My garage door would not close because one of the cables had come off the pulley, and they responded very quickly late on a Friday evening when I really needed help. The technician was extremely friendly, professional, communicative, and took the time to explain everything clearly. At no point did I feel pressured into making a decision, and I want to be very fair about that. He showed me that the grooves in my pulleys were almost gone, which made sense since they are more than 20 years old, and he also pointed out that the cables were starting to wear. He recommended replacing both pulleys and cables rather than simply putting the cable back on, especially since the same issue could easily happen again soon. He also noted that my rollers were wearing out, and when I asked about replacing those too, he even contacted his manager and got that price reduced. So to be clear, I was not forced into any of these repairs. I agreed to them because, given the age of the parts and the fact that my garage door would not close, it seemed like the most practical decision at the time. My frustration is with the total cost. I understand that emergency evening service comes at a premium, and I also understand that I made the final decision to approve the work. But after everything was done, I looked up the cost of the parts themselves -- the rollers, cables, and pulleys -- and found that they can be purchased for under $100 total. That was incredibly disappointing to discover after paying more than $1,200 for the work. I do not work on garage doors myself because I am very cautious about the springs and the tension involved, which is why I chose to call a professional. Since it was late on a Friday and my garage door would not close, I decided to move forward with the repairs rather than spend time researching costs. Afterward, when I looked up the price of the parts and saw how low they were, I was extremely disappointed and came away feeling like I had been charged far more than was reasonable, especially since technician completed the work was done in about 90 minutes. So overall, this review is two-sided: the technician and the service experience were excellent, and I truly appreciated the fast response and friendly professionalism. But I am very disappointed in the pricing, and that is what leaves a bad overall feeling for me.

They always called 20-30 mins before their arrival window and sent a text with the photo of the person coming. A tech came out and examined our door and gave us some options that were reasonably priced. He was very professional and polite. On the day we scheduled the guy parked outside of the garage, introduced him then walked around the garage checking out what he'd need to do to install our new door and opener. He thanked us for clearing out the space so he could work and told us that it would take about 3.5 to 4 hours to complete everything. He stated he does two of these a day and ours was the second. Ok. Then he got to work. We offered water and a fan since it was a very hot day but he said he was prepared and thanked us. He was done in exactly the amount of time he said he would. I was amazed. A week out and the door and opener is so much quieter. Thanks Precision!

Purchased my 1st Liberty Safe after listening to Hannity on WOKV. Went to Knowell's and Chris was quick to approach me about my needs and explained options, etc. Since I purchased an entry level safe it was small enough to load up into my vehicle. Awesome price. Chris was super professional. I HIGHLY recommend this family owned business to buy the best safe in the USA. Thank you Chris. Mark UPDATE. I posted a new picture of its final resting place. My office closet. Mounted right up against the left and rear walls to discourage a crow bar since they will have little leverage. Four, 1/2 inches thick x 4 inches deep. These are incredibly strong concrete, course threaded, specialty bolt provided by Chris from Knowell's Lock and Safe. My entry level safe is solid and well made by the best. Liberty Safe. Trust me, it's not moving a millimeter. The house is secured by a security system, RING for the door bell. (2 way communication and cloud recording. Since I am in the security business, I have a state of the art Video Surveillance system throughout the house and outdoors. The safe itself has 2 dedicated HD cameras recording local and to the cloud. But the best security is my dog. Good luck crossing his territory. I am sure the video will be entertaining. God help you. I can see upgrading with another larger Liberty Safe or a trade up. I love what I have and it meets my needs......now. I reccomend buying the midsize Centurion 18 or 24. For about half the price of a Centurion 12, you can spend the extra $100 or $200 and literally double the interior cubic storage space with so many cool options to add. It's a great price for a basic entry level HIGH QUALITY, made in the USA, guaranteed for life safe. My only choice is Liberty Safe at Knowell's Lock & Key. ASK FOR CHRIS. He knows the products, super professional and an all around great guy that will go out of the way for anyone. Now onto another live and learn. The electronic lock has digits 0 to 9. You have 6 digit in your password. If you use the same digit twice in any order, or better yet 2 double digits, your possible combinations is about 1,000,000 +1. Use a number like this. 916149 Use 6 digits 638491 and the possible combinations is roughly 151,000. Good, but why not make it impossible to guess or have someone lift oil prints of your keypad and know the digits. Never use easy to guess passwords. Employee number, birthdate, 000000, 111111, or the default 123456. Bad idea. Use a 6 digit code generator online for random digits to use in your password. Remember to register your new safe. ALWAYS CEMENT BOLT YOUR NEW SAFE INTO THE SLAB. Buy from Chris. Nothing is better for securing safe to your floor. Best place to get a safe hands down. I jus recently purchased my second safe from knowell's. The first one was a colonial 50 and they delivered. They took extreme care with the delivery making sure not to damage my house or safe. Upon installation I they gave me a walk through on the safe again and how to maintain and change the combo. some of the best service that I could ask for. This brings me to my second safe that I bought from them this week. I stopped buy jus to see and get some more ideas and there it was a recent trade in. I asked what it was going for and the price was awesome. not long after they sold me a second safe. They are some of the most professional people that I have had the privilege of doing business with. Everyone there is exceptionally knowledgeable and very courtois. If you haven't been there and are looking for a safe or just a locksmith I highly recommend stopping by their showroom and experience it for yourself. Best purchasing experience I've had in recent memory. Period. I knew what I wanted so I ordered over the phone. Liberty Centurion 12 and a couple accessories. The young lady that helped me on the phone was patient and very helpful. Any question she didn't know the answer to she quickly researched and answered for me. This is HUGE in any industry! I was set to meet them at the house to show them where I wanted it mounted to the floor but my vehicle broke down so I asked them not to mount it. The delivery gentlemen were very professional and handled the delivery well even though it was wet and rainy. They took care to not track up the house (made the wife happy!) and took extra effort to wipe down the safe and the floor. On top of all that, Jeff even offered to send a tech back to mount it to the floor for free! And he did and did a phenomenal job! read more

