(From the outside, the shop isn't the most tantalising or alluring). There are some decent bargains here - if you can find your size - in pastel coloured T-shirts and pretty summer dresses. Silly prices prevail (£5-10) on the sale rails but when you step further back into the store you'll find more expensive, well-chosen Esprit clothing. The shop is divided into a women's section on one side and men's on the other. Its strength lies in smart(ish) casual wear and wardrobe basics. Worth exploring, too, if you're in bargain-hunting mode.

Review of New Look in Harrow…read more Today, I went shopping at New Look in Harrow and had an unpleasant experience at the checkout. When I was paying for my items, I asked if they offered a student discount. The cashier confirmed that they do and asked for my student card. However, when I handed it over, she told me it was not real because it did not have an expiry date. I have been studying at Harrow College for two years, and this card was issued by the college itself. I explained this to the cashier and even offered to prove it using the Harrow College student app, which clearly shows my enrollment status. The app also displays my photo, date of birth, and name, and I even had a class on the same day. Despite this, she refused to accept my student card, which was frustrating and disappointing. After completing my purchase, she asked for my email. I told her I would prefer a printed receipt if possible. Instead of responding professionally, she laughed sarcastically and said, "A student without an email?" which I found rude and unprofessional. When I asked for her name, she refused to give it. This experience was frustrating and unprofessional. I hope the store trains its staff better on customer service and how to properly verify student IDs.

Ive just recently bought a coat for £35pounds, now for a leggy bird like myself that is a good thing because all the specialist tall shops think Iam rich, I could buy the same jacket at it would be 80 quid. What Nonsence! This New Look is pretty big and caters for all you have the average size chick, big chicks, petit chicks, pregnant chicks and teeny bobbers chicks clothing all under one roof. Fella's you are not left out too you got your section on one side of the store. When they have a sale on its a good one To complete that outfit they have an accesoriess section as well. Plus they play some crackin tunes while you shop. I spent the whole of summer looking fly because of this shop. I wish the section was bigger, but I know us tall chicks are a rare species so I will do with what I got. Because this New look is in the town centre they have great transport links with Harrow on the Hill(metroplotian line) station and bus station being 15mins away (depending on how long your legs are). You can have a day of shopping because their are a variety of shops not only clothing. You got your pubs, restaurants even VUE cinema. Cant wait to find my next glorious find, and come out with a new look.

Opened in March 2007, the Regent Street location is London's first Collection of Style (COS). Whilst I still haven't properly figured out their sizing (I consistently have to take two of every item into the fitting room to get it right), I continue to love COS - particularly for dresses and accessories. At the moment about half the store is on sale so it's a nice to time to get your Nordic fashion fix. Neon lovers: orange is figuring prominently in a lot of the current collection. I stuck to more muted tones with my purchases but I admire ladies who can rock super brights. My BFF picked up a terrific large checked scarf (as well as an oatmeal coloured rolled hem jumper for her boyfriend.) I spotted a blue/grey leather colour block clutch that I very nearly bought to avoid trying to DIY my own. Given I'm still thinking about it, I'll probably have to go back and fetch it at some point. There are plenty of basics here but if you desire to be more daring, they've got that too. Think coated linen sculptured dresses, glued seams, waxed linen shrunken shirts, bold statement necklaces. COS may well be the only store in London I can't manage to leave empty handed.

It is hard to guess that this store is even remotely related to the giant Swedish chain H&M. Best in store is the little black dress. It comes in different lengths and designs but always aims to impress. I do like Cos, and I feel like I will be shopping there a lot... in a couple of years. I feel like this store is a bit too 'grown up' at times and I plan to take advantage of my freedom to wear 'silly' clothes for as longs as I can.

The emphasis in this particular outlet is on the more casual and cheaper going out lines, and you won't find much by way of the premium evening wear that you might have your eye on from the website. Also, unsurprisingly, no Georgina Goodman shoes here either. Having said that, I defy any other Evans outlet outside of a major town (and therefore a much larger store) to have a wider selection of jeans, in a more comprehensive range of sizes, cuts, lengths, and colours. I haven't been picky enough to check if they really do stock everything that Evans produce, but I wouldn't be surprised if you told me they do. Impressive.

