We were looking to move quickly on our purchase and Josh was recommended to us by our realtor and we quite relieved. He took his time during the inspection and made it all happen despite our tight timeline. He was able to fit us in his busy schedule. He showed us things that were normal, things to look out for in the future, and what should be repaired. He was very thorough and was very helpful in explaining things in a way that we could understand and things we that we can do ourselves. His report had pictures to help provide a visualization on what he was talking about and that really helped as we weren't able to keep track and remember everything he showed us. It was also nice to have on file to be able to check and make sure those items were addressed that we thought were most important. He even made time to talk with us later on in the evenings while knowing he was still working late into the night to probably create his reports. We were glad to have him as a resource. This inspection completely shut down our sale. He claimed there was an "active " leak in the attic. It wasn't raining that day so I don't know how there could have possibly been an active leak. He claimed all the flashing on the roof and around the chimney was cracked. We just had all the brick, chimney liner, and flashing on the roof around the chimney and all the vents replaced. We hired another inspector to come out. No signs of any leak or water whatsoever in the attic. Chimney and flashing perfect. I don't know what this dude was thinking but he screwed us over BIG time! read more
