These are awful people. I droped a lock and asked them to make a Key. They told me it's gonna take 30-60 minutes and they will call me when its ready. I waited for two hours and they didn't call. so i called them and they said it's gonna be ready in 30 minutes. I drove by the shope after the 30 minutes and they told me this lock needs special order key. Why they didn't till me from the beginning !!!they just don't know what they are doing. I went there because the guy who helped me last time was so cool. I don't know where he went. I guess they're under new management? This is the worst company you can deal with. Just like the other reviewer, I also lost my key in Yosemite. I have the whole family with a toddler in tow. We got locked out of a car in one of the parks there. This company gave me an ETA of 3-4 hours. Called for a couple of times and they said the locksmith is on the way. 6 hours after, I learned that no one is coming. It was getting dark and cold in the place and we we waited for nothing. What a friendly place. They have very low prices for programming key fobs and cutting keys for your automobile. We had two different vehicles that needed key fobs programmed and had another one that hadn't worked for three or more years. After looking at it the owner offered to replace the clip in it and if that works he will program it at no charge! Follow-up on the repair on the key fob. It wasn't ready when we went to pick it up on Sunday. My husband went by again on Tuesday and it was ready but they didn't have a battery for it. I would have given the 0 stars if I could My vehicle was stolen so before I scheduled to come out I verified that they would take payment by CC over the phone. After being put on hold twice they said yes The service man came out never once asking about payment... The service man was not the problem After they were completed they insisted I pay them. I have no method of payment my husband does. I explained what I asked prior to scheduling. Then the service man called the owner Then the owner refused to call my husband so he could pay them Then the owner started threatening to come to my house. The worst sort of dishonest business. They won't tell you how long they will actually be or that they aren't coming. Then you might have a chance of making other arrangements. I lost my keys in Yosemite and called at 1 pm to get my car rekeyed. I was told they would be there by 4:30, fine. I called at 4:45, 5:30, 6:30, 8:00 and 9:00, each time to be told they would be on their way and should arrive within an hour. They never showed up. They lied to me for 5 hours and left us stranded and having to pay top dollar for last minute accommodation. If they had just told me they couldn't make it, then I could have made other arrangements. This place is SORRY. I went there to get a truck valet lock fitted for my 95 Honda civic. It's the lock that sits beside my driver seat. It allows me to lock the truck, it can't be open internally or from the truck with a key. I inquired on if it was possible to make key for this lock. First words out of his mouth was. "This can't be used to start a car. I kind of laughed internally to myself thinking, I know this!! I'm bringing you this lock, I know what's it for. As to me, it Implied possible criminal activity. Lost my keys with the widows down it was about 10:30 at night. I call these guys up. I never used them before and the gentleman had a guy out to me in 45 minutes. The technician Beau was able to rekey and get it to work however I ordered a new remote and unbeknownst to me I had a alarm that wasn't factory. It it wasn't able to take the standard remote. We were however able to disengage the alarm and kill switch so I was able to operate my truck that was all done free of charge and I'm grateful to them for helping me out.
