I also believe these are the same consistent people, I feel I recognize them. Before I would call and get a quote, this time I contacted Magic Tire through Yelp. They're always patient & exercise brevity, they were fast with messaging. I didn't go for the budget or used as usual, they sourced premium tires for me that I asked for and they didn't have. I'm pedantic, I always get quotes from a few shops to learn what's reasonable and I'm curious. Magic Tire is consistently the best deal. I'm a 'my-first-offer-is-my-best-offer' sort, I haven't even bothered to haggle because their first quote is sharply competitive and I respect their time. I couldn't buy the tires independently and have a shop install them for me for cheaper. I pulled the figures and did the math; tire price, taxes, installation, etc. Today's visit was perfect, as it has been everytime I've gone, they were all the positive adjectives about their service. They have the best quote, multiple-technician fast installation, and the tires meet expectations. --In the time it took you to read this review, you could've had a quote by now. Bring cash.

I was planning to return to purchase new or used tires, but I couldn't because I had to bring my daughter since she only has a permit. I had a great experience with Alex at Value Auto Repair. I originally reached out through Yelp, and he was responsive and answered all of my questions. His pricing was significantly better than what the dealership quoted me, but what really stood out wasn't just the price--it was his honesty. I came in with a humming noise that I believed was a bad wheel bearing but was unsure. Alex was upfront from the beginning after making the same diagnosis and even encouraged me to get quotes from other mechanics if it made me feel more comfortable so I could make sure I was getting a fair deal. That kind of confidence and transparency is hard to find. When I arrived, he was able to get my car in within about 30 minutes to diagnose it. While the part was being delivered, I went to lunch, and once I came back, he had the wheel bearing replaced in about 45 minutes. Before I left, he took the time to show me both the old and new wheel bearings, explaining how they worked and letting me hear and feel the difference. I really appreciated him taking the time to educate me instead of just handing me a bill. One thing I noticed while I was waiting was how many customers came in who clearly knew Alex. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to see him, several appeared to be repeat customers, and there was an obvious level of trust between them. After my own experience, I completely understand why. Alex also has a great sense of humor, which made the whole experience much less stressful. Most importantly, the humming noise is completely gone, and my car drives perfectly again. The 5-Star rating is short of what i would rate them in terms of Serivce, Quality, and Value. It's also for the kindness and HONESTY they put into their work. Let's be real, because we ALL know how difficult it is to find a good and honest auto service shop these days. The service I received was so ABOVE & WELL BEYOND what I had brought it in for. After being in quite a traumatizing auto incident and left with a 3-wheeled car (a tire flew off!) I had my car towed over to Neighbors where they promptly took action and were already in solution mode. Since the car was undriveable the crew came up with a way to roll the car off of the tow truck without possibly causing more damage. From then, I was informed of the many damages in the matter of importance and what needed the most attention in order to atleast get it back on the road. I was even shown a graphic of the main parts needed to be fixed for a better understanding. The costs were broken down and presented in a way that didn't feel "shady" nor unfair. Once the car was done I came to pick it up and literally walked past it because I didn't even recognize it! It looked like an (almost) new car! Any signs of this car being in an ugly street incident just a day prior was all of the sudden, gone. The family at Neighbors truly care about what they do and when I initially brought my car in one of the things that they said was "we just like cars..."
