there is no one like Shay! He is the GOAT of bridal stylists! Shay is truly gifted at listening to your needs and pulling the right dress. He did his homework and went through my BFF's instagram to get her vibe prior to our appointment. The first dress he pulled (which didn't look like much in it's image on the website) was far and away the winner! He was also quietly confident and super supportive- we had other appointments booked and we went to those before returning to LOHO to purchase the gown the next day. I was very disappointed in this bridal salon as at no point did my daughter, the bride, feel that this salon was on top of the order. Her dress came in later than promised, which was probably due to the designer, but the communication was poor, and the salon seemed short tempered about picking up the dress as we could not do it within the 6 hour time frame given to us as we were not local. As well the ribbon belt was missing, which the salon did not realize. If the bride was not on top of it, I don't know what would have happened. To add insult to injury, no one at the salon ever seemed to care that this was a special event for the bride. From a dour receptionist, to the person helping in the appointment, they were apathetic. However, if you are a social influencer, they will make a fuss over you and your experience will be different. For everyone else, take your $10,000 order elsewhere to a salon that will at least be appreciative of the business. read more
