Once again disappointed. Came for an advertised Outdoor Living Expo. Upon arrival, I realized this was the same place I swore never to return to because they had fake sales events, little inventory (unless looking for specialty olive oil, home decor, or gifts for Grandma) and very high prices. This time was no different. No Expo, no experts, no "free ice cream." Only two employees (teens) who were unaware anything was advertised... and couldn't care less. read more

I used to go in this store and look around at all the beautiful things. They had tons of cardinal pieces and I bought something every trip in there. I guess it had been a bit since I went because the store is just plants now. After I hauled my two large bushes from the parking lot into the store the cashier (Kymmia) was not very friendly and seemed put out to have to ring up my purchases. When I asked where all the beautiful items went and why it is all plant related on the inside she said she would have been out of business if she'd kept that stuff. That store was special because of 'that stuff'. I thought this woman's attitude was poor. If she was the owner then shame on her for treating customers so rudely. I bought two bushes and spent $72.40. I was told both bushes needed full sun. Both bushes were wilted and half dead within two weeks after planting even with daily watering. A month after purchase one bush is now totally dead. I called the store to see if they guarantee their plants and was told a flat out no. The bush didn't even last a month! I will never go to that store again. Bad customer service and bad plants. If you cannot treat customers with respect and guarantee your product then you do not deserve my business. I used to like to stop and walk around and look at everything they have in this place. Until just recently that I had a bad experience never again. I rather go elsewhere where I'm treated with respect and appreciation. I bought a family member a gift and I didn't tell them to plug it in to see if it worked when I purchased it because I was in a lot of pain. I suffer from a chronic pain disability, especially in the colder months. Later that evening I was going to wrap the gift but discovered the extension cord didn't fit the base. Both the base and cord were very dusty and the cord was all twisted and it looked like it had been used. I remembered I had bought my son that's in the military a coaster a few weeks back and I took it out and unwrapped it. It was chipped on one corner. I called them and left them a voicemail of what the issue was. The next day I was not greeted when I entered the store. I told them the issues and they were very snotty and rude. No apologies!! One lady even left me talking to myself and she walked away. I ended exchanging the coaster and returning everything else. If I'm going to buy something I expect it to work and to be new. I find that very unacceptable!! read more

We usually have a good experience here and our regular service woman is the nice elderly lady with a bunch of tattoos and rings. She's wonderful and knows how to handle the plants with care. Today, I had a different experience with a different service woman named Michelle. She asked me to haul one of the bigger plants into the building from the parking lot so they could scan it, then once I hauled it, one of her associates dropped it and broke off a chunk. I told them I didn't want this one and I would get a different one. They both gave me attitude and Michelle ran after us into the parking lot asking why we are so angry and mad & that it's only a branch that broke off. Mind you, our tone was very calm & I don't want a broken plant. No apology, no trying to help us grab the other plant, nothing. This woman was a nightmare. I dragged two heavy plants in the hot heat - meanwhile those two idiots are just standing around and blabbing most of the time. What are they getting paid for? read more

For plants and flowers yes I'd recommend. Anything else, no. Too over priced junk. Owner is a bit weird and unfriendly.

I ordered sunflowers for a baby shower. When I went to pick them up the morning of the shower I learned the order did not get placed. The owner apologized and said she wanted to make it right, and she did just that! She found us sunflowers, delivered them and gave us a full refund. We had the sunflowers well before the shower started and they were beautiful. Amazing customer service! Thank you Landscape Connection. We will be back. read more

During the most devastating time, the people at The Landscape Connection were the most wonderful, thoughtful people. Through my uncertainty, they helped me pick out a beautiful arrangement. They made the arrangement in a moments notice, they didn't even ask for payment. They waited for me to call back the next day, and even when we completed the card - they were kind and generous. It is a very nice store and garden center. However, I've had a lot of trouble with the customer service. They ARE friendly, but not exactly helpful and no cross training. I stopped by on a Monday. A lady told me the delivery would be the next day a Tuesday and told me not to buy any vegetable plants. I was more than happy to buy what was there, but she had me convinced there would be a huge variety and healthier plants. So I didn't. I mentioned this to two other workers the same day and neither of them said any different. The next day I came to the shop and saw the same amount of vegetable plants. So I asked two workers if the vegetable plant shipment came in and they both were very confused. They said no it comes every Thursday. I told them what the lady had said to me. They nodded their heads in acknowledgment, but gave no apology. I decided to leave without buying anything. I came back the next day Wednesday to just buy whatever they had despite the shipment. I gathered the plants I wanted and went into the store to pay for them. The cashier told me that I don't pay for the plants inside that there's a register outside I'm supposed to go to. I told her every time I come here there's some type of issue. She said she was sorry and that she was actually the florist and was just covering and that she doesn't actually know how to ring up the plants. I did not see a sign nor did the owner stop me when I walked out of the green house (which makes sense because the owner might have thought I was going into the store to pick out items there too). The florist went ahead a rang me up inside. She was able to find the cost of the plants in a binder and also with my help on remembering the cost. I've had other older issues. An older issue is that I was looking for a certain product in the store. A worker asked me if he could help me. So I told him what I was looking for and he said he wasn't familiar with the store portion so he asked the cashiers. The cashiers had no idea what I was talking about and said they don't know if they sell it. So I told the guy never mind that if the girls and you don't know what I'm talking about then the store doesn't carry it. He said no let me check with the lady upstairs and he came back and said she doesn't know either. No one seemed to have a thorough knowledge of what was carried in the store. My solution to the owner is to provide cross training and create ways to communicate so that everyone is on the same page, such as a calendar that all workers receive at the beginning of each month of all the shipments and events. It would also be good to have the workers familiarized with the products. A small fun game/competition among the workers can be created to see who can find the most products on a list within 15 minutes would help with this. Then you have them put each other's products back which reinforces where the products are in the store. read more
