Came in today just for a tire patch. From the beginning, the cashier/receptionist had a short attitude. I asked if they carried used tires, and she directed me to the guy performing the patch. When I asked again about newtires, she responded shortly, almost annoyed, asking what kind. I'm not walking into BF Goodrich, and it's not like I'm an SME on tires, so I just told her to forget about my inquiry. I was planning to return to purchase new or used tires, but I couldn't because I had to bring my daughter since she only has a permit. I was surprised Sunday a.m. with a slow leak coming from my car's tire. Discount tire was closed, Pep Boys put me on a ridiculously long hold, and so I did some Googling and came across this place. He let the worker (possibly manager) know that I just needed my tire patched. I signed in, and within 20 or less minutes, my tire was patched and all was good to go! I'd like to thank these guys for helping me this past Sunday! Around 8am I was on my way back home from dropping off my dad at CBX when I suddenly heard scraping under my car while I was on the freeway. I exited and pulled into a shopping center to see what was causing the sound and turned out it was my splash shield that had come loose and was hanging low to the ground. I drove to an auto parts store to buy new clips where they suggested I visit a tire shop to raise my car and see if they would help with the install. This place was the closest I found that was open and had good reviews. Turned out the shield was damaged but they still helped me by using zip ties to hold it in place while I made the drive back home to OC. Seems like something has changed here. I've bought at least three sets of tires here in the past. My wife bought one or two sets. I bought a set recently. I left and there was a shake in the steering wheel that was significant. I should've turned around. But, I drove home and sent them an email. Few days past, no response yet so I sent a follow up email. A few more days past, still no response! so I took it to a nearby national tire chain for balancing. They did the balance but there was still a slight wobble. They thought it could be the tires themselves. I paid cash. I asked if there was a discount for doing so, and she said yes, but no receipt, no warranty on the tires. It's unfortunate. They aren't close.
