My boyfriend and I have been casually looking on and off for a new coffee table for awhile. I had…read moredriven past Stonesthrow many times but had never stopped in. I always thought it was super high end and expensive for some reason. We decided to just browse one Saturday morning and we ended up having a great experience! There is metered street parking in the front of the store, but there's also a large free parking lot behind the building. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and asked if we had been in before. When we said no, the friendly employee gave us the lay of the land and told us there are three floors to the store and that it's much bigger than it seems from the outside. Totally true! I always thought this store was small, but it's really huge. We started browsing through all the setups and were immediately impressed by the styling of each area and all the different items. They have all kinds of furniture, decorations, and rugs. Prices were clearly marked which I appreciated since it shows they're not trying to hide anything. I was pleasantly surprised that I found quite a few things that would fit into our budget, along with higher-end, more expensive pieces. They also have a clearance section which we looked through. The pieces I saw mostly swayed more modern and a little less traditional, which is more my style anyway. Upstairs we found a coffee table that was a major upgrade from our current table, but still in our budget and actually quite affordable. It has a metal base and a glass/ceramic top that looks and feels like marble. Super sleek and sophisticated! Christine was upstairs and asked if we needed any help. We asked her about the process for purchasing as we wouldn't be able to fit the table into our car. She told us that we could pay for it and come back with a larger vehicle, or we could pay $60 for local delivery. SOLD! I am all about that convenience and for $60 they can pack and carry the pretty heavy table. We paid for our purchase and Christine was super awesome with the whole process. I am so glad we finally stopped in to Stonesthrow and I can't wait to go back! She did say that they also do special orders if you know something you want and they are able to get it in store. Highly recommend looking here instead of Wayfair etc. for a local option. They also provide interior design services!

I love Stonesthrow and their modern furniture. For me though, what's best is their interior…read moredesigners who are there to help you with all of your design needs for your fill project.

My small furniture item that was custom ordered (a small corner cabinet), and way-overpriced, took months longer then it should have to arrive. After waiting for 2 months for the call it was ready to pick up, and hearing nothing, I reached out to the store and was told that the item was still sitting at another location and that it was damaged. I would never have heard or known about this status, without me checking on it. Then there was zero contact for another month and half. I called several times asking for a manager so I could get more details - and NEVER heard back from her. I did get a call from the sales girl that said it hadn't arrived yet. There were no apologies for the inconvenience, or effort made to make it right. Finally, I tried reaching out again a few weeks later, this time in person! I showed up and the assistant manager Bob was there and was great; but all he offered was to have this small cabinet delivered to my house (could easily fit in my vehicle, so this was not very beneficial to me.) But I accepted, and he was a pleasant, nice man who was making an effort to help in the bad situation. Unfortunately, on the day they decide to deliver the following week, I am at work and they give me a 2-3 hour timeframe for delivery. It was conflicting with my work arrangements, but I tried to keep those hours clear. Sadly, they came after the timeframe and I was not able to be there to inspect the item. They offered to leave it outside. I called Bob to see if i could just pick it up from the store, and he said no, they already had arranged it for delivery. I would have preferred to receive a discoun/refund on my item instead of this massive headache and additional stress I received. My son ended up going to the house to be there to let them in. All in all, I paid too much for this item to begin with, and then horrible customer service from the beginning, from most of the staff. I would have expected better from a high end furniture store. I won't be shopping here again and suggest you don't either.

We were there for almost 3 hours discussing what we wanted with our sales person (shoutout to Lisa!!!!). Located near 131 on Leonard you would expect only street parking, however they do have a new lot behind them with a new alley way a few doors down, so easy to get to. Their sign is easy to see when driving by and they always have a sign on the sidewalk, as well. The main storefront always looks so cute and well curated - and everything is for sale. You like the light? It's yours! Rugs? Yup! Art? All of it! They have two or three back rooms that have even more stuff that isn't as easy to curate - sheets, rugs, duvet, pillows, etc. I have bought candle holders, vases, and candles here and have loved them all. Some great price point, others a little pricier. The ladies that run the store are always so sweet and helpful, and they sometimes have a shop dog, so whats NOT to love about that?! He was super friendly, honest, was there when we needed him and gave us space when we needed to think about things. We set up a delivery and the gentlemen who came were Zeke and Carlos. They were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. Also very strong, they couldn't quite make it up our long driveway so had to carry our furniture a good bit of way to the house. They handled our furniture with care and also didn't let the extra work of carrying our furniture get in the way of their friendly demeanor. They also took our old furniture out of the house for us and carried a rocking chair to the basement. Overall excellent customer service from the time we walked through the barn doors to the time the delivery guys left our house. We got a great deal on nice furniture, I would highly recommend this business to anyone needing to purchase furniture.

They may be great, but I don't need to be told to call and jump thru the hoops of some salesperson just to get a price. I am already considering over an hour drive to go get a recliner. I would like to have more than just a catalog picture. Price as well as what fabric options before I burn a tank of gas to get there. Now they may have a wonderful staff and service. I do not know yet. The website and it's lack of information on the pieces I was interested in and the "call for best price" and "request more information" forms to be emailed what I need to know (and giving them my email address in the process) was enough to put me off. Until that changes, I will look elsewhere.

Each booth I saw was curated nicely and very easy to look at and browse. I didn't feel overwhelmed at all, even though it is a bit of a labyrinth inside (not nearly as huge as some other larger antique warehouses in the area though). In the main entrance area there is a checkout as well as several canned/jarred food items for sale - we saw a lot of honey, salad dressings, canned/pickled veggies, etc. From there we wandered around and just kind of explored. I loved the felt food booth - so cute! This is definitely a place to find great gifts. I took some photos of the American Girl doll sized clothes for friends - the Lions gear was the best. The "artisan" market part means there are handmade items for sale as well as antiques, so it's definitely a mix of stuff. I will say I didn't notice much in the way of vintage clothing.
