    Roast Beef Sandwich

Lobbibar, in the lobby of the Hyatt Regency - Crystal City, it actually pretty darn good. It's a nice and clean hotel restaurant and bar with a decent menu selection and beverage options. Employees aren't the friendliest but they're not rude by any means, just efficient. I ordered the roast beef sandwich and was very pleased with my choice. The bread tates fresh and was toasted perfectly, the veggies were fresh, the cheese delicious, and so much roast beef! For your side, you're given the option of fries or a salad. I went with former and they were pretty darn good. Next time I stay at this hotel, I'll definitely be making it a point to eat here again. I was actually planning on ordering a sandwich to go the following day but they're only open for dinner and that totally ruined my day!

I was coming from work and saw the Hyatt all I saw was a beautiful ambiance and two places that said bar! lol. Not sure what kind of bar but I was gonna find out!!... so I made my way to something called the Lobbibar which was set up very nicely, tables weren't elbow to elbow and I LOOOVE the tables gave space esp in this pandemic era!. I sat down and was helped immediately which acknowledgement is a BIG thing whenever I'm out to enjoy the day or night scene. The lady took my order which was a cherry coke made from the bar! Yes you can tell the difference than a fountain soda. She gave me a menu to look at and the other bartending ladies were helpful checking to make sure I was good on a refill etc while she stepped away to help a guy sitting to my right as we conversed about should he get the salmon or short ribs both selections are full of flavor!! He chose the short ribs!..The vibe overall of the lobbibar was definitely good peace vibes no matter you take a Friend , a date , Coworkers. It was very neat, clean on down to the bathroom and polished reasonably priced menu items. You can definitely tell this establishment as a whole keeps itself up and grand!!.. I'll return to have the fish & chips Until then Thank You Hyatt Regency & The Lobbibar

I've eaten/drank here twice in 2 days, and am averaging out my experiences. Night #1, we arrived at the hotel after 11 pm, hungry, hot, and tired. Lobbibar was the only place open, and was closing soon. We ordered drinks and food. Cannot recommend the Sweet Potato Totchos enough! Delicious! My friend thoroughly enjoyed her flatbread, too. The highlight of that evening was the Bartender, Sabrina. She is a gem! She is friendly, funny, and such a joy -- she really shines! Take some time to chat with her! You'll love her, too! 5 stars! (I can't say the same for the second night. Our cocktail waitress was busy, true, but we felt like a bother to her. Sabrina was off.). 3 stars.

Drink prices were way too expensive. Service, however, was good. I sat outside on a gorgeous night and enjoyed the company.

While the clubs used to be spacious with decent food and drink offerings and excellent service, the clubs have become much busier with fewer seats available and average food and drink options. It seems that everyone has access to an Admirals Club nowadays and brings their entire families. With that said, this particular lounge is one of the larger locations I have been in (at the DCA E-gates), and there are many places within the lounge to relax, do work, grab a snack, or anything else. In fact, for such a large lounge, there were surprisingly open seats here and there where I'm used to smaller lounges without any open seats. There is comfortable seating as well as bar seating and table seating. Also over the last year, I've begun to see the efforts made to improve the Admirals Club membership which includes complimentary hot food throughout the day from soups, Mac and Cheese, sandwiches, meatballs, and breakfast items (not all at once though). There are charcuterie offerings, dessert trays, a salad bar, hot and cold non-alcoholic drinks, snacks, and then house drinks. You can pay more for premium drinks and prepared meals. This particular lounge experienced quite a special refresh a few years back, and it looks and feels like no other Admirals Club I have been to. It has more of a premium look with wood accents and soft colors. There is a nice, large fireplace in the middle of one of the lounges, a mother's room for nursing, and an increased selection of hot foods. They had a waffle station sponsored by the AAdvantage Executive credit card where you could select your own toppings as it is prepared the way you want it. One of the two wings features a buffet, bar, and seating ideal for dining and being productive while the other wing features more of a relaxing atmosphere. Access to the lounge is easy to get whether through the Citi Executive World Mastercard with free access for you and up to two guests. You can also pay $175 for up to three authorized users each receiving their own lounge access (with up to two guests). Also, One World alliance flyers with a certain status can access Admirals Clubs. There are also Flagship Lounge and Flagship First Dining locations, which offer much more than just Admirals Clubs. I'm confident that making it easy to get Admirals Club memberships has led to lounges being overcrowded though now that you have to pay for authorized users instead of getting them for free in recent years, that may help. You can also redeem AAdvantage miles for membership or access to the Admirals Club. I look forward to checking this lounge out again and possibly the D gates lounge which is being renovated currently on a future layover at DCA.

