I am using CenturyLink as a Quantum Fiber customer. The actual fiber internet service is good…read more Upload/Download speeds are quite good. However Quantum customer service is some of the worst I've experienced. I was having lots of problems with the Quantum provided 360 wifi pods. The problem was not the Internet service itself. Just the WiFi. So I returned the pods and installed my own WiFi system in home. This worked great and I returned the pods following Quantum instructions. There is NO WAY to remove the additional service of the wifi pods in your account. So I contacted Customer Service to ensure that the service was removed and I would no longer be charged for that. After a nearly 90 minute wait in a chat Queue, I told the service rep that I returned pods and UPS tracking gave me confirmation that they were recevied at Quantum. But the 360 Wifi was still in my account and I couldn't remove it my self. So Catherine (the Quantum CS person) said she removed it and I wouldn't be billed. Great! NOt terrible but the wait was a long time. I also gave feedback about very long wait times. Also when waiting in the chat, they don't have any audible alert letting you know you are up. So you can easily miss it if you are doing other things. Anyway, in my most recent bill, I'm still getting billed for a service that I don't need. Nothing was actually done and I have had to wait again for now 50 minutes in their queue to get something resolved that should have been taken care of. Get the service. It works well. Just don't pay for 360 Wifi. It's expensive and you will get better results with a WiFi router and a range extender. Quantum CS is absolutelyt terrible.

They sold their fiber for our area to Quantum, but the new company says it only bought the lines…read morebut they could hook me up. Centurylink, which denies I have an account but provides wireless service to our house, continued to collect the $40 fee without sending a paper bill or a wireless statement other than for $40 monthly. Now they want $18 late payment fees because they raised the rates to $45 and claim I owe them money. I have communicated with the State of Oregon Attorney General's fraud team on this matter.

Apparently AT&T locks devices and even after you've paid they won't unlock the device. Took a lot of my time and Verizon folks' time to resolve this. Because of AT&T and had no phone service for more than 2 days. Even when I had "service" the performance in Portland was so bad I often couldn't reach my wife. Sometimes I need help when I'm shopping and it's frustrating to that with AT&T I couldn't contact her. Also awful AT&T reception all over NW Portland in popular areas like Slabtown and Wallace Park. Verizon by contrast has amazing network service and very high speeds.

First of all when I first got them I used my phone as a trade in they they ended up making me pay…read morefull price for my new phone we were new costumers BTW but their reasoning was that my device I sent them arrived a day late I sent it 1 week before it was due that was first issue with them second was recently we fell behind on bills and such because of Trump and loosing our food stamps for several weeks I have 2 kids 1 is mentally disabled and in preschool anyways I called customer service and told them that my phones screen wasn't working but I can't afford a replacement phone its a $100 deductible they said after I pay that they will take $100 off my bill we'll now they are saying they can't do that and our phones are now about to get shut off because they promised me something and now aren't able to fallow through and screwing me over. Why is it that people love to screw people over on the holidays? If I could say no stars I would. And on top of all this we pay almost $300 a month for 2 phone and half the time I have no service just walking around my apartment out of nowhere! The is not ok what they are doing! Worst mistake of my life switching to verizon nothing but issues and trouble!

READ THIS FIRST IF YOU'RE HAVING ISSUES WITH FIBERSPHERE:…read more From an insider, here's how it works at Goobersphere. If you've attempted all of the suggestions that they give you on the phone: 1. Don't expect them to call you back within 24-48 hours if they say they will. They have zero intention to. They never ever will. 2. If they say they will "escalate" it to someone at a higher position with more knowledge this is also a complete lie. They are trained to say that, but it means absolutely nothing. They all work in the same place with the same rank and knowledge. 3. If they tell you to call back within a few hours they are just pawning you off to the next person on the next shift. Again there is no other higher qualified folk there that can help. So what do you do after all of that nonsense? If you try all of the suggestions they have and they don't work, request for a technician. What he did only cost 25 bucks (cash, lol). If they refuse like they did with us a few times, then wait about 8 hours until the next shift and request it from the next employee. I hope this saves someone the countless hours we wasted the last month. Now this (below) was my review before learning the info above (although it was pretty obvious to begin with): This is my first time using Fibersphere. We're at almost three weeks and counting and still no internet. They have a handful of questions they ask us to try each time and then say "we will have someone call you within 24-48 hours" and they never do. We are in a endless cycle of spending about 45 minutes every day to fix this. We rely on internet daily for our jobs so this has been pretty not so convenient. No one ever of course uses Comcast or Centrilink nor Fibersphere because they actually want to. They use it because the options are limited. CEO's of internet provider companies should be in jail. How about instead of buying extra yachts you pay your employees better and train them so that they can actually fix things? No excuse for something like this to take three weeks...

Fibersphere is the internet service that my HOA provides, so I did not have a choice in selecting…read morethem as my ISP. I just had my internet repaired after 6.5 days of it not working. I called the first day and was informed it would be fixed within 24 hours. Called the second day, and I was put on hold for over an hour and then lost connection. Called back, and I was informed it would take up to 72 hours. Called after 72 hours, and I was informed I would receive a call from a technician that same day. No one called. I called again on Monday (day 5) and then I was informed they would dispatch a technician on day 6. I had to leave work early to make sure I could make the appointment. No one showed up, no one contacted me, I check the internet and it's fixed. Besides that horribly frustrating experience, the internet actually works fine for the most part, except when I lose lots of data packets occasionally. The customer support reps were very friendly. The problem is that it's impossible to get in touch with a technician with the authority/capabilities to repair the issue.
