Francine assured me the claim was legitimate and guaranteed support if it was disputed by CRA. We sat in her office while she did our taxes, literally exactly the same way I do them at home with tax software. Towards the end of the summer I got a letter from CRA asking for supporting documents for the claim. It took me 3 weeks, 2 emails and leaving 3 phone messages before I was able to get in touch with her. She told me she would submit the documents electronically. 2 months later I get a letter in the mail saying since I did not send in the documents they asked for, I was reassessed owing them over $3,000. At this point I realized I better deal with this myself; that Francine had no intention of honoring her word. I did email her but still have not heard back. I submitted the documents and just got a letter back accepting the claim and that my balance was $0. I encourage anyone who has simple taxes to just get software and do it yourself. If you really need help, steer clear on this place!

Since I was moving out of province by a particular day, we agreed they'd be done before that day and we even scheduled an appointment on my departure day for me to sign the papers and pick up my things. She was late so she offered to send me my files. When she realised it would be expensive because they're heavy, she downloaded blame onto me, becoming belligerent, defiant and wildly unprofessional. 17 months later and after repeated attempts to resolve this situation, she is now holding my files hostage and will not communicate with me. What a nightmare! I am at a loss as to how she justifies handling a professional relationship in this way. Beware!
