Baatar provided so much valuable feedback along the way and some of his suggestions I am still so grateful for to this day, such as cabinet suggestions, flooring details, location for outlets and light fixtures, materials to use and not use, etc. etc.  We came to rely on his expertise and it served us well.  Baatar and his team focus on one project at a time and they do not subcontract, this was important to us.  I highly recommend B&B Quality Home Improvement!

I hired them to paint a very small bathroom and bedroom. Two of them showed up and the one who was painting the bathroom took 2 hours, 1 coat of paint and did not paint the trim. The one who was painting the bedroom, after 2 hours, he hadn't even completed one coat and when I inquired, he said, "We take our time." They never put a 2nd coat and never painted the baseboards in either room. When I originally requested the quote they tried to tell me it was an 8 hour job. That should give you an idea of what they were trying to do by "taking their time."

They do not respond to work requests and are rude over the phone--a total 180 from my experiences 5 years ago. I've used them twice, and have recommended them to friends and neighbors countless times. I submitted a work request on Thursday, June 16th via their web portal, and received no response. I called on Monday, June 27th, and was told they cannot give estimates or updates about via telephone and to send an email, so I did. I should also note that the woman I spoke to on the phone was wholly uninterested in customer service and seemed irritated that I had called her place of work at all. It's now Thursday, June 30th, and I still haven't received an update via the portal or email. Even allowing for holidays and weekends that's a 9-day period to even wait to schedule something. I could have had the work done and dusted at this point but am not even on a schedule because I was holding out for what I thought was a gem of a company instead. I get that lots of people are doing home improvement projects these days and the Great Resignation has left many businesses understaffed, but there are multiple ways of automating responses so that people know they are slammed if this is the case. Currently their website says "We will contact you within 48 hours to schedule your appointment." It's been two weeks without a peep. It's a shame because they used to be so great!

Every job he's done for us has gone beyond our expectations. He helped us tear down the panel walls and ceilings in a bedroom to get rid of a strong smell left by the previous owner, and then installed new drywall in both guest rooms. He worked efficiently, paid attention to details, and cleaned up everything thoroughly. We were so happy with the results that we asked him to install quarter round throughout the house, put in a bathroom door, and redo the floors in our powder room. He even helped with a few extra things just out of kindness. The backsplash he installed in our kitchen made such a difference. It completely brightened up the space and gave it a fresh, clean look. Giancarlo is not only skilled but also thoughtful and easy to work with. He listens, makes adjustments when needed. I'd highly recommend him to anyone looking for quality work and a trustworthy contractor.
