When we had the carpets cleaned after moving into the house 7 years ago we were told by another carpet cleaning company they were permanent. Since then are kids and dog only added to the mess. Also our new cat had taken to urinating in both rooms. I was amazed at how clean he was able to get them I only wish I had a before photo to compare. We are so happy with the results and the price was so affordable. We plan to use them again to have other rooms done in the house. We will be recommending Carpet Star to friends and family for sure!!!

M P Caroll has an excellent reputation and I've only heard people talk about how much they love their floors from them, so I knew I was going to hire them to do ours. For a few weeks I exhausted Mia and Tiffany while I came in to the showroom and checked out over a dozen different samples to bring home and see how they looked with my lighting. They were always so polite and nice, no matter how many questions I asked. I highly recommend taking samples home with you because there are ones I saw in the showroom that I thought was amazing, but at home it just was not going to work. It's funny because my first request was the brazilian tigerwood (Koa) but I talked myself out of it and went on to bring home many samples. Do you know which one I ended up buying? The Koa. It's just so sexy and beautiful! I was hesitant about it because I have a toddler and two small dogs but at the end of the day I decided to follow some advice and "not let my short term problems influence my long term decisions". M P Caroll lets you use your credit card! This is awesome for us because we like to pay it off every month and we have an airlines rewards one. So we earned half of a free flight to Hawaii from buying our floor. So next time I'm in Maui, I'm gonna be toasting to M P Caroll. I was a little nervous about the installation. You know how sometimes contractors are kind of weirdos who make you feel uncomfortable? Not M P Caroll employees! They are the BEST! From the showroom ladies to the measuring dude to the installers, everyone they hire is super friendly and NICE. Not a creep to be found here! My new floors look AMAZING, super happy with them and my experience with M P Caroll!!!!

He didn't try to push us in any particular direction but listened to what we wanted and made suggestions. He also gave us the heads up for an upcoming sale so we could make sure we got a good price. One the day of install the team worked quickly and did a thorough job cleaning up afterwards so we didn't have to worry about any mess. Took his time talking to us, gave us advice and told us he could special order the hardwood we fell in love with which we saw from a manufacturer in California. 3 days later he already had ordered a sample and let us take it home. Installation was an easy process and the floor was finished today. Every employee I dealt with in the company was amazing. Saleswomen Lisa, Dan's father Greg, and Colin who both installed the floor. They did a great job and it looks amazing. Some shoe molding that was missing when I bought the house was replaced by Greg, which he didn't have to do. All the garbage was removed which no other business did for us. Greg even took some of my garbage from my appliances. Just a first rate family business, HIGHLY recommended if you are interested in any hardwood flooring.

I ended up hiring Niagara Hardwood to refinish my floors. Overall, they did a solid job in 3 days…read morethe quote was reasonable. They kept to schedule and finished the job to let the floors cure. The floors turned out beautiful and I really love the finish and it adds so much brightness to my upstairs. Why the 4-stars? ~~ Although the quote included closets, one closet I noticed wasn't done after they finished the first quote. After I pointed this out to them, they did it, but it only ended up with 2 coats instead of the 3 originally promised. It doesn't look as good in the closets with the 3 coats and overall the closets don't look as nice as the main floors. I also accidentally put a little scratch on the floor when moving some furniture back. I texted them to see if they would fix it and they quoted me a reasonable amount and said they would contact me, but haven't followed up with me yet. I guess they probably forgot and the otis might be on me to try them again. Either way, some small things and overall a wonderful job done! I'd definitely recommend them for your flooring installing/refinishing needs!