Since we travel with our cats, the smaller side rooms away from the main seating area are a huge plus. They give us a quieter, semi-private space with less commotion, which helps keep the cats calm before a flight. The lounge has all the basics you'd want: coffee machines, drip coffee, a cereal station, continental breakfast options, and a hot food station. The food quality is decent for an airport lounge, and the staff does a good job keeping everything stocked and clean even during busy times. There are also plenty of outlets for charging devices, the Wi-Fi is reliable, and the bathrooms are consistently clean. The only downside is that this lounge feels a little dated compared to the newer Admirals Club at the E Gates. Still, the pet-friendly atmosphere and quieter layout keep us coming back.

Flavor was tasty. Still. It landed more decent than memorable. Like a hotel-bar version of Philly energy. Respectable. Not dangerous. Not the thing you chase across town. The burger was decent. Straight down the middle. No big swing. No real miss. It had that familiar lobby-restaurant comfort where you know exactly what you are getting before it hits the table. Solid enough for hunger. Not enough for a speech. Background character food with main-character service nearby. The fries were ehhh. Warm filler energy. They did not ruin anything. They also did not bring much to the table. Needed more crisp. More salt. More reason. Fries should have a little attitude. These were just present. The coffee save was the moment. They ran out of cold brew and the bartender still found a way. Improvised. Built something with what he had. And it worked. That matters. That is hospitality with hands. Not excuses. Not "we're out." More like "I got you." Very rare. Very noticed. They were understaffed. You could feel it. But the bartender carried the room. Recs ready. Ideas ready. Actually gauged our tastebuds instead of throwing out random menu items. He made the place better than the food. I would come back just for him. No question. The vibe is hotel restaurant meets lobby bar. Clean. Easy. A little mid on the plate. Dear reader, The…read moreCenturion Lounge at DCA is a very civilised way to begin a trip and, in my view, one of the more enjoyable airport lounges to spend time in. A number of recent reviews praise the lounge for its attractive design, comfortable seating, strong food and drink program, and thoughtful amenities, and that all feels quite fair. It is in Terminal 2 near the south security checkpoint, and the lounge's own materials describe it as a spacious, elegant place to relax, refresh, and have a cocktail before a flight. What I especially love are the wellness shots, the coffee machines, and the open bar. Those little wellness shots feel like the sort of optimistic airport decision one ought to make before boarding, and the coffee setup is genuinely excellent if one needs to become a person again before takeoff. The bar is also a very strong point in its favour. American Express highlights its curated cocktail, wine, and non-alcoholic drink selection, and that polish absolutely comes through. Everyone is also very nice, which makes a difference. Add in the comfortable atmosphere and the feeling that you can actually pause for a moment before flying, and it all makes for a thoroughly pleasant pre-flight ritual. A proper little oasis at DCA.

The lounges that I've been to have been because of travel companions. The Amex Lounge was no different! My sweet friend booked breakfast in Arlington, the Pentagon area that is what he said. When my uber picked me up, the app said I was heading to the Amex Lounge at the airport. I laughed because I thought I was eating at the airport and airport food isn't always the best. I thought our weekend was starting off odd. But I don't complain and go with the flow, so if you like it, I love it. I had my bags because we always do staycations, so with my bag in tow he meets me at the uber upon drop-off and says our dinner reservations are in Florida, hope you don't mind that's why I had you pack your bags. What a surprise. He says we have time to go to the Amex lounge to grab breakfast before we take off. I am speechless, literally speechless. We grab our tickets and head straight to the lounge. Wow! Okay so I've been to the Capital One Lounge and that was great but honestly AMEX is killing it! The food was actually really good! Bar is awesome! Everything was clean! It's newer so it's phenomenal! I've been told I need lounge access for as much as I travel. I immediately got on my phone to search to get the AMEX card, that's how nice this place was. Luckily he asked what I was doing on my phone. I said I need to be able to come here all year long so I'm going to throw the flag in and get a card. He laughed and said it would be easier just to add me to his account. And just like that, I'm a AMEX card holder! The card came in 3 business days. I'll be coming to this airport early! And will be looking forward to traveling this year to visit all the AMEX lounges. Amex is the way to go! Oh and a little life hack, our plan never works. Gods plan does! Grateful.
