Cute spot for a quick burger! I wouldn't say these burgers are like a nice juicy burger but more like a flat patty with a lot of options for toppings. Their menu is burgers one price, fries another price and if you add toppings another price. Everything is separate unless you get one of their signature burger creations (which still doesn't include fries). I really enjoyed the burger here and It was great they offered a Gluten free bun option. My favorite are the sweet potato fries with the cinnamon sugar and dipping sauce. So good!! Searching for restaurants in Bayshore here on Yelp I stumbled upon this place. Once my boyfriend gave us the okay to go, we were in there like swimwear! This place is fantastic! Delicious food, chill and comfortable atmosphere and great prices! The design is very modern and cool. I love how you can see into the area where the cooks are in the back and they can see out as well. I ordered the blue bacon burger and it was so tender, juicy and flavorful. They had the standard stuff but also some farther out there items. For instance, I got the sweet potato fries with cheese and pulled pork. I mean, what the heck is that? Great food. My friend had and devoured the Return of the Mac burger and sweet potato fries. I had the Atomic, because bacon does in fact make everything better. Mine was on a Gluten Free bun which tastes like a gluten free bun but a bit better bc it was toasted perfectly. Went in tonight with my girlfriend and family. Got a single burger with Pulled Pork and some Cole Slaw on the side. The Slaw was decent but very bland and had a strong Green Pepper taste. The burger was good, but the Pulled Pork was very dry. Everyone's food seemed pretty good overall but I'm not sure I'd make the trip back out to Bayshore for this place solely. Pros; the atmosphere is nice and the interior is nicely decorated and put together. It's spacious and comfortable. I sat at the bar, the local tap selection is good and the staff is friendly. I had the truffle fries with Local Sauce that were pretty good and a local tap beer. Cons; well this is a BURGER place and their burger is "okay" at best. Having it be my first time I went with what was recommended by three members of the staff, the PB&B Burger (peanut butter and bacon). I was warned that it's an interesting combo but it's something I was open to trying. First off these are standard flat patties that aren't cooked to order because they're already too thin. The burger was served on a potato bun which was soft and good. However I wouldn't have even known there was peanut butter on this if it wasn't in the description. In addition to the low quality beef they use they also use poor quality bacon. It was that thin, translucent, cold, chewy bacon- reminded me of that Oscar Meyer stuff that sits on the shelf in the grocery store. All in all I wouldn't tell people they "have" to go here and I wouldn't return on my own again. Having this be a burger place, they should really step up their burger game. read more

I will say this, The women and the guys that work at this joint are an attractive young group. The place itself is very nice and hip. Aesthetically this place is excellent as is the food. That said there portions are small. I had the return of the Mack burger and the patty was as thick as a Big Mac patty I was surprised at that. I asked for extra bacon on my burger and I'm glad I did because had I not it seems like there would have only been one strip. Thankfully the Mac and cheese had good flavor. The bun is small and good it matches the burger. The Drinks are weak but it's a NY burger joint not a Vegas burger joint. For the amount they charge it should be better or at least in a bigger cup. Great addition to Bay Shore! I love their focus on local suppliers for their meats, booze & even ice cream. I've tried a few different burgers so far and their Blue Ribbon is definitely a favorite. They have lots of tasty options for sides too including, but not limited to, fried horseradish pickle chips and sea salt & truffle fries. I live locally (no pun intended) and recently started using their app to place take out orders. Had the hipster burger (a burger with fried bologna) and the hangover burgers (burger with fried egg), each were delicious, perfectly cooked and seasoned. the truffle fries are great, but the best side dish is the baked beans. Ordinarily i wouldn't even consider them as a side item, but ever since the owner walked us out a sample on our first visit, i'm hooked. Try the cornbread too. quite yummy. Stopped in for a burger and a beer. First visit, but my family likes the place, so I figured I would give it a whirl. The place: is pretty cool and inviting. Good combination of table types. The bartender: greeted my quickly and was polite and helpful. The food: I had the local burger, which was very good, cooked correctly and served hot. The brand they burn onto the bun was super cool, and unique. Makes no difference in taste, but it ain't all about taste. The fries were outstanding. Some of my favorites from anyplace I've been. The beer selection: Here's where the place goes off the rail. Good selection of beers, if all you want are light, IPAs or flavored beers. I drink, browns, blacks and stouts. they offered nothing on tap in those categories. The REALLY need to rethink selection. Was very excited when I saw the sign going up for this place. Finally was able to drop in yesterday and glad I did. The space had a nice open feel to it - trendy yet industrial. We got seated along the back row of banquet tables if you choose to sit on the booth seat side and your short like me you may feel the need for a booster seat though - wished the table was a little lower to the ground for me. Service was friendly and quick - my husband had the rum punch cocktail and I had a spike iced tea drink both super delicious and not overpowering. Thumbs up to their bartenders! He ordered a make your own burger with chili cheese fries and their house dipping sauce I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with sea salt truffle oil fries and a garlic aioli dipping sauce. My husband felt the burgers were kinda thin but they did taste good - he enjoyed the chili fries but their house dipping sauce wasn't anything special. I myself enjoyed my meal much more - the pulled pork sandwich was one of the best I've had. The sauce was sweet but smokey and the pork tender. The coleslaw was crispy, creamy and a great topping to the pork. The bun didn't fall apart at all and it was delicious. The sandwich came with their version of baked beans which basically was the same "chili" they put on the cheese fries my husband got and I loved it. Meaty and full of BBQ flavor - I liked dipping the cornbread muffin it came with in it. I literally should of not ordered the fries since the sandwich came with the beans and corn muffin and anyway fries were ok nothing to write home about. Next time I would opt for the sweet potatoes fries that the couple sitting next to us got and they smelled divine! All in all I think as long as they keep up with the good service, good ingredients and wonderful cocktails they should become a great staple to the growing restaurant scene in Bayshore. read more

This place is legit. They are making some great drinks, affordable food and in a fun atmosphere. I tried an Atomic burger and Smokey(?). Both were pretty good. I'd probably go with the same next time. The prices were perfect. I definitely need two burgers this size if I'm really hungry. So at 6 and change a burger it was well worth it. My only suggestion/complaint would be that they use bigger cups for some of their cocktails. The rum punch specifically. Given the amount of ice, size of glass, you don't get a whole lotta drink for $9. Other then that, their drink menu is pretty awesome. It's new and people are flocking here so expect a wait if you come during prime time. We had a 30 minute wait but turn around was fast, we sat in 15. Will be back often. read more

The glutton in me cries for Local! I especially love their Bleu Ribbon and Return of the Mac burgers, and if you're red meat free, try their crunchy, and moist The Captain fried chicken sandwich. Their Sea Salt and Truffle Fries with Garlic Aioli, are the perfect addition to any entree sandwich. Don't leave without a black and white milkshake or Boylan soda. Fried pickles left something to be desired. The battering was great BUT they use deli pickles instead of a more classic gerkin. The flavor of the batter and pickles conflicted slightly. Waitress was very friendly and the atmosphere is industrial. I really recommend this place for a group of friends to hang and watch sports or if you want a great burger in general.
