Joseph Murray came out on a Saturday evening to jump my Yukon but my battery was shot. So I made an appointment for a tow on Sunday so I had time to figure out where to tow it. Lockout Legends - My Yukon - Towing Near Me

on 12/23/25 i called for roadside assistance through my AT&T service - Lockout legends took the assignment charged my $150 and never provided services. I was told by Travis when i did get a hold of them that they cancelled my request. i contacted my financial institution the moment they opened and informed them that services were not received for the charge and they credited my account, but today 3/12/26 i find that the merchant charged my account - again for services not received. I have filed a BBB complaint and will be going to social media about this incident read more

I was called a liar by the owner, through a BBB Complaint, not a surprise as he already showed me what type of business owner he is. It's also funny how the owner can reply to the good reviews but not my 1 star review. Don't Trust This Liar, as each day passes more and more people contact me about the same terrible service and dishonesty they experienced with this company. This all could've been avoided had, you just owned up to your company's mistake and handed me your insurance, but instead you chose to make me a liar and disregarded all of the damage that was done to my vehicle, by your truck, after your employee signed a statement admitting to fault, and you still call me the liar? Car wouldn't start and I had my roadside assistance through All State send me a tow truck and it was this Sleazy and untrustworthy company even 1 Star is too much for them, needless to say i didn't know about this company before and now I see why, my first and LAST TIME EVER LETTING THIS COMPANY TOW MY VEHICLE. The driver pulls up and starts lining up his tow truck with my vehicle and he backs into it multiple times, the first tap was a light tap but the second time he rocked my vehicle back and forth hard enough for the driver to ask if he hit it, "yes you definitely hit it". At this point im already unsure if I feel comfortable with this company i've had plent of tows and never have they ever backed up into my vehicle before loading it. They finally get it loaded and we make it 10 blocks away and as were coming to a stop my car rolls forward and smacks the back of the truck hard enough for me to feel it inside and whiplash my head. I turn around and i see my vehicle pushing against the back of the tow, he then throws it in park in the middle of the street and had to pull it off the back of their tow truck, causing my bumper to rip off the sides, paint chipping and is now hanging with a huge gap all across my front end, they are refusing to give me their insurance and cover the damages because they claim it's "just a couple clips that came loose and only thing that got damaged was my license plate/bracket. "Its a 6,000 pound vehicle running into the back of a tow truck going 25/30 mph of course theres gonna be damage when it it hits the bumper and the owner just sent out the surpervisor to "fix it" then refused to give me the companies insurance, when I told him it wouldn't work like that and that I will need to get the damages looked at by a body shop (which i dont get why they would refuse to give me their insurance it wasn't just 1 mistake it was multiple on their end and still denying responsibility for HITTING MY CAR 3 TIMES. How do you hit my car 3 TIMES and expect there not to be any damage done to my vehicle? Don't trust this company with any of your vehicles they AVOID RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGES CAUSED BY THEIR EMPLOYEES AND VEHICLES, and what's bad is they are denying responsibility when I was personally there the whole time witnessing everything as it happened and Documented everything, even got his driver to sign the statement I wrote before he left my house, imagine what they would hide from you if you weren't there. Our large van broke down at a super inconvenient time, Sean responded very quickly and was extremely helpful and compassionate. James also came and helped us as we have a larger vehicle, they gave us a ride to our hotel after dropping the van off at the mechanic. If I could give 0 stars I definitely would! Car broke down on the hwy about 3:45. I called roadside assistance and they assigned these people, why they assigned a company is still a mystery. I was told by roadside they have had several problems with this company and have reported it several times, to have them removed aa contracted but were told it was only them. I called to request an update after about 45 minutes, I had my daughter and granddaughter with me. I was told standard time was upto 1 1/2 hours, she said driver was already on his way. I asked if she could double check as it was hot and I didn't want the baby to have to wait long, I ended up calling Sherrif's office who came and took them home. I Waited Almost 2 hours, and it wasn't the coolest day of summer. I called for an update, I was told it would be another hour because their driver got another call. As I was talking to a "supervisor" I got a text message that they cancelled my tow. "Supervisor" came on the phone and said Volkswagen cancelled the tow. I informed her that the text message received by Volkswagen said Lockout Legends could no longer complete the job. "Supervisor" said I am not going to argue, my system says they cancelled it not us. She proceeded to talk to me like I was 2 years old and disconnected the call. They should have denied the request from the beginning instead of taking on more calls than what they could handle. I was also told I could not ride that I needed to uber my way back home... I live in a Rural Area.. we don't have uber. read more
