I've driven by Pinky's Place many times but never stopped in until recently. I won't lie, antique…read moreplaces usually give me anxiety because so often it just seems like a bunch of junk thrown into a warehouse. This is not the vibe at Pinky's Place! Each booth I saw was curated nicely and very easy to look at and browse. I didn't feel overwhelmed at all, even though it is a bit of a labyrinth inside (not nearly as huge as some other larger antique warehouses in the area though). In the main entrance area there is a checkout as well as several canned/jarred food items for sale - we saw a lot of honey, salad dressings, canned/pickled veggies, etc. From there we wandered around and just kind of explored. I loved the felt food booth - so cute! This is definitely a place to find great gifts. I took some photos of the American Girl doll sized clothes for friends - the Lions gear was the best. The "artisan" market part means there are handmade items for sale as well as antiques, so it's definitely a mix of stuff. I will say I didn't notice much in the way of vintage clothing. Books, toys, memorabilia, housewares, records, jewelry, etc. If you like antiquing and hunting for treasures, definitely add Pinky's Place to your list!

The staff is friendly, accommodating, and there's a tremendous sense of community. They keep the place spotless and vendors' booths are well stocked with every imaginable, kind of trinket and treasure. We looked through the store a couple times before taking home fabric samples twice. We are so happy with our sofa and look forward to many years enjoying it in our living room. My boyfriend and I have been casually looking on and off for a new coffee table for awhile. I had…read moredriven past Stonesthrow many times but had never stopped in. I always thought it was super high end and expensive for some reason. We decided to just browse one Saturday morning and we ended up having a great experience! There is metered street parking in the front of the store, but there's also a large free parking lot behind the building. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and asked if we had been in before. When we said no, the friendly employee gave us the lay of the land and told us there are three floors to the store and that it's much bigger than it seems from the outside. Totally true! I always thought this store was small, but it's really huge. We started browsing through all the setups and were immediately impressed by the styling of each area and all the different items. They have all kinds of furniture, decorations, and rugs. Prices were clearly marked which I appreciated since it shows they're not trying to hide anything. I was pleasantly surprised that I found quite a few things that would fit into our budget, along with higher-end, more expensive pieces. They also have a clearance section which we looked through. The pieces I saw mostly swayed more modern and a little less traditional, which is more my style anyway. Upstairs we found a coffee table that was a major upgrade from our current table, but still in our budget and actually quite affordable. It has a metal base and a glass/ceramic top that looks and feels like marble. Super sleek and sophisticated! Christine was upstairs and asked if we needed any help. We asked her about the process for purchasing as we wouldn't be able to fit the table into our car. She told us that we could pay for it and come back with a larger vehicle, or we could pay $60 for local delivery. SOLD! I am all about that convenience and for $60 they can pack and carry the pretty heavy table. We paid for our purchase and Christine was super awesome with the whole process. I am so glad we finally stopped in to Stonesthrow and I can't wait to go back! She did say that they also do special orders if you know something you want and they are able to get it in store. Highly recommend looking here instead of Wayfair etc. for a local option. They also provide interior design services!

These people told us our flooring was a three day job. Two rooms. First they continuously didn't…read moreshow up when they said they would. Second, they ordered the wrong color and type of tile and we were told basically too bad that it's not what you picked out or paid for it's what you're getting. Third, they never even came back and finished the job. After a month of not hearing a thing, we called someone else to come and finish. Fourth, they broke the toilet and we had to replace it, their plumber rehooked the sink incorrectly and it leaked, so we had to pay a plumber to redo it, among other things. Fifth, they didn't clean up after themselves at all. I found a trash bag leaking a vile substance that was left in my library to sit after they worked a couple hours and took off for a long weekend. Apparently I was supposed to lift it. And haul it away myself. That 6 star review probably came from the owner of the business. Do NOT hire these people, they have no idea what they've foo g and the work is beyond shoddy.

I give Floor Coverings International a 10 out of 10. My wife and I had a budget we were trying to…read morestick to and they were very open about helping us get there. The installation crew was on time, fast and professional! And the prices were fair.
