I'm no expert but their product has all the characteristics of green unseasoned wood, which doesn't burn. After chasing the company for a month to make me whole, they refuse to deliver and replace the defective product with a seasoned quality cord of wood that I paid for. I tried mixing 1 defective log with good logs and the bad log was always left hissing and smoking. This was very difficult for me because I'm 100% disabled. Use caution and beware of this company and their merchandise.

Robert and his crew did an amazing job and I would refer them to anyone. Fast, efficient, friendly, and reasonable!

Michael Calandra shows up within a reasonable time frame, clears my walkway, and does exactly what he says he's going to do. Any issue, I call and Michael actually ANSWERS -- his response is "I'll take care of it," not some BS excuse. And his prices are absolutely fair. That matters, because for me snow removal is a necessity. I'm not a young man anymore and was in a serious accident, and my wife's an essential worker in the healthcare field, so we don't have the luxury of snow days. I've been through a couple plow services over the years, and these days it's almost impossible to find somebody who actually cares. Too many overcharge you and act like you should feel lucky they even answered the phone. Also, Michael has initiative, something that seems gone today. But most importantly he treats you like a neighbor, not a paycheck. If you want someone who takes pride in his work and does right by you. Also, yes, I have recommended him to my own family.

They repeatedly avoided providing a written estimate until the job was finished, along with the final invoice. By the time all the work was completed, the final cost exceeded my budget, which could have been avoided if they had kept me informed throughout the process. Additionally, they damaged my front steps with a bobcat, but only mentioned it after I pointed it out. They never offered to cover the damage or even a portion of it; instead, they provided me with an estimate to replace the entire staircase.

I received a text back in under 15 minutes letting me know that they would attempt to get in touch with Oasis Sprinkler company. They also let me know that they had to match the elevation of the concrete they just poured to the steps to fit our layout and there wasn't much they could do there. I'm still not thrilled with that response because I looked up NYS code and the steps could've been made taller to allow for easier entry to the house. The height from 2nd riser to the metal threshold to step into our kitchen, is well over 8 inches. They could've also made the steps wider and shorter (as I thought they would do) to allow for a third step. They also apologized for our disappointment and said they would get it rectified. A couple of hours later I received a text letting us know the sprinkler company would be there that Thursday to fix the situation. Sprinkler guys showed up Thursday, assessed the situation and fixed the damaged sprinkler head. They also dug around and found where the severed lines were. They said they would need to come back, trench & reroute a new line and adjust the overall system. They showed up again that following Monday the 14th and finished the job in under 4 hours. I can't believe how considerate they were with our lawn. Very little damage and lawn should be back to normal in a few weeks. I am happy that we weren't left with a broken system, especially when trying to grow back our lawn where it was damaged. I'm fairly satisfied with the overall outcome, but I will suggest to all individuals working with a contractor, to get a detailed estimate in writing, proof of insurance and be clear on your expected results.

They also cleared a whole section in our back yard, and put in new plantings. The team worked diliently, methodically, and even continued as it rained. Complete cleanup was impressive, considering the weather conditions. Their hard work was worth every penny we paid! The results were trrific. Two years ago they competely redid our front landscaping which included removing 40+ year-old shrubs, putting in new plantings and seeding a small lawn area. That fall they did the same type of work for a section of our back yard. We are still receiving compliments about their work! This company has pleasant and professional employees. The process of engaging them is organized and efficient, and they offer expert plans from which to choose. Kudos to Paul and his team. Maggie C..
