It's good price-wise in a pinch and serves the purpose of grabbing a decent meal at the hotel without being overpriced as many hotel restaurants tend to be. Typical reliable bar grub: Fish & Chips, Burgers, Wings, Salads, Fries, etc. Plus good cocktails, wine and beer choices for you and your 700 colleagues after a full day of meetings and workshops. One big disappointment was the fish and chips. When we got them, we thought we got chicken strips because of the way they're prepared. So visually we were not impressed. My crab cakes were tiny, but I have to say they were actually delicious. I just wish they were a little bit bigger. Chicken wings were just OK. Our server Hana was wonderful, but I feel like she is either new or is just very shy in her position as a server. There were a lot of hard-working women there in the restaurant this evening and they were all amazing. We just wish the food could've been uplifted just a little bit. read more

The fish and chips? Yes ma'am. Yes sir! Delicious. Fried to perfection. Add a little hot sauce to the sauce that they give you. Fire! The service was polite, knowledgeable, and fast. Great rapport. Lobbibar, in the lobby of the Hyatt Regency - Crystal City, it actually pretty darn good. It's a nice and clean hotel restaurant and bar with a decent menu selection and beverage options. Employees aren't the friendliest but they're not rude by any means, just efficient. I ordered the roast beef sandwich and was very pleased with my choice. The bread tates fresh and was toasted perfectly, the veggies were fresh, the cheese delicious, and so much roast beef! For your side, you're given the option of fries or a salad. I went with former and they were pretty darn good. Next time I stay at this hotel, I'll definitely be making it a point to eat here again. I was actually planning on ordering a sandwich to go the following day but they're only open for dinner and that totally ruined my day! read more

Overall, the food was really good, the service was great (5 stars), but the one appetizer we ordered - the spinach and artichoke dip, the side of bread was inedible. It was so over toasted, so dry, and was not at all what we were expecting to get. The dip itself was incredibly flavorful, but I wish the kitchen would pay closer attention to the quality of the item being dipped as well. It would do much better if the bread had a crunchy outside and was still soft inside. The feel of the restaurant is a bit noisy as you are located in the Lobby of the hotel. With 2 floors open both above and below you, noise can definitely carry. read more

This bar restaurant is located inside the Hyatt Regency Crystal City location on the first floor. While it has nice simple aesthetics and relatively good service, it could benefit from more staffing. I arrived the night before a convention taking place that weekend. The bar only had a few patrons that Thursday night. But I I only saw one bartender/waiter working and it took about 10 minutes after I sat down before she was able to assist me. Not her fault, seemed like she was the only one making drinks and taking orders. I had the NY steak sandwich, which honestly wasn't too bad, though $20 was a stretch but that's hotel food prices for you. There was plenty of juicy steak bits and onions/cheese in it. I also got the turkey avocado club the following day upstairs at Cinnabar (they serve the same food for lunch). The turkey sandwich was actually better than expected, plenty of turkey meat and avocado. Overall tasted great and satisfied my hunger. The area isn't the most accessible in terms of food options so if you don't want to walk/drive out to eat, Lobbibar is a solid choice if you want something fast and right inside the hotel. read more

Brutal. Do not go here. I went after a work meeting and got a Titos and Soda. Cost was $35. . Yes, for one drink. Another person in our group got a happy hour glass of wine- was charged $22, even though it was $12 on happy hour list. When she spoke up, they adjusted her charge and credited her back the $12 difference. Food was weak. I guess in summary, this is your average hotel bar (not good food, not good atmosphere, and not good drinks), but they are charging Capital Grille prices. The next day we went to the Hilton a few doors down. Great happy hour, great prices, and better food and atmosphere. Do not waste your time here, go to the Hilton or another place near by. read more

