My parents, who are both older and in poor health, placed their trust in your agency and the loan officer assigned to them. I assisted them throughout the process to ensure clarity and accuracy. During the application process, your representative repeatedly assured my parents that the loan was good to go. Based on these assurances, they proceeded with the required appraisal and paid a fee of $900.00. Despite these guarantees, the loan did not fund and did not close. At no point were my parents informed of any risk that the loan might not be approved or that the appraisal fee would be non‑refundable under these circumstances. They were led to believe the loan was secured and that the appraisal was simply a procedural step. As a result of this misrepresentation, my parents--elderly, vulnerable, and acting in good faith--have suffered a financial loss of $900.00. This is unacceptable and does not reflect ethical lending practices, especially when dealing with seniors who rely heavily on the honesty and professionalism of the agent assisting them. Terrible business practices.

They truly went above and beyond by recording detailed video walkthroughs of homes and doing FaceTime sessions so we could feel confident about every property we considered. What really stood out was how much time they took to help us understand each neighborhood, including the pros and cons from their honest perspective. They always made us feel like a priority. Matt made the financial side of the process unbelievably easy and was extremely diligent throughout closing. He caught mistakes from the title company that we never would have noticed ourselves, and his attention made us feel much better. Even after closing, Matt and Lindsey continued helping us by connecting us with trustworthy contractors for work on our new home. That level of service and care is rare to find. We are so grateful for everything they did for our family and would absolutely recommend them to anyone buying a home, especially if you're relocating from out of state. When the time comes to sell our house, there's no question we'll be using Matt and Lindsey again!

Send me a letter dressed up to look like something official, complete with "NOTICE DATE" and my county name printed on the top, deceptively looking like it's something serious. A jury duty summons or a red light camera ticket, or some other kind of government notice that shouldn't be ignored. So of course, I open it because who would trash something that looks that official. And inside? Spam. A pitch disguised as urgency, telling me that "You may now have access to certain benefits through your current FHA loan". Not important. Not legitimate. Just marketing dressed up as a scare tactic. If your business model relies on tricking people into opening mail that looks like a legal notice, that's not clever. It's disrespectful. United Mortgage Lending chose to waste my time and my patience with a deceptive mailer that pretends to be something it's not. I get plenty of junk mail, but at least most companies aren't hiding the fact that they're sending bulk mail. This one went out of its way to imitate something official, and alone earns a solid no from me. If this is how they try to get new customers, I can only imagine how they'd treat someone who actually signs up. [Review 820 of 2026 - 486 in Michigan - 26001 overall]
