It's located right in downtown Algonquin and it's "house" so it adds to the charm. There are many different parties to choose from, but each one includes dress-up and a tea party. You can add makeup and hair for additional cost and each party has varying add-ons so the cost will vary, but the cost is very reasonable. This is not a place where parents stay for the event as the place cannot accommodate that many people (I def did not mind that aspect), so be aware of that. I brought my camera and told the parents I would take lots of pics and for them to provide me their email addresses so that I could forward them once uploaded. Once the girls arrive, they go upstairs to where there are racks of clothes, shoes, and many accessories to choose from with all sizes. After the girls have made their final selections, they take a picture then head to their tea party room. There, they have princess tea (which is sprite dyed pink I believe), cookies, marshmallows, cracker/pretzel mix, and cupcakes. They sing Happy Birthday there as well. After that, they change back into their clothes and go downstairs to open presents. Rebecca is a saint and does an excellent job with the party and the girls. I would def recommend this place for your next party.

Now after attending, I can say that this spot really exceeded expectations. One of the best things about this spot was having a large variety of different areas for guests to spread out and socialize. This led to a much more relaxed atmosphere for talking than most weddings that I've attended (I'm not huge into dancing). Even throughout the afternoon and evening, it was very nice to be able to enjoy appetizers on the beautiful rooftop deck, enjoy music and dancing on the dance floor, while still being able to carry on a conversation in the large main dining room -- or head downstairs to lounge around to avoid the crowds and noise. As I attended for a family wedding, I was also able to utilize the generously sized suites that had more than enough room for everyone to bring items they needed and have space to get ready for the event. The Haight has done the look of a rustic venue better than most places that I've seen. One thing that I really appreciated is that the look is rustic, but the facilities themselves are in great shape and modern. There were also plenty of great photo spots all around the venue that were lit nicely and contributed to guests having plenty of photo opportunities that they could create on their own. For those who were looking to rest, I did enjoy having sofas and softer cushioned chairs available to relax in. Overall, excellent venue that I would love to attend another wedding in the future. A beautiful facility with friendly service and lots of space to move around make this a great gathering spot.

There truly is nowhere else that will give the same experience or the same level of service from Kari Haight or her assembled team of fairy god mothers. I'm tearing up thinking about it. From the start, Kari decorated the entrance lobby with photos of us and our families, and it was just such a thoughtful and special touch. The outdoor aisle and rooftop deck is unreal, and if you're getting married in fair weather it's SO pretty with the lights. The reception area- WOW. The vintage lights and hanging greens were gorgeous. They set up everything so perfectly that I felt like I was on a movie set. The dance zone is also a great spot by the bar and they keep the rooftop open so you can take breather and fresh air after dancing. I'm telling you, this place has everything you'd want for your wedding day! Finally-Kari has a great team, she and her staff and vendors not only give top of the line service and coordination, but they were so kind and took attention to every detail. So I'd definitely suggest going with her preferred vendors, they know what they're doing and then some. Also-I had a veil emergency and Kari raced to the rescue by providing me with one the day of! There's just nowhere or no one else that'll go above and beyond the same way.

We were impressed…read morewith all the great costumes and interaction with the crowd that we took his information down immediately afterwards. He brings with him a bunch of props for himself and the audiance to put on during specific songs. Think YMCA but he brings hats people can wear. He comes up and leads the whole audience too and its all really great fun. This DJ will not let your wedding guests go without dancing. We then were months away from our own wedding and what happens? We go to another wedding and he is the DJ AGAIN. We were so excited. He was still the same. Just as fun if not better. We decided then that we had to have him at our own wedding. Our wedding was fantastic. He had all the props, he led the crowd in a train line to get them out on dance floor. He did all the introductions and did fantastic with it all. He was patient and careful when it came to name pronounciations and introcution order. Also with selecting the songs, he has a website that was very easy to use. He also remains in close communication all the way up to and after the wedding day. He made is feel really confident in him the whole time. Also, I need to say that he had other people with him at the wedding and he used them to also get the guests pumped up and dancing but also to film the reception. After the reception he gave us a highlights video that was honestly really great. They definitely captured the best moments. I have honestly yet to go to a wedding with a better and more fun DJ. He really stands out from the rest.

We received so many compliments from…read moreguests who had fun dancing, and we noticed and appreciated the time and care that Damian took to make our reception an amazing night we'll always remember. From the very first meeting we noticed Damian was different than other DJs we had met with - he attentively made note of comments we made throughout our initial conversation, and was most interested in hearing what would make our night special. This was refreshing after meeting with other DJs who tried to push their own style or agenda with "rules" about how many songs the bride/groom should select. Music is very important to us and hearing/dancing to our favorite songs was a critical part of our vision for the day. Despite a very lengthy spreadsheet of songs with rankings and categories, Damian graciously accepted our requests to have all songs come from our list or be filtered by a trusted family member. Furthermore, he came prepared with all our special requests ready to roll - including perfectly timed movie audio clips and excerpts from uncommon songs. Thanks to Damian, the flow of the evening was awesome. From cocktails to speeches, dinner music to special dances, Damian kept us on track. Most importantly, Damian was able to transform our playlist into a fun evening where the dance floor was full. Whether we were slow dancing, singing along to classic oldies or jamming to hits from the 90s/2000s, Damian was able to read the crowd, adapt and keep guests engaged. Put simply, he paced the evening flawlessly. We can't thank Damian enough for leading our reception through all the key "Kodak Moments" and then creating a fun dance party throughout the night! - Shawn & Sarah

