Hired them this summer to provide lawn care again. Things started out well, then I began getting invoices for services that weren't done. Although Sam rectified that situation, I realized about a month later that the crew wasn't coming out during my scheduled lawn care days. After multiple calls and emails, I unfortunately never heard back from Sam or the company.

They did a poor job at plowing the snow which is what resulted in all of this ice as well as the lack of salt that they put down. Very unhappy with the work that was done.

I had an amazing experience with Hills Excavation, when they installed a yard drainage system in my…read morebackyard. From start to finish, they were incredible! They completed the project in record time, even fitting me in ahead of schedule, which was a huge relief considering spring rains were on their way. The crew was fantastic--professional, friendly, and respectful of my property. They communicated with me every step of the way, answering all my questions quickly and thoroughly, sending me photos of the work to assuage any concerns. It was clear that they take great pride in their work, and they left my yard in perfect condition, cleaning up meticulously after the job was done. One wrench in the project was that I had an invisible fence line that ran through multiple areas of excavation, and I knew there was no chance that line wasn't going to be cut. What really blew me away, was that Cristian went out and repaired the damage and the line works perfectly again; talk about above and beyond! A week later, the drainage system works perfectly, and my yard is shockingly dry considering the recent heavy rain. I highly recommend Hills Excavation for any complicated and muddy yard-related needs--they exceeded my expectations in every way and I'm glad I no longer feel like Shrek telling people to, "get out of my swamp!"

Extremely disappointed…read more I was quoted $85 for service, then told the next request that the price was a "promo" and the actual cost was $100, which was never disclosed upfront. After one plow visit using a pickup truck with a front blade, my concrete driveway showed clear surface damage consistent with plow contact and salt exposure, concentrated in tire paths near the garage. This damage was not present prior to service. Between the pricing inconsistency and the condition my driveway was left in, I would not recommend this company and will not be using them again.

Cody, the owner, was very eager to secure my business for a new driveway installation, but I would not recommend them. Just 3 months after installation, numerous areas started crumbling. When I reached to Cody he claimed the mix had cooled down during installation and suggested that sealcoating would stop the deterioration and hide the imperfections. The driveway isn't even a year old and hasn't fully cured. Although he gives you a warranty, this is only as good as the people behind the warranty, they still did not fix the problem. He's great at communicating when he wants new business but poor when you have an issue. I have been trying for 2 months to talk with him and he does not respond. Based on his original response and now lack of response as to why a new driveway is deteriorating in areas suggest Nexus lacks the proper equipment for larger jobs and can't maintain material temperature if the job is far from the plant. Furthermore, the cleanup was poorly handled, the edges are very uneven it looks unprofessional and there is discarded asphalt all over the sides. The overall appearance is very disappointing. They may be fine for sealcoating, but I would not hire them for a new driveway.

From the initial phone call to the estimate through construction these guys were phenomenal. They showed up promptly worked in the pouring rain and created a brand new beautiful and stable wall for us. All through the process they were careful not to damage any surrounding areas and their clean up was impeccable. Dealing direct with the owners Jared and Omar was especially easy as they actually worked with their crews to ensure we were happy with the progress. They even stopped mid way during the process to visually show us several different options that they could do for us allowing us to choose the final version. So with that being said if you need any outdoor services: retaining walls, landscaping services, fall clean up etc. do not hesitate to call them. I give them 5*s for excellence all around.

DLC responded quickly with an estimate, and after asking friends about it I was told it was a good deal. So I responded that I would like to use their service and an email was sent with a link to pay, which made it a breeze, and set up a weekly appointment during this rainy month of May. They came the same day I paid, and did a terrific job considering what I'd tried to do (it was bad) and the lawn looks great. I will put up pictures when the lawn looks a little better, because I'd tried to use an electric mower that wouldn't adjust properly so some spots are awful. Anyway, great job, guys!
