Which was very interesting but I'll let her tell you about it when you visit. On my way up there I discovered there was a Groupon for $20 you could get a tasting of eight wines for two people. So, I purchased that which was a great deal. It turns out it's a misprint there is actually only six wines but still a great deal. This was a weekday visit and they had some prepackaged food for purchase and also soft drinks. We purchased a couple meat and cheese trays and went outside to enjoy the wine. It was nice outside finally under 80 and air quality not terrible for a pleasant change. They have a great many tables and chairs and umbrellas outdoors making it a nice stop for spring and summer. The wine club sounded intriguing and I'll definitely ponder that as everything tasted great. I'll definitely be back to try it again.

We had a great experience at this event space during the recent AAPI Food & Wine Fest. The event…read morespace is located in downtown McMinnville which is so easy breezy to navigate. It's quiet, walkable, and has a surprising amount of hotel, shopping, dining and wine tasting options within a just a few blocks. We stayed nearby and were able to walk to this event space from our hotel. The building has a brick exterior and interior with polished concrete floors and natural wood accents. The event space features large indoor and outdoor spaces. And the outdoor space had several seating options, both covered and uncovered with lots of lush landscape and greenery throughout. For this particular event, food vendors were stationed in the outdoor space with covered tents while the wine tasting vendors were stationed inside. Both low and high top tables were setup throughout to allow for a variety of seating and mingling options. The bathrooms are individual stalls with two access points from the interior and exterior which allows for ease of access and flow. I think the layout of the space is great for a variety of functions and I would definitely attend another event at this space. We booked Stillwater for our wedding scheduled on September 20, 2025, but had to cancel in December…read more2024 -- giving them over 9 months' notice. Despite this, they refused to return any portion of our deposit or apply it toward a future event. While I understand contracts exist for a reason, I was shocked at the complete lack of flexibility given how far in advance we canceled -- especially since the venue admitted September is one of their busiest months. To make matters worse, they later booked another event on the same date. That means they not only kept our deposit but also collected full payment from another client -- essentially double dipping on the same date. On top of this, attempts to communicate with Sarah Tynan were very disappointing. After emailing her directly multiple times to appeal for even partial consideration, I was simply ignored. Future clients should be aware: if anything unexpected happens in your life, don't expect compassion, flexibility, or even basic communication. Be absolutely certain before you sign, because once they have your deposit, you will not see it again -- even if they rebook your date and profit twice. You know how it goes- happy couple, candle light, 105 degree summer day... enchanting. One can't help being swept up in the moment of a intimate family wedding. Yet after having some time to reflect, I have to say that I adore this little chapel built when times were simpler in 1884. It only holds about 100 people, the entirely white interior clad in custom hammered tin shines in the glowing evening sunlight that passes through the stained glass windows. A little stuffy, but surprisingly cool given the asinine recent temperature highs. The surrounding gardens and reception area makes it a picturesque setting in the outskirts of Portland. From the minister walking down the aisle to the ringing of the bells as the bride and groom walk out the doors, it's really a lovely place for a wedding that goes off without a hitch. Yet a little part of me kind of hopes I never come back here, I'd hate to tarnish the memory I've made.

We got in before they got noticed and saved a bundle. A winter wedding here on a cold but sunny day. The sunlight glowing through the original 100+ year old stained glass windows and off the white, pressed tin ceiling and walls. Ivory pews, ivory walls, ivory all. We wore ivory, black and charcoal gray. Decorated with only evergreen boughs and silver urns. Just lovely. Good spot for just-the-couple photos on the front stoop. The owner is sweet as wedding cake ("honey", "sweetheart", etc) but just a bit scatter brained so keep notes and get a receipt. Don't patronize their vendor list for photographers, cakes or flowers--you can do far better elsewhere (see my other wedding related reviews). Bonus Tip: Check out The Antonia Ballroom for your reception needs (just two blocks north and one block east) and that's a good deal as well!

The food tasted very good, and was presented very well. Her staff did a great job with the set up and the clean up of the event. They were very attentive to the tables and making sure the guests were not in need of anything. She also provided the cake service after the pictures were taken. She also provided the bartender for the event as well. She also did a 12 and under buffet with macaroni and cheese and chicken nuggets for our guests as well. If I have another event come up, I will use Reed Catering again.
