The yachts are fun to look at too. This is the home of the Bahia Mar Yacht Center. The Yachts are everywhere. As for the fishing, I always love to see the men come in with their catch of the day. When I would spend the day at the picnic grounds across the street from the marina I would come to the marina to buy ice, snacks, and drinks. There's plenty of vending machines. The last time I was here it was well kept. Fishing comes with a price, I don't know the current costs. I'm usually just visiting. It's a beautiful area with the beautiful Fort Lauderdale Beach nearby. I'm recommending a visit based on my happy memories and fun experiences.

Drove 30 minutes to get here only to find out that they don't even have pickleball courts. All the courts were under construction. Nice views here, weather was really nice, just upset I wasn't able to play after having to make the drive

I am sure glad that I did! A few weekends ago, we decided to take advantage of a Travelzoo deal (go now.. see if this deal is still available) - Massages, Unlimited Champagne (this is where I was hooked) and access to the pool all day. Amazing! From the time that you pull up at Valet, each and every person will greet you with a big smile and a warm welcome. Immediately you know that you are in for some top notch customer service. Staying there?? The rooms are huge! Beautiful views, super comfy beds and probably one of the cleanest rooms I have seen. The spa.. Ahhh, the spa! Complimentary Champs upon arrival is a great way to start your relaxation experience. Escorted upstairs to the locker room and changing area to put on a robe and get ready to be pampered. I always suggest a nice steam with cucumber chilled towels to begin.. this will automatically make you feel relaxed. Both the Fig Body Butter Massage and the Pedicure were beyond glorious and made the day pure bliss. Can this happen every day, please?! Both pool areas will give you the ultimate resort feel - One with a cascading waterfall and private cabanas & one "adults only" pool. The 'adults only" pool provided us again with such amazing employee's; setting out towels, being sure our drinks were full and striking up a genuine conversation.. it was above and beyond. And what a YUM lunch at the pool cafe.. Fish Sandwich for him & and wonderful Rose wine and salad for me (I crave this salad). It doesn't matter if you make this a wonderful weekend stay-cation or just a pool/spa day-cation.. You will be beyond happy and sure glad that you came. Be sure that you take a little bit to walk around the grounds and see just how beautiful the resort is.. You won't be sorry. Enjoy!

The place boasts a 10,000+ sq ft area for boaters to hang out and tell tall tales, a Captain's lounge, food areas, and so much more. This is a resort style marina with the upper class crowd in mind. The place is secured with a gate and you need a code to enter, and security seems to be great. I think it cost $2800 per month for an 82ft yacht to dock here, but dock fees include access to all the amenities, so that's a great bonus, if you use them. There is power, water, and all necessary hooks up at each dock slip. Easy access to your boat 24/7 with the correct gate codes.
