Even though we are predominantly red fans, we thoroughly enjoyed their first pour--which happened to be a white--so much so that we bought a bottle of it on the spot! The following tastes were a variety of reds and so tasty with so many delicious choices. However, in the end, we also bought a bottle of the Cabernet, which was just so smooth. Gentle misters can be turned on to help keep one cool if needed. Toward the end of our tasting we met one of the winery owners, so were able to learn first-hand how decades earlier the family had established a foundry that cast pieces for artists from around the world, and had later expanded into wine-making. SERVICE: 5.0. Very attentive and considerate. Though we ended up not bringing our dog, they remembered that I had inquired (weeks earlier) if dogs were allowed and so had a doggy bowl of cold water waiting near our table. Thoughtful. WINE: 3.0. She not only suggested an alternate location, she went above and beyond and booked a reservation for us for the next day. They don't have a lot but what they have is high quality and crafted with care. What was really cool... was they had a rock as an example of the Rocks that are in the Rocks district. This area is covered in these rocks which are very heavy and big... and the vines seem to thrive in this environment. A Frenchman long ago saw this area and just knew that he could produce wines from grapes grown in this region.

They even do special events throughout the summer. Because of warm weather we prefer sparkling rosé. Smoky Rose cellars did not disappoint!
