While visiting Fayetteville, WV as part of our trip to New River Gorge National Park, we stumbled…read moreupon a sign for the Escape-A-Torium--and we're so glad we did! After finishing a hike and grabbing a bite to eat, we gave them a call to see if they had availability. To our surprise, they did, and they were able to fit us in last-minute. At first, only two of us were ready to take on the challenge, but a third family member joined in, and thankfully, the room we chose could accommodate 2-4 players. From the moment we stepped in, the theming was immersive and the puzzles were engaging--challenging enough to keep us thinking but not frustrating. The room master did a great job of providing just the right hints at the right time, keeping the experience exciting without giving too much away. We managed to escape with just 25 seconds to spare, which made for an incredible adrenaline rush! The cost was very reasonable, and honestly, this has been one of the most fun and memorable parts of our trip so far. If you're in the area and looking for something unique and engaging, definitely check out the Escape-A-Torium!

The guy was awesome (8/19 around 1 pm) We did the Scare Bnb and failed terribly. We had fun though! We had to redeem ourselves and went back again to do the Bunker which we passed - yay! Thanks to the gentle man working (8/18 around 7 pm). It was a great experience and surprisingly had a lot of fun! Thanks for a fun time!

LOVE this place! This is not our first escape room, but it is by far our favorite. Let's start…read morewith the staff. You couldn't ask for better people running a business. This was kind of a last minute choice since we were headed out of town and our previous engagement got canceled due to weather. I called and talked to Debbie (I think) who was more than happy to answer all my questions even though they weren't even open yet. Not only did she take the time to help us in our decision, she gave us some great suggestions for lunch and other things in the area. The staff that greeted us when we got there was just as welcoming, patient, and happy to help. The location was very clean and well put together. I like that you go into a separate room to hear the instructions, as this was not the case in an escape room we went to in Columbus. The room that was suggested for the kids was Break a Leg and it couldn't have been more perfect for us. There was plenty of problem solving for the adult/teenagers and lots of interaction for the kids. This one is fun for everyone! I really like the set up and the props. The clues were great and very challenging. There was quite a bit more to this room than we expected and was much better than some previous rooms we had been to. There was more humor involved compared to some of the dark or creepy rooms so this may not fit everyone's taste but we absolutely loved it. I brought four kids with me and the last escape rooms weren't super fun for the little ones - ages 7-19. This one was engaging and so much fun for the kids that they keep asking when we can go back. I don't think you'll be disappointed and don't be afraid to ask questions because the staff is super helpful!

Hands down one of the best haunts I've been to so far (and definitely the best of 2023 to date!…read more I came to this haunt with some low expectations - given that it's literally built in someone's yard - but I was so, so wrong. The line to get in was a bit long so we opted for the fast pass (totally recommend) and began our spooky journey after only about 5 minutes of waiting. Clearly this haunt was a labor of love. The attention to detail in all of the themed rooms were amazing and the actors (which were plentiful the evening we went) were giving it their all. You'll journey through a graveyard, hillbilly junkyard, through the underground, and much much more. At one point we event had to crawl through a hearse! Be warned - they will touch you in this haunt - so please keep in mind if you're not into that. Personally, I loved it as it really added to the creep factor for me. From start to finish (took about 30ish minutes to go through) we were screaming and giggling the whole time. As an added bonus, we opted to do their Last Ride which simulates a coffin's ride to the cemetery and being put 6 feet under. Would recommend this unique experience as well (only $5 or free with a PRINTED coupon from their Facebook). If you're in this area and looking for a frightful good time don't sleep on Fear on the Farm yall!

It was a totally immersive experience that had lots of scare actors . It took us about 35 minutes to walk through the entire haunted house . It was quite a sensory overload and you're never quite sure where to look . Loved spotting the cryptkeeper from Tales from the Crypt - the actor even nailed his voice ! Definitely recommend the express pass , it was a long line and we were able to skip past everyone . Also recommend the add - on experience coffin ride . It's called "your last ride" and you get inside a real coffin and it simulates what it's like to take your , um, last ride lol using audio and hydraulics. Also there's a camera inside the coffin so everyone can watch you ! It's so creative and quite an experience ! Highly recommend Fear on the Farm !
