It is not often that a contractor takes over an hour of his time explaining to a potential customer not to spend the money. Great work, reasonable pricing. My mother-in-law's pergola had (only) two rotting posts and the…read moremain beam was sagging in the middle. I used temporary supports from Home Depot to be safe, but I live relatively far away and don't work in construction anymore, so I needed someone to come and fix this. It was difficult to find someone, but a neighbor recommended this company. They knew exactly what needed to be done. The pergola had been in place for 20 years, but wasn't built to last much longer than that. This father and son came in, and spent a day installing three new posts, matching the original style exactly, leveling the beam perfectly, using concrete footings and painted everything to look brand new. They might be busy as great contractors are hard to find, but plan ahead and wait until they can service your project, and you will be glad you did. For reference, I sometimes visit my past construction customers from 30 to 40 years ago when I go back to CT, and my work still stands - my point is that I know what I'm talking about, and I'm grateful both to these guys and the neighbor who recommended them.

My concern was that I had over 12 yards of carpet left over- according to Dave (Manager and person who measured), that was to be expected due to 'repeat design' and stairs couldn't be done any other way to piece together instead of cutting 3 feet of carpet for stairs off a 16 foot roll, leaving me with $400 of excess carpet which he states he could only sell as remnant for $75-100. Additionally, was to be 'free installation' which ended up costing me another $419 due to it being laid on concrete and 'repeat design', as well as separate charge for stairs. I would also recommend requesting and reviewing a written estimate as the original that was sent me. The actual ended up being almost $500 more than my final cost, including Illinois versus Wisconsin sales tax