So many colors to choose from; we were able to find the perfect match! We also rented lighted pedestals (8 of them) for our ceremony from Czarina, and they looked even better than we had hoped! We rented them for HALF the cost of what we'd been quoted elsewhere. Overall, they were very easy to work with and very responsive to e-mails and calls. They showed up to our venue to set up earlier than scheduled (a huge bonus for our event coordinator), and did a great job! Everything was pressed and looked clean and crisp! We were so happy with how everything turned out--the pedestals, the chair covers, and the table runners! We couldn't be more pleased with the results! Their linens and pedestals really helped shape our event, and their pricing is unbeatable! Thank you!

Her blue table linens and glitz were perfect for our event. The center pieces were so elegant and she designed a beautiful flower arrangement for our sweetheart table! At the wedding, I walked into the banquet and I had chills and my heart stopped! My room was Breathtaking. We had a lilac, charcoal, and glitzy theme and it was beautifully spread out throughout the entire banquet hall. They decorated all 30 tables, my cake table, head table, escort card table and the high boys in the cocktail hour room. I rented out her diamond cake stand which was gorgeous and the sequins head table/cake tables were drop dead gorgeous. The napkins were made into bows and glitz which was perfect for my style since I love bows. I have had so many compliments on the room and my guests all told me that it was the most beautiful wedding they've been to... I have to agree... It was really a dream wedding and it was all because of the help from The Chair Couture, Inc. Whenever I needed help for something in my wedding, Czarina was there with helpful solutions and ideas. I would recommend this company to anyone! They have the perfect team and I wouldn't have had my dream wedding without them. I love the chair couture, inc.

I will never forget, after sending her the email explaining my mom's situation, Jenny calling me almost immediately - literally just offering her ear. After letting me express all my fears, tears, and anxieties - she got to work. She encouraged me to take a beat to feel all the feelings, and then insisted we have another call a day or two later so I could "brain dump" everything wedding on her. Jenny was able to take that unorganized, jumbled mess of a phone call and spit out a highly detailed, actionable, and prioritised to-do list that broke down not only what I had to do, my husband had to do, but she took on things that MY MOM was supposed to do. I cannot tell you how much this was appreciated - it makes me teary eyed just thinking about her kindness and how she went above and beyond to ensure our wedding day was a spot of brightness and hope amongst the dark weeks leading up to it. Sure enough, my mom recovered beautifully - was not only AT the wedding, but dancing a speech-giving with the best of them. Thank you, Jenny, for believing that would be so - getting us to the finish line and just overall being a wonderful human.

Her regular check-ins kept us on track, she helped us stay organized, and she personally recommended nearly all of our amazing vendors. She also constantly made sure we were doing okay and offered help wherever she could. She truly went above and beyond. When the wedding day arrived, Jenny and her husband Jeff took over and everything went off without a hitch. We didn't have to stress about a single thing, which meant the world to my wife and me. Originally, we were shopping for a day-of coordinator only. I was receiving ridiculously expensive quotes from coordinators. Then, I had one of those beams-of-sunny-heaven-with-angels-singing-in-falsetto moments, when I came across Just Ducky Events. It was so reasonably priced, that we opted for full-service coordination. Our experience was remarkable. Barb went above and beyond what was listed in her contract. She attended a wedding tradeshow with me to brainstorm ideas, met with my vendors, pushed and haggled for better prices, and had incredible aesthetic sense. She was most helpful with her consistency. My now-husband and I have a pretty busy schedule and she didn't hesitate to remind me of what needs to get done by what date, which was exactly what I needed. She had no problem playing "bad-cop". I had a little trouble with my photographer at first, and Barb was more than willing to get in touch with her and resolve my issue. Also, the day before my wedding, I called Barb in near-tears because my officiant (a stubborn family member) was changing the ceremony without my approval. I bugged her in the middle of dinner and she made time to talk to me. She listened to me rant and allowed me to have a bridezilla moment, but then offered some incredible advice on how to proceed dealing with this person. There were other hiccups throughout my wedding but Barb had them under control before I even found out about them. I had my dream wedding and it was largely thanks to Barb Duckworth. I could not have asked for a better planner & coordinator.

I must say that I am so grateful that this other bride left her review for me to read. Barb absolutely made my wedding everything I could have dreamed of. I am a very detailed / organized person, so I had a specific vision of what my wedding would look like. Along with that were countless details that I made or had made to help make our wedding more personal. Barb really took charge and made sure all of my details were noticed. Not only did Barb help to make my wedding look beautiful, but she also helped to create our timeline of events and ensured that we kept on schedule. She made sure that all of our vendors were paid and tipped and went back to our hotel to retrieve forgotten keys so that she could help to pack up our car after the wedding reception ended. I was thinking about the saying, "She went the extra mile", but in this case Barb went the extra marathon worth of miles. I would recommend her to anyone getting married. We loved her and our wedding wouldn't have been the same without her. Hire her, you won't be disappointed!
