One number...a lady answered and said if we didn't see a black truck parked near the house then the man running the show wasn't available. Truck was there...so I knocked and he came to the door only to tell me no fishing today. No smile. No explanation. Meanwhile, 2 other men showed up who had called Friday to make sure that they would be open on Sunday. They were told yes and had driven quite a long way only to be told...no fishing. We could not have been more disappointed. Although a beautiful spot...you need know in advance you can't count on them to be available. Maybe they should go back to providing stock fish for the DNR and hang up their hopes of running a respectable business.

I can't speak to repair work as I haven't had my camper in yet but this place is great. I can say that the battery quick connect switch broke off the first weekend I had the camper. Went back inside and told them, the guy disappeared for a minute, came back, and tossed me a new one, no charge. I went to five different RV dealers and Rose City was by far the best. I wasn't hounded or pushed to buy a camper, the salesman (can't remember his name,sorry) just followed us around for like 2 hours answering any and all of our questions. When we settled on a camper and price, the owner did all the paperwork and she was super polite. Since it's a camper and they're like boats I'm sure I'll be taking it in for repairs within the next year or two so I'll update this then; however, I really do not expect to be disappointed. The new owners have now removed most of our friends from the campground. This is so they can get additional money for their seasonal sites. These are people who have camped there 20+ years. The owners are a married couple. The husband despises the campground and doesn't want to be there (his words). He makes everyone else miserable right along with him. Just an absolute horrible place. We rode on the seasonal road and enjoyed a leisurely ride through the park. You should definitely drive through this gorgeous area when in Rose City. It's well worth it.