On day in november i was looking desperatly for a dress and i entered this shop. I felt in love. It is one of my favourite clothes shop. It is tidy and clean. Clothes are well exposed and you can easly see them all and find your size whatever it is. The staff is friendly and helpful. Fitting rooms are huge! I think they have more than 10, with a really good light and with many mirrors. The maximum of clothes you can try is 10 but if you go during the week time you can try a couple of more. They also have a big space all dedicated to shoes. It's a dream. Prices are super honest and you can choose between two brands. The one from new look -cheeper- and another one more "formal" and a little bit more expensive. I will repeat myself but i love this store

Best in store is the extensive and very affordable selection of shoes. If you need some urgent party shoes, this will always be a good place to venture. Annoyingly enough however, for some silly reason New Look has decided that fluorescent, neon green is the way to go for the colour of their shoe shelving units which is really just blinding and makes it harder to properly choose a pair of shoes. It also occasionally collaborates with British designers such as Giles Deacon which can be quite exciting. This particular New Look is a huge store, located on 3 floors. It is located in a rather strange area, namely in the middle of the City, right next to the financial centre of London, but I guess even City women enjoy a bit of cheap shopping once in a while! So if you are ever in the area, pop in and have look, but don't forget some sunnies to protect yourself from the outrageous neon green.

I always head straight downstairs; I find the clothing upstairs to be casual and quite flimsy - but probably good for summer stuff. Downstairs you have the whole selection of clothing for work - business skirts, jacket and shirts. Large selection of footwear - all colours shapes and heights! Dresses, daywear and nightwear. I most recently bought a lovely black Mac with a feminine belt and buttons for £30! I was very impressed! Have a browse you might be surprised...!

I was on a mission to stuff my America-destined suitcase with coats galore on my recent trip to London and while we have H&M's here in the States, it's always been my experience that they are a bit better overseas, so I figured I'd go in. As I strolled through the aisles, combed the racks and fondled, tugged and pulled at fabrics, I found an adorable little gold knitted sweater for... 3 pounds. Yes! But a jacket, Stephy, you must find a jacket. Keep your focus, girl! I decided since the first floor was looking pretty picked over and grim that I'd hike the two flights upstairs and see what there was. And there, oh there it was, my new coat. I only saw two of them. One, definitely smaller than the other and from about 20 feet away, I guessed maybe a size 4 and a 12 or 14 for the bigger one aka my new coat. I b-lined it for the coat, only knocking a few tiny hipsters out of the way and clenched it with my mitten covered hands! (Somehow that doesn't sound very menacing with the word mitten in it, huh? Oh well, moving on...) Sure enough, the small was indeed a size 4, off with you silly little person coat! And then there it was my 14 (hey, I eat, I have curves, la la la). I immediately dropped my purse and shed the 17 layers of clothing I was wearing to prevent me from freezing to death in the chilly London air and the coat was on. I did the chick side turn that gives you a peep at your bum to make sure it looks flattering. I did the classic reverse glance neck tilt to make sure my ass didn't look as big as it really is and then I went to button it and... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Missing buttons!! Crap sandwich! But wait? There was that little person coat that I tossed aside with reckless abandon.... Hmm, perhaps that coat had buttons? Sure enough! IT HAD BUTTONS!! And so it was time to plan my discount. My trained shopper mind knew full well that they weren't going to be able to sell this coat as is, which means, discountville!! Hey, it's defective and missing most of the front buttons, surely you can't charge me full price. What say we take the buttons off of the smaller coat and give them to me and then sell me the big coat at a discount defect price seeing as how I will have to sew the buttons on myself? And so I scanned the cashiers and looked for the youngest, most clueless looking one. There she was, blinking like Bambi! I approached her with confidence and gave her my spiel and after she thought it over and asked her manager, what do you know, success, new jacket and 20 new buttons were mine! Thanks H&M, I will wear my score with pride!

I don't care, I'm just gonna say it...I love it!!…read more It's like good ol' Primani only about £1 more expensive per item and slightly nicer. They have some terrible clothes, I know, you'll pick up a lovely top then realise it has a hideous patch of glitter on it, or pick up a gorge cardi then realise the buttons are already falling off, but sometimes you'll dig out some amazing finds! It's also a great place for 'the basics' like tshirts and vests in every colour. It's one of my first stops for a summer holiday too - lots of handy cheap beach coverups etc. It's not great quality and they're not long lasting garments but then you're not paying much and I've bought loads of really cool little dresses and tops from here. And lots and lots of hats!! I love hats!
