He took my original key, so I'm out of a key for three of my doors with standard knob lock and bolt lock. Payment was by credit card, where he asked for a license id. I said no. I've never had that credit card issue in my own home. Billing was overpriced at just over $1300 for the job I disliked. He said I got a discount I never received of a total down to $895. I'm unhappy with his locks and am planning to replace the locks with a different locksmith.

I live out of town and found David and his team on Yelp. Reviews are a big deal to me when deciding which company to use, but because my dad was locked outside without a jacket and the temperature was dropping, I didn't have much time to do extensive research. We had a great experience with David from the first phone call to his arrival. He was extremely kind, efficient, and professional. He went above and beyond to help my father get back into his house when the doorknob stopped working, and he handled everything quickly and smoothly. It was such a relief knowing my father was taken care of. I highly recommend his services and would absolutely use him again!

BEWARE....DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! Called last week to…read morecome out and determine if my ignition was bad. He said it was the ignition wasn't reading my chip. He said he'd have to order a new immobilizer and it would cost me 175.00. He was supposed to come back out on Monday to install it. Monday came and went...... He never showed..... Tuesday rolls around, finally hear from him that he would be here at 10 am to fix it. Yet again, 10 am comes and goes..... at noon he finally calls and days he'll be here at 2. This time he actually did show. Thought to myself finally im going to get my jeep running...... but, nope not the case. Now he says he had to go buy a blank key to program the new immobilizer. Its going to cost me another $100. Oh and it has to be cash because his card reader isn't working. Anyway, gave him the cash to go get the new key. I should've known at this point he was scamming me, but I was so desperate to get my jeep back on the road and I didn't want to lose the money I'd already had to pay him for the service call. Needless to say he never returned that day and never called to explain what happened. Finally got in touch with him the next day. Today..... he came up with every excuse possible on why he never came back the previous day. He gave me 3 different times that he'd be here today to fix it. Each time he didn't show or call. I kept having to call and ask where he was. 6 days and $160 later I still have a jeep that won't start. He was kind enough to return my $100 at 4:00 this afternoon. Guys im just out the $60 he got at the start of this horrific experience. My advice to anyone thinking of calling Able's Lock and key..... Don't do it. He's nothing more than a thief. He might ber okay if you have something simple like being locked out of your car. But honestly I wouldn't even trust him with that, he'd probably copy the key and come back and rob you that night. Good luck to any future clients, hopefully your experience is much better than mine.
