When searching for studio insurance I got a quote from LJM because my studio mates used them. I went with another company with better rates. Months later I get a call from Georgia telling me I am late on a payment and that "she wouldn't want the money people to be looking for me". I told her I did not bind coverage with her company and that she must be confused. Initially (via may emails) she would not admit that they mistakenly binded coverage without my consent. After threatening legal action she admitted they made a mistake but that I would have to sign a paper to get out of the policy. I politely explained I would not be signing a thing. A month later she sent something saying coverage had been broken. ALL VERY FISHY. It seems to me someone had to make a quota and was trying to take advantage of a young artist, one who happens to be thankfully be dating a lawyer who had clarity on this situation, thanks. Watch out for these people. read more
