History
Established in 1974.
Riversong Lodge was hand-built from native white spruce logs and offers rustic riverside comfort. Its' classic birch floors, warm potbelly stove and comfortable decor make our guests feel they are part of Alaska. There is a lounge, main room, fly tying room, dining room, and fully stocked bar. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed.
We take great pride in our lodge grounds complete with herb and flower gardens. With Alaska's vibrant growing season, Riversong's flowers roar into bloom each June. Throughout the summer there is a constant parade of new colors as our gardener's plantings spring to life.
Our eight nicely appointed guest cabins surround the lodge facing the Yentna River and North America's highest peak - Mount McKinley (20,320 feet). Currently, six cabins have a private bath and two cabins share a central shower house. The housekeeper on staff will take care of any of your cabin needs.
Meet the Business Owner: Walter, Lisa, Zophia, Zach, Zoe Z.
We have been in the Lake Creek Area for 18 years now and have experienced getting engaged, married, having 3 children and meeting all sorts of amazing people over the years. We are truly blessed to call this place home!
Our oldest Zophia is 8 years old now and has been out in the area since she was 2.5 weeks old and is Alaskan as it gets..This amazing little girl has seen and done more than most will in their lifetime! She is comfortable with conventional and fly gear and her biggest salmon to date is a 55 pound King Salmon. Zophia will be a force to be reckoned with on the water!
Zachary is a wild man! He was born Alaskan and takes that to the extreme with everything he does whether its catching fish, frogs or eating his favorite meal, he may be part grizzly bear!
Zoe may not be a year old yet but she's taking on new tasks with enthusiasm and I believe she may be ready to try some fresh salmon for dinner!
