I grew up going to this Piggly Wiggly for everything I needed. It's one of the very few grocery…read morestores in this neighborhood. They have lots of good sales as well as a good deli where you can sit and eat as well. I've most recently tried their sushi, and staff is always super friendly and helpful.

I'm done with this store for good. I rarely buy anything anywhere that isn't on sale, so I read…read moreevery grocery ad that cones out mid-week. PW Warrior can NEVER be fully in sync with their own ad, which I assume comes out of corporate. They started offering a weekly freebie earlier this year with a specified minimum overall purchase amount. So you grab one, meet the required $$, get in line to check, then notice you've been charged for the freebie. Why? Because the one selected off the shelf doesn't EXACTLY match the picture in the ad. Went one time specifically for one particular item, only to find there was none in the store. So I asked the department manager if more was coming in. He said no, because he'd stopped buying the item, since "every time I ordered something from them they didn't send it." Guess whoever plans the specials should've checked with that guy before putting things in sale. I've spent MANY long minutes standing in line while the cashier (and I need to say here that the cashiers have always been helpful and understanding) calls the manager, who has to take the sale item back to the middle of the store, check this and that, all while customers are waiting in line behind me, to finally stroll back, get on the register, key some things into the register, then walk away - all without saying a word to me (most times, not all). Today the ad showed Coke 12-pack cans at 2 for $10. I check out and stupid me forgets to watch the register. I'm looking at the receipt while walking to my truck and notice I've been charged full price for both cartons. I'm eating that extra cost today because I will NEVER EVER AGAIN set foot in this miserable place. I'm sick and tired of having to fight my way to save a few much needed $$ savings. This Ingles sits just off of 59 in Trenton and seems to be the anchor of this exit. While grocery…read morestores are not normally on my itinerary on road trips, I made the pit stop into this Ingles for a potty break due to the neighboring gas station not having facilities available...and since I was already there, I did a bit of browsing and shopping. The store, like most Ingles, is a bit dated and worn. The brand is not known for shiny new and updates stores, so this location is definitely "classic". Since I was traveling, I stayed in the interior aisles and picked up a few snacks and staples that I needed, saved me a trip closer to home. I will say that Ingles is a bit pricey compared to other grocery stores, surprisingly so on majority of the items I scoped, fresh food and all. Check out was okay. The cashier was nice, but not "friendly" or engaging. I get it is a transaction, and it definitely felt just as such. Overall, I get the need and dependence on this location for the local community. Good spot for groceries, just a bit high on prices and service could use some tweaks.

My fiancé and I recently moved to Trenton so he could attend the Lineman school here. Since moving, we've been adjusting to living on one income and it's been financially challenging due to the amount of time it took me to find a job. When we got to the register, we realized we were $1.23 short. It may not seem like much, but in that moment it felt incredibly heavy. As we were trying to decide what to put back, our cashier Jacob quietly walked around the register and paid the difference himself without hesitation. He didn't make a big scene or make us feel embarrassed -- he simply chose kindness. That small act meant more to us than he probably realizes. After months of stress and uncertainty, the Lord really reminded us that there are still genuinely good people in this world. Jacob, thank you for your compassion and generosity. You made a difference for us that night. Ingles is lucky to have someone like you on their team -- he absolutely deserves recognition and a raise!

We were told to air fry them for around 3-4 minutes and let me tell you... we aren't big sweet eaters but these pies will have us coming back. Next we went there for the hamburger. This is our first time to ever visit the Greasy Cove. My wife and I split a cheeseburger with onion, tomato, pickle , lettuce ketchup, mayo and we added mustard. The homemade fries we ordered ($4.00) on the side came in their own basket. Piping hot and fresh. I told my wife they served too large a portion. We finished them all. The burger patty was cooked on a flat top, so the edges were crispy and they hung over the bun. So good. This was our first visit and we have noticed Greasy Cove on different social media platforms for a couple of years and finally decided to try them as we passed down 59 South and took the 15-20 minute drive. Thought I would share our experience with a review... by the way we arrived at 10:45 for our "lunch" to try the burger and left so happy. Greasy Cove..!

Remove all bling, and roll up your sleeves. This burger is juicy! We did the classic - single patty, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles on a buttery toasted bun. Fries are hand cut & stand up to the burger. They have several burgers to choose from - double, triple and even a 5lb challenge burger. But save room for dessert! They have fried pies & homemade ice cream! It is an old country store vibe with a small farmers market. So take a drive in the country. You won't be disappointed.
