I buy from the outlet store off of Richmond St. the outlet is in the back. I cannot even begin to tell you how many sets of cabinets we have purchased here. The guys that work in outlet are the best. They work hard to make sure you have your kitchen layout YOU bring as they do not do design in the outlet division. 90% of the time they have every cabinet we need and can take with, many are still boxed. They have limited cabinet design, however most are dovetailed, some even soft closed drawers, they have many sinks, bathroom vanities. The best is, they are local and have almost all you need in one spot. read more

Beware! Williams Kitchen & Bath (Rachel) sold my mother in law cabinets for her new kitchen. The contractor installed them and they later noticed cracks on the bottom of two faces of the cabinets. My mother in law now has to pay the contractor to install the replacement cabinets and to return the damaged cabinets and pick up the replacements. Also, a tall pantry cabinet was supposed to be pull out drawers and instead was delivered with static shelves. She paid for the upgraded pull outs. They told her there wasn't anything they could do other than to get replacements. She is stuck footing the bill for the labor due to damaged product. Shouldn't Williams Kitchen & Bath checked to make sure that these items weren't damaged prior to sending the out? That's poor customer service and not standing behind their products. They basically don't want to make the situation better. I would suggest looking around at other options. They don't seem to want to take much responsibility for their own products. read more

Edited to add that after 6 months we had lots of problems with our cabinetry. Had to order a whole new corner unit door because the first fell off. This new one is already seeming to be cheap. There has been tons of scratching of the white finish we got. I didn't expect that so much. Lots of trouble having the doors line up to each other on the cabinets. read more

After 24 hours of posting the review, over 4th of July weekend I might add, I received a call from the manager. In that call he was not only able to solve the issue with some compromise (customer received different product than ordered, he cut the price by over 1/3). We began our fifth kitchen remodel (everything out down to the studs and joists) with a trip with Kevin Bush, our contractor, to Williams Studio in Grand Rapids. We were impressed with the many attractive displays (ideas, ideas!) and the wide variety and number of manufacturers of cabinets and plumbing fixtures available from Williams. Our experience with them shot uphill at every step thereafter. Working with Gabrielle (very experienced and knowledgable) on cabinet styles, colors and price ranges was an exciting treat as were her quick thinking and skills regarding cabinet layouts. We also took her suggestions for cabinet pulls/knobs and counter tops - both not what I originally had in mind. We also worked with Kim in the plumbing department and were delighted (and getting truly spoiled) to find her expertise equally excellent. She knew construction details and quality comparisons and again we took her recommendations. After five new kitchens and decades of cooking in them, I was sure I knew exactly what I wanted, but accepting Gabrielle's and Kim's recommendations, we have the best kitchen to date. All of our guests, yes ALL, are wow'd with the way this kitchen turned out. As with many rehab projects, we ran into issues, this time with the materials suppliers. The women, with the company standing behind them, went to bat for us. With determination and persistence, they achieved full resolutions. For over 50 years we've worked with suppliers with our business, office and home home build outs. Truly, Williams Studio ranks at the top of our list for commitment to service, honesty and going the extra mile to get things done. read more

Finally went to Williams and they had a GREAT selection and prices from entry level for a scratch and dent to high end for really nice quality cabinets. This store is one of the best in town. Their prices are very competitive (and often lower), and the quality is outstanding. I just purchased 4 high quality cabinets for my kitchen (from the outlet) and only paid about as much as I would have for 1 single cabinet at a big box store. The service is exceptional in all aspects. I have only picked my pieces up (instead of delivery), but their warehouse guys are great, as well. True gem of a store in GR. read more

Their customer service and knowledgeable designers are the best to be found in West Michigan. Everything was delivered on time and our store pickups were always done quickly and with a wonderful attitude of helpfulness. I went to Williams to remodel my bathroom and expected first rate customer service, in which I was very disappointed. Our representative did not follow up on delivery of our cabinets, failed to provide final quote documents and receipts. She created a very uncomfortable feeling every time I had to call or go into the store, and I felt as the owner just let it happen and never once asked how we were doing. Just TERRIBLE service. I am now building a home and will not purchase anything from their store, not even appliances. Very disappointed with the service. read more
