We RV camped here during the week, Monday thru Thursday. Check in time is 3:00 pm and check out time is 3:00 pm. Courteous staff and a small selection of T-shirts or sweatshirts at the camp office. The campground was very well taken care of. It was quiet and peaceful. Easy drive from campground to put in and take out sites for kayaking the AuSable River. Glennie is less than 5 miles for groceries gas and a couple of cafes/restaurants. read more

Absolutely amazing campground. We make the trip up from Florida each year. Definitely the nicest campground I've been to.

This is by far my favorite campground that I have ever been to. My uncle has a site that he rents out for the summer so we go up once a year to visit him. We don't have a camper, so we camp on the modern side. The sites on the modern side are fairly big and the sites along the woods are extremely nice. They have a small beach and many places to fish along the shore of the lake. The lake inside the park is beautiful. No matter which site that you camp at, you are close to the water. The office at the entrance of the campground has free popcorn and ice cream that you can buy. Also, if you need to get anything for your site, you can drive into Glennie which is only about 5 minutes from the camp. There's a grocery store, hardware store, party store, and a couple of restaurants. Also, if you need firewood, stop into the dollar store in town, they have the cheapest prices. You can get a whole row for $10 and a cord for $40. read more
