Went in today with some blank keys I bought online to have cut. They didn't give me any grief about not buying it through them. They simply let me know that they couldn't guarantee the keys if they didn't work. After cutting the three keys I tested them out and they all worked without a problem! BEWARE!!!DONT CALL THIS COMPANY! My cars auto immobilizer system locked my car up, and I called this company hoping theyd help. When I first called the man on the other end gave the impression that he didnt want to do any work. I told him my problem, and it seemed like he kept trying to talk me out of needing his help. Id had a long last few days, and just brushed it off figuring it was just my nerves. He told me itd be around 45 minutes to an hour before he could get to me, I agreed and hung up. An hour and a half later, he showed up. We explained our problem, and right away he seemed annoyed that he had to help us. He spoke in a sarcastic tone, and said he "thought" our transponder chip was damaged in our key. Said he could try and make a new one for $55 more dollars. We figured what the hell, they were already charging us $60 for the service call (much more then their competitors), seemed silly to just pay him $60 to come out to be an asshole to us. He proceeded to go make the key inside his truck/bus thing, when I noticed a woman in the passenger seat, who obviously wasnt an employee, so now I at least understood why he was trying to rush and not have to deal with our problem. He finished the key programming and cutting( which literally took 5 minutes), and was annoyed with my husband when he went inside to get his RF frequency finder. My husband figured that with his sarcastic attitude, and his negative vibe, that he wanted to make sure he had actually programmed the new key. We then proceeded to explain to him that the dealership, my service manual, and everywhere online had explained that there was a way to manually unlock the immobilizer system, and tried to explain to him the process, and he basically told us they( the dealership, all the experts online, and the words in my service manual) where wrong, and refused to even try. He hooked up his machine to my car, which I now have found out, that if he had hooked his Consult II machine up to my car, and proceeded to follow the steps we had told him we were advised would work, my car would be unlocked. Instead when the car didnt start, and when the problem persisted, he stated to my husband that " sometimes it takes a while to kick in, you should wait an hour, and try and start it up, it should turn over then". Which we felt meant, I tired of trying to help you, so Im gonna give you some bullshit ass advice so I can leave with your money without fixing your problem, because I have someone waiting for me to get off in the car. Against my advice, my husband paid him, and he left. We took his advice and waited an hour, and SURPRISE SURPRISE...the car didnt start..!!!!! Basically, this company screwed us, I warn anyone thinking of using this company to extremely BEWARE. They are rude, and unprofessionally. And when I complained today, they havent responded, to try to make it better. They obviously dont care every much for their customers or customer service. Ive read the other reviews for this company, and maybe the guy that helped those people quit, because we definitely didnt get friendly, knowledgeable service. And it ended up costing us more then we were quoted, no discount provided at all. I work for a business also. Called at time of need and said they are on there way 15 Min. away from the jobsite I needed them at. 45 Min. go by nobody showed up. I called, they said oh they will be there in 10 min.. It was now an hour. I call again. They tell me they are on there way still. No one else was available, I didn't have much choice then to wait to see if they show. An hour and half passed NO ONE!!! I spoke to Ernie about getting a FOB key cut and programmed and he gave me a no nonsense quote with a good price. I bought the key from an online vendor and it didn't work (surprise), you get what you pay for. Fortunately these guys had one in stock and they got it cut and programmed quickly, again, for a decent price. I'd say they are friendly, efficient, and fairly priced. These guy broke my ignition lock. And now they don't want to pay for it. I spoke with they guy that broke it an older man. And me started to get mad and curse me out. He stuck a blank key in the ignition and put vise grips on the head of they key Then he turned the key till it popped and he said your ignition is broken that's why it doesn't work. He broke it and they don't want to pay for it. I'm gonna take them to court. Don't trust them at all they don't use tools. That's why he broke it read more

Customer service was bad. Came in with an issue that I thought was simple. I brought in a car key to get shaved and cut due to original key's battery being out. I was sent here to come get it cut. Unknowingly the replacement of the remote for the key wouldn't have worked because the original key had a chip in it and required a reprogramming for the new. I understood it the first time and keep in mind I was only sent here to get a cut. However when we confronted the problem (new key had no chip in the remote which resulted in the key being useless) they began to become rude when I ask them questions of possibilities. I understand that the process is unlikely but be more professional about it. One gentleman behind the desk began to ridicule the work that was done to the key constantly making rude comments about the reasoning of why we had switched the remotes without taking out the chip. The other gentlemen made a wit comment about wanting me to tensionally waste my money as I was walking out. Handle things much more professionally and know how to interact with customers despite their knowledge of a certain area. read more

Beau came out on Fathers Day, 7pm. I have a F350, but wife had the keys - out of town- and I needed the truck. I had a hidden key, but I was told it wouldn't work - could cause problems. Beau asked to see it, and immediately started my truck (I'm blushing). He could have scammed me (because I had called AAA to have a key made) and said he "had" to make a key. But he said he did not need to make a key, so it was just a service call - covered by AAA. Pretty honest guy. Saved a lot not having to make a key. If your key doesn't have a chip in it, it only cost ~ $2 to get spares made at Lowes. read more

