I was drawn into this place by their very Instagrammable popsicle, modern, minimalistic storefront, and pretty popsicles on display. They have about 15-20 flavors to choose from, from sorbets to ice creams, and you can get them dipped in white chocolate, milk chocolate, or dark chocolate, and in almonds, hazelnuts, or peanuts if you want (the chocolates and nuts come at a surcharge) They have flavors of sorbets like mango-passionfruit, and other fruit flavors, and the ice cream flavors range from Ferrero, matcha, hazelnut, vanilla, etc. The pops range from 2€ to 3.50€ depending on the flavor that you get. I thought the concept was really cute and novel, and the chocolate that it's dipped is nice and high quality, but I found the texture of the ice cream very icy and watery. It wasn't very creamy and I much prefer the ice cream from Boulevard if I had to pick one to get ice cream from. I got the hazelnut ice cream pop dipped in dark chocolate and topped with dark chocolate, and while it was fine, it was a bit icy. I liked the toppings and it had a little bit of a caramel filling on the inside which was nice. My husband and I liked this better than the matcha flavored pop that we also got. The matcha was really watery and icy and didn't taste much like matcha. I bet the fruit popsicles/sorbets are better, so I would try this instead of the ice cream one if you want to try this. Otherwise, stick to Boulevard for larger helpings of ice cream and creamier textures.

Ran into this ice cream / popsicle place strolling the narrow alleys of San Sebastián old town. Never had anything like this (Ice cream popsicle with soft filling). Amazing taste, presentation, and friendly staff. Went back again today!

This coffee one was the best! It has coffee flavored condensed milk inside of coffee bar!

We just happened to walk by and found this great place. Since my kiddo has lots of food allergies, it's always great to find some treats without nuts & dairy. She tried strawberry pop and I tried coffee. They were both really good! The strawberry one wasn't sugary at all and what we tasted was mostly strawberries. My coffee pop had a strong coffee flavor (which I love) and they had coffee liquid with condensed milk inside! That reminded me of Vietnamese coffee and I totally fell in love with it. It's €2.50 without any toppings. Highly recommend!

Tried the ferrero - chocolate with praline cream. Yumm!! It was the perfect dessert after bar hopping.

One interesting attribute of this shop is the ability to customize your popsicle once you've made the choice.

Items Selected: Pelayo…read moreRosquillas Pastel Valesco Fruit Ring Cream Bun Persian Celebrating a temporary break in the rain by visiting Mount Igueldo and the San Sebastian Aquarium it was with weather again turning stormy that shelter was sought at Hogar Dulce Hogar and with the small dining room packed as the heavens once again burst forth the experience was mostly a good one, a half dozen pastries selected to enjoy at a table with free WiFi with only the dried out fruit ring found to lack. Loosely translated as "Home Sweet Home," the interior cozy with service capable of understanding English though somewhat limited in their ability to explain the goods, it was just prior to 18h00 that I arrived to the bustling cafe and although only a fraction of items were listed in terms of names or prices it was largely a matter of experience that guided my order, a few items plated for now with the rest photographed and rebagged for later. Obviously no longer warm given the time of arrival, most of the items likely sitting on shelves since the bakery opened midday, it was first in bites of an item labeled as "Pelayo" that my palate was entrusted, the almond-crusted cake something like a Pastel Crema fortified with frangipane while the more traditional Pastel Valesco was itself topped in nuts, the interior just short of 'set' and eggy with restrained sweetness. Already mentioning the fruit ring, a laminated 'donut' that may have been good when fresh but clearly here suffering from time left uncovered behind glass, a far better flavor was found in the cinnamon-sugar dusted Rosquillas, the texture not unlike that of a churro with a light crunch to the outside giving way to a wispy open crumb. Relatively straight forward with the cream bun, the dough itself light while insides were more "custard" than the those found elsewhere in Spain, it was finally with a crispy Persian that the tasting concluded and with a similar vanilla texture sandwiched between flaky layers of puff pastry the results were by far the best version of the item found throughout my Basque visit - potentially the best pastry sampled in all of San Sebastian.

We sat here for hours talking. It is definitely a welcoming environment. They accept cards and cash.
