My mom, a…read morenonsmoker, passed away and probably like most people in this position, they donate to local thrift stores. I first brought a couple boxes of teapots she had stored in her garage. After going through the donation drive thru I decided to take a trip inside and look around. They were immediately putting those teapots into a glass case in the store. As the women was putting them out I mentioned they were my mom's who had just passed away and she went on a tirade about how filthy they were and she had to wash them. She made me feel horrible but the funny thing is when I stopped there a week later they were all gone, sold! On another donate day, I had bags of mom's clothes and a few boxes of housewares, hard goods. When the guy outside noticed I was smoking in my car, he refused to take any of it, which was in my trunk. He said it all stunk like smoke and they didn't want it!! How it came directly from my mom's house and picked up smoke odor that quickly is beyond me. I went across the street to Goodwill and they took it all and thanked me. I have vastly changed my opinion of this store and am sorry I have ever donated anything there. I'm sure they made good money on all they things donated from mom, including furniture that they had no problem accepting.

Right away we were greeted by a sweet and bubbly employee and told what deals they had happening and she explained a little bit about the place. There's a check out desk near the back of the building and a painter actively working who was also very friendly. They didn't seem at all perturbed by little ones running around, they welcomed a family with little children and weren't nervous about them breaking anything (there's much to look at and potentially break!) Prices were higher but they're all local artists so I am absolutely not complaining. I got a book for my godchild that was signed by the local author as well as a cute travel puzzle for her birthday - I know she'll love it. I would love to check out their classes and wish I was more local to check out their live music on Saturdays too, such a warm and friendly place!

His repair failed after using the camera twice. He said to send it back. Gus has now had my camera since April 10, 2025 as I write this this review! Over a year!

You'll notice a…read moresurprising number of people who've had similar experiences: they bring their cameras in, weeks and months go by without any progress or communication, and in the end, their cameras are picked up without ever having been repaired. It's an infuriating experience. You should carefully consider if you want the same experience, because it will happen again, possibly to you, as it has to me. Although, my experience has been even worse. I dropped my camera off near the end of 2023. It worked fine, but the touch-sensitive articulating screen no longer responded to touch. Months went by without progress. Phone calls and emails went unanswered. Finally, by the end of the winter (2024), I was told that my camera had been misplaced but it was found and going to be repaired. Two weeks later I picked it up, and paid in full for the repair. A few days later I went to use the camera and discovered that not only was the articulating screen not repaired, the image on the screen was inverted, making the camera entirely unusable. I called and was told to drop it off at the drop off location in New Hope, which I did near the end of April, 2024. Near the end of June 2024, I started calling for a progress update. Even though I called during business hours and left my phone number, my calls were never answered or returned. That brings us to the middle of September, 2024. I still do not have my camera. Remember, I paid in full for the repair. I'm at a loss. My only choice is to drive all the way to Lindstrom, just to find out what has happened to my camera. It's been nearly a year... They have my money AND my camera and will not call me back. Do you really want to take the chance that this won't happen to you? Read the reviews that are like mine and you'll see my experience is not unusual. My next step is to report the camera as stolen and see if the Lindstrom Police can't get an answer for me. I urge you to avoid this place at all costs. I so regret doing business here.

North Branch just had a new overpass installed and the construction is mostly done. Very accessible if you are traveling in either North or South direction. - Some good deals to be had and for the most part there should be something for everyone albeit a slim selection of stores. - It's never so busy that you can't shop here w/o going crazy. Sure there are occasional busses coming from Canada pouring down for outlet shopping, but NOTHING like the Albertville Outlet Mall. I've never seen it unbearable here, most likely due to the size of the town and it being miles from the Twin Cities. Cons - No real place to eat at the mall itself. There are fast food places on either side of the interstate, but nothing once you've parked @ the mall. - Not the best selection of stores. Honestly, I really only go to the Gap outlet, occasionally the Nike store, and maybe a kitchen place. It's pretty barren. If you're used to the Albertville Outlet Mall, you will be disappointed.

And boy did they have deals. I happened to be in the holiday home decor section and my hands were full. There was a lady standing next to me and I mentioned to her that I should have grabbed a cart. She responded with "you always grab a cart". So I went and grabbed a cart and put my selections in the basket. I kept running into her in the other aisles. And every time I saw her she was interested in what I added to the basket. She was fun, nice lady. I got stuff for the house. I got stuff for work. And I guess I started my Christmas shopping today too. The grand total was just under $200. That was an expensive rest stop. Dang coffee bladder!