They had great reviews on google and yelp, and being unfamiliar with the area, I decided to shop them for my new safe. Their website was super easy to navigate and to build a safe. I ordered my safe over a holiday weekend. The following business day Mr Knowell called to confirm that my safe was in stock and set up delivery for a few days later. They called the day of delivery to inform me they were on the way. Everything was delivered in perfect condition. They were professional, punctual and courteous. The owner, Jeff, has been outstanding and very helpful every time I come to the shop. He has been able to copy keys that were so worn, I thought they couldn't be copied, saving me from having to re key my 34 year old Van. He even helped me open my safe over the phone, helping me use the right sequence with the combination. That really saved me a hassle. I can't tell you what GREAT customer service I have received! These guys know Locks and Safes! And, I found their prices extremely competitive, even beating Home Depot on replacement locks for the 5 gates around my home. This is my second purchase from KNOWELL'S. The first was exactly as I would have hoped for. The safe was exactly as described and the shipping and installation was top notch and professional. I needed a second safe and I decided to go back to KNOWELL'S because of my first great experience. I am very glad I did. First, let me say that they are very competitive pricing wise. You may pay a buck less or a buck more at a big box store but you won't get the same customer service and might not get what you expected. I got exactly what I expected and I am very pleased. I ordered a Liberty safe online and one of the vendors available was Knowell's. I chose them simply because they were closest. After my purchase I kept looking at other safes and realized I wanted a different one. Knowell's went above and beyond to make sure I got exactly what I wanted, even though it was a lot of paperwork for them. And it turned out they were able to offer a 'sale' price that wasn't even reflected from the Liberty site. I didn't even notice or ask for that sale price! I would give it a zero if I could. They charged me $1456. for five new locks when all I needed was…read morea simple rekey. I wanted the locks rekeyed to the same key, not 5 new locks. He came in an unmarked car and no uniform. The receipt he gave me was a generic pad that you can get at the dollar store. No company address or logo. He didn't give me an estimate. He even asked for a tip! He left the boxes the locks came in. Two locks per set. He used three boxes. I checked the UPC on the boxes. Turns out they retail for about 15.00 each. He was at my house for one hour. Even with labor and service call and parts the cost should have only been about $200-300. I immediately called to complain about the charge. He first said that he didn't service my address. After repeated calls, he agreed to an $856. refund. To date I've only gotten back $300. This guy takes advantage of people. Avoid this company! He also generates his on reviews using Ai. He calls himself by various names: Ben, Benjamin, Rueben, Benyahim. He reinvents the company every year or two.