My 2013 Honda Pilot key broke and I was about to go to Honda dealership to get the key cut and buy new fob. Honda wanted 73.99 for the Fob and 125.00 to cut key. So I was not going to pay that and to Yelp I went. I looked up locksmiths and emailed about 8 asking how much to do my 2013 pilot key and fob. Fresno mobile key (Beau) literally emailed and called me within 5 minutes. I explained what I needed and Beau immediately said you can use your old components and just put them in a new fob and then we will cut the key. Beau offered two options 49.00 for the same model fob that Honda has or a indestructible lifetime guarantee fob and key cut for 79.00. I jumped all over the 79.00and am very happy with it. Fits ignition great and is 10 times stronger looking and feeling than the original Honda fob. Customer service was incredible and best price by far for the quality you get. Unfortunately, my daughter's car was stolen by someone she knew and the thief had the only key. We retrieved the car but were unable to get back the key. Fresno Mobile Key was one of the few places (we called many) who could re-key her "high security" type of key. We chose them because they gave us the best appointment time (same day!) and price quote. I called in the morning and they were at our house by that same afternoon. FMK didn't just create a copy of the original key that was still in the thief's possession, they re-keyed the ignition/door lock so the thief couldn't come back and steal the car again. I liked the fact that I was able to pay using my credit card via a cell phone pay service. Gave me the run around and a lot of mouth service, but could not produce a key. Made 2 trips to their location. I think I was dealing with a new guy, because after calling 2 dealerships(fresno and Cerritos, ca) and Paxton Locksmith the issue he was having was a non-issue! Called Paxton Locksmithing in Fresno, they came out 20 mins after I called them and made me 2 keys in less than 10 mins, made the other key I was going to have fixed because the case was breaking by Fresno Mobile for super cheap for an additional 5 mins! The only good thing here was he at least did not make me a wrong key, because I told him I wasn't going to pay for an incorrect key. On Friday, January 4, 2013, Fresno Mobile Key installed two new cylinders in my exterior office doors. On Monday, January 7, 2013, the key stuck in the lock and could not be removed. Tiny came out, removed the key, took the lock apart, and put it back in. On Thursday, January 17, just before midnight, the key stuck in the second lock and could not be removed, not by myself, my boyfriend, nor the security guard. I called Fresno Mobile Key. They said that they don't warrant the parts they sell, that if the lock worked AT ALL, even once, after they installed it, it was properly installed, and that they would charge me $100 for a service call. Then they hung up on me and turned on the answering machine. I called back on Friday, January 18. They repeated that there would be a service charge and again hung up and turned on the answering machine. I called a second locksmith. He told me to push in the small, round part where the key goes in while pulling the key out. The key came out easily. He then told me that the tail piece of the mortis cylinder was loose & to call Fresno Mobile Key to tighten it. I called Fresno Mobile Key & told them what the second locksmith said. The man again hung up on me and turned on the answering machine. The second locksmith came out & said the locks had been installed negligently. He had to turn the screws five rotations to tighten them. BEWARE of Fresno Mobile Key. My belief, based on how they handled this situation, is that, at best, they are incompetent, and they are probably dishonest & unreliable, based on my experience with them. read more

I took my dog for a walk at Woodward, got distracted and locked my keys in my car. Beau showed up in 40 minutes to unlock my car. Thankfully he was also there two seconds after he unlocked it and I locked my keys in the car the second time. Thankfully he didn't charge me for the second unlock. I had to get my vehicle ignition fixed. They indicated that they can come out to my home to get the ignition fixed. The tech that came out did not fix the issue. He jammed the key in the ignition stating that it was fixed. I called the main office to make a complaint and they sent out the same tech and again bad service. The key would not go properly and if u were forcing the key it would go in. Contacted the main office again and informed them that I will be going to the main office. Once at the office the workers were rude and did not offer to help. There was only one worker that understood my frustration and in 100 degree heat he was redoing the first tech work and got my ignition to work properly. Thank you to the tech that was willing to help to get the job fixed correctly. Also since driving to their main office they still charged for the originally going out to my residence. read more

The rudest most unprofessional people I have ever seen in my life! I went in on Saturday to get a remote key for my car, and was told it was a special order and that I had to pay for in full, so I did and was to pick it up on Tuesday. Tuesday I go in was told they had to code cut the key, the employee goes out to a van to cut it...I'm waited about 45 min I'm standing outside the employee approaches me to show me how worn my old key is compared to the new one and states "that's why it's $65.00, to code cut the key," I stated in paid for the key on Saturday he walked past me into the store and tells the older man that I wasn't aware of the $65.00 fee the older man states he told me I argue no you told me to pay in full, I wasn't informed of the fee verbally nor was it written on my receipt, he asked the younger man for confirmation, as the woman jumps in whom was in the rear of the building Saturday then a man comes running from the back screaming at me that they told me about the fee, I stated you weren't here how do you know what I was told, I was insulted by Josh stating my hearing was impaired, I told him I don't deserve his insults, turning to the husband and wife asking is that the way they treat there customers. They did nothing the owner took my key poping it open and removed the cut key and replaced it with a blank one I explained to him I didn't pay 112.00 for a key to be altered and I can't use it he states you paid for a blank key sue me, it civil I sue people all the time. I said that's pretty sad and nothing to be proud of! He walks up to a black box pushing a button on the key and the box lights up being that I didn't look down he again starts screaming at me to look at the box, I requested a refund he refused it and walks to the back. These people have very poor customer service skills, and fault the customers for their inability to communicate properly I can't believe the service I received and having to be insulted unfortunately I returned today to get my key and paid them the 65.00 and they demanded payment first stating they don't want any problems, I told the woman I wasn't there to give them problems I just want my key I paid for! This is the worst pair of business owners I have ever encountered, good customer service goes a long way!
