Stopped by for some coffee and churros with chocolate. The staff was friendly. The food is very affordable. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because the churros were not freshly made/hot, but they still tasted good. Would recommend if you are looking to satisfy a sweet tooth craving!

You know it's going to be a good day when you start out with churros & chocolate. In fact, we liked this place so much (and because not much else is open for food before 11 am), that we came here two days in a row for the churros. This place is in Parte Vieja / Old Town and looks pretty unassuming with the metal counter and the kitchen behind the counter. Order at the counter, and they'll call your number when it's ready. We got the churros & chocolate, and coffee the first day, and then just churros & chocolate the second day. The churros are crispy and fresh, and the cup of essentially melted chocolate is delicious and generous. It's basically the size of a coffee cup, just filled with melted chocolate and it's every chocoholic's dream. At first, I thought it would be way too much chocolate, but a few minutes later, it was disappearing quickly. I was eventually just eating the chocolate with a spoon and may have licked the cup if I wasn't in public. It would be a pity to leave Spain and not eat churros at least once! Come here at least once for your churros & chocolate fix - it's inexpensive, quick, delicious, and they open relatively early. They also have sandwiches and platters of food, but we only had churros.

Lovely place, tasty churros with hot chocolate !! A must while in Donostia - San Sebâstian The place is old style as if you were at a train station. Grab a bottle of Lambrusco/beer/tea they have more than just churros ;)

In the land of gastronomy sometimes you crave for the basics. Hot chocolate, churros, ham and egg. Quick, filling, inexpensive breakfast.Pictures and prices on the menu for those who dont speak spanish.

Very good churros with chocolate! Very satisfying breakfast and this place seems to have other nice dishes such as hamon with fries or eggs.

This is my favorite stop for the best chocolate caliente and churros in Old Town, San Sebastián.

Such a wonderful chocolate shop to visit if you are in San Sebastian for the day!…read more I will be the first to say that I am not the biggest chocolate fan, yes bring out the pitchforks to hunt me down. With that said though, I do enjoy various types of homemade style chocolate and that is really what Casa Aramendia brings to the table. Located within the tight alleyways of old town San Sebastian, most may pass it by, but do yourself a favor and bookmark this if you are a chocolate fan as it is worthwhile. The staff is very friendly, speak good English, and more than willing to help you choose some delectable chocolate. While browsing around I'd suggest watching the back room where they are making the chocolate you are eating at the moment or in the process of buying. Like most chocolate stores, they are willing to let you nibble on a few samples to help you decide which bunch you will be devouring. One downside, which is a bad word to use in this case, is the chocolate is not cheap, but trust me it is worth it as the flavors are intense and insanely tasty!

What a delightful chocolate shop. Perfect place to grab a tasty souvenir of San Sebastian (you…read moreknow, one that will pair well with the local cider, txakoli, or Rioja you've already packed into your bag). We stopped in to purchase the ever popular chocolate iphone. All of the delights of the regular iphone, but with no bugs or new operating systems to make you mad. Super convenient location in old town by all the pinxto bars!
