A week before the appointment I confirmed the appointment online and via text directly to the stylist. She asked if i had any inspo pics and I said I would look for one before the appointment. The night before my appointment, after not hearing from Chloe for a week, i got a threatening message basically telling me that because i have been unresponsive to multiple attempts to connect, if i didn't respond immediately my appointment would be given to someone else who has requested that time. I want to be very clear that I never missed a text from her and sent her screen shots and asked her what messages i missed, to which she back tracked and started saying that she was just nervous because people cancel a lot. The stylist and/or salon never communicated that inspiration pics were a requirements of booking the appointment. The stylist never followed up post confirming the appointment, not once. The stylist was really unprofessional in the way she engaged me, and end of day I told her to go ahead and give the appointment to someone else, I'll spend my money at a professional establishment. Really disappointing given i've been waiting for this appointment.

Christina is so sweet, I really like her BUT my second BB with her was a major major fail. I have been doing the BB treatment since 2010 CONSISTENTLY. I know what a good and bad blow out is. I know what products to use and what NOT to do (go swimming in pool/ocean etc). It's been 3 weeks (I contacted her not even two weeks later), and my BB is non-existent. NON-EXISTENT!! They have always lasted 3-4 months and blow-drying should take much less time and the texture should be SMOOTH. My hair is frizzy, not smooth at all and it took me 45 minutes this morning to blow-dry. I contacted Christina last week to tell her what I was experiencing and sadly - she was not willing to even consider that something went wrong. I KNOW BRAZILIAN BLOW-OUTS and how they should leave my hair. The first time I was in her Salon, I spent nearly $160.00 just on products...and I have been using only BB products since 2010. When I contacted Christina about my hair she went through a list of things to tell me that I may have done wrong (not use sulfate free shampoo, pool, beach etc). I explained and explained that none of that happened and that I had JUST had this done with her. First of all, she left the BB product in my hair at the salon for me to wash out 3-4 days after the appointment. I left for a trip a few days after my appointment (which she knew and is why I needed my hair done that weekend) and had just come back. They are supposed to wash your hair several several times before applying the product to open all the cuticles. The first time she washed my hair 3 times, but this last time - I don't remember her doing that....so I asked - could it be possible that my hair wasn't stripped enough to hold the product (THIS IS THE ONLY POSSIBILITY, NOTHING ELSE WOULD EXPLAIN WHAT HAPPENED). I would have been a loyal customer FOREVER, returning every few months. There is no way-no how that a new blowout should be this way, if she cared at all about customer satisfaction & her quality of work, she should have at least looked and felt my hair. But instead, she kindly evaded all responsibility. So sadly, I won't be returning. My sister was about to make an appointment for her 2nd BB but not anymore (she couldn't even tell that I had a blowout!). I certainly cannot and will not recommend this salon to my Yelp Friends & Followers. One last thing...this wasn't a big deal at the time but she was so rough with me when she was putting my apron on that she broke my necklace. At the time, I didn't want her to feel badly and it wasn't an expensive piece of jewelry but now I see that as just another contributing factor to her negligence.

She burned, fried!!, her long beautiful hair to a point of strands falling off!!! When asked about it, she was told it was normal and when asked for a refund, she was offered a deep conditioner..!! As if that would make anything better. To top it off, the OWNER Amparo threatened to call the police if she didn't leave the salon and stopped asking for refund. The community is called Verrazzano and literally walking distance from me. There is plenty of street parking and a private lot. This salon is the closest and most convenient due to the location. I was in dire need of a blowout for an event and Kassie came to the rescue! The salon is cozy, open, and inviting. There is a cute waiting area and products on display for sale. They have hair products I usually purchase online, but since this salon is so close, I can just get it here instead. It saves me on time and shipping too. Everything is clean and well-maintained. You can call to schedule an appt. and text reminders are sent to your personal phone, which is very helpful. Kassie was sweet from the start and very personable. She gave me the best head massage and wash. I could lay there forever! She used IGK products for my hair to help keep the curls intact and she added volume to my hair. They use the best products and give you a realistic expectation as to what can be done, I had issues with my color and after a few sessions Sabrina was able to recreate a natural color and get rid of all the bad chemicals I had added in the past, I feel like a new woman and recommend this place to everyone.