Located inside the hotel. We stopped by for some drinks because they were open. Servers were very nice. Food was good. It took a while for our food to come out but it was super busy so it was understandable. I was coming from work and saw the Hyatt all I saw was a beautiful ambiance and two places that said bar! lol. Not sure what kind of bar but I was gonna find out!!... so I made my way to something called the Lobbibar which was set up very nicely, tables weren't elbow to elbow and I LOOOVE the tables gave space esp in this pandemic era!. I sat down and was helped immediately which acknowledgement is a BIG thing whenever I'm out to enjoy the day or night scene. The lady took my order which was a cherry coke made from the bar! Yes you can tell the difference than a fountain soda. She gave me a menu to look at and the other bartending ladies were helpful checking to make sure I was good on a refill etc while she stepped away to help a guy sitting to my right as we conversed about should he get the salmon or short ribs both selections are full of flavor!! He chose the short ribs!..The vibe overall of the lobbibar was definitely good peace vibes no matter you take a Friend , a date , Coworkers. It was very neat, clean on down to the bathroom and polished reasonably priced menu items. You can definitely tell this establishment as a whole keeps itself up and grand!!.. I've eaten/drank here twice in 2 days, and am averaging out my experiences. Night #1, we arrived at the hotel after 11 pm, hungry, hot, and tired. Lobbibar was the only place open, and was closing soon. We ordered drinks and food. Cannot recommend the Sweet Potato Totchos enough! Delicious! My friend thoroughly enjoyed her flatbread, too. The highlight of that evening was the Bartender, Sabrina. She is a gem! She is friendly, funny, and such a joy -- she really shines! Take some time to chat with her! You'll love her, too! 5 stars! (I can't say the same for the second night. Our cocktail waitress was busy, true, but we felt like a bother to her. Sabrina was off.). 3 stars. read more

Ugggh! Late night food but limited and $$ menu. They would not make any substitutions and left melted cheese on my burger even after having a discussion about no cheese. The space is nice, well-lit but not overly bright, with a couple very long communal tables near the bar. Also, several settees and small tables and chairs. The bartenders are courteous although not always efficient. Prices are reasonable for a Hyatt bar and much better than Socci in the Renaissance across the street, especially for single malt scotch. A small food menu, with good sandwiches and salads. My favorite aspect is the outside patio, where one can enjoy a cigar with a drink (but bring your own cigar). However, it is not heated. read more

In town on vacation and stopped here to grab an after dinner drink. ... That quickly turned into closing the bar down with the staff. Sabrina, the bartender, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Probably the worst meal I've ever been served. The Texas steak is really brisket sliced thin like beef jerky and cut along the grain instead of across it and then smothered under cheap bbq sauce. REALLY disgusted by what I saw . I was there with a friend Saturday night, July 21, 2018. While waiting for our orders we noticed that the DIRTY glasses, silverware AND dishes, some filled with leftover food - were being placed on the same counter as the INCOMING FOOD ORDERS!!! The wait staff were sticking their fingers into several dirty glasses at once to pick them up, and then USING THOSE SAME DIRTY HANDS, to pick up the incoming orders!!! We saw a covered dish in the middle of those dirty dishes and glassware and found out that it was my friend's order that had been sitting in that mess for five minutes. Love the Lobbibar! Being a frequent guest, I love the familiarity of the staff, the food offerings, and the seating options. This is usually my after hours work area where I plug in and try to get some work done amidst the surrounding hubbub. One of the things that makes this place interesting is the variety of folks one can find in the lounge at any given time, the Hyatt CC being home to so many meetings and conventions. Never. Dull moment nd the staff is attentive and friendly. Only downside is a lack of 'working' seating, be prepared to sit back and sink in or have a good gap between you and your table unless you happen to snag one of the two long tables next to the bar. read more

Drink prices were way too expensive. Service, however, was good. I sat outside on a gorgeous night and enjoyed the company.

Nice ambient little bar with a pretty decent happy hour that runs until 6p even on the weekends. Draft beers are only $3, and they are good beers like Starr Hill's Love (not bud light). They also have a good happy hour food menu that includes crab hush puppies. You can sit at the bar or in the couches or even at the high top bar that has power outlets. read more

Had a couple beers and sliders. Can't mess up bottled beer if it is at least cold but the sliders.... the chicken was half a chicken strip ( very over cooked) and the BBQ was soaked in vinegar. It came with a very small side of chips. Recommend just having the beer. read more
