I chose to register with Randstad in OTTAWA because initially, I read above average reviews about…read morethem. Randstad was only one of the two agencies I registered with. I was called by Lisa Haddow initially and was asked basic questions. A few days later, I had a video call with Rikkilee. Went great. Approximately 2 weeks later Lisa set me up with a call from a client seeking an Executive Assistant. Again, the call went great or so I had thought. This is when it went sour. Heard NOTHING from the client and NOTHING from Lisa despite several emails requesting an update. Finally received an email from her saying she would call me the next day. Waited all day. Even sent another 2 emails asking if the call was still on. NOTHING. Finally the next day she contacted me informing me the client had chosen another candidate. Fair enough. Not the first job I have lost out on. Because of her lack of replies and updates (and with the client as well) I passed on 2 other other interviews because I was lead to believe the interviews went great and my qualifications EXCEEDED what they were looking for. I often see many job listings that I AM EXTREMELY QUALIFIED FOR on Indeed and routed via Randstad. Reached out to inquire about these positions. Nothing. In order for me to change my opinion on Randstad, Lisa needs to do something spectacular to gain my trust in them. Being ignored is frankly RUDE and VERY unprofessional.

My PRRA situation was extremely delicate, and I needed a law firm I could truly depend on. Their videos gave me clarity and hope, so I decided to reach out. That decision changed everything for me. From the first consultation, I could tell they were different. They didn't just give me generic advice -- they took the time to understand my unique circumstances and laid out a clear plan tailored to my case. The level of detail and care they put into preparing my application was unmatched. They anticipated potential challenges, addressed them head-on, and made sure nothing was left to chance. Communication was another area where they truly added value. Every question I had -- no matter how small -- was answered promptly and clearly. I never felt left in the dark. They were transparent, supportive, and always professional, which gave me confidence throughout the entire process. Thanks to their expertise and commitment, my PRRA application was successful.
