I was reaching out for someone with a complex case. They don't have an active ticket, but needed a…read moretraffic defense lawyer to help them and was willing to pay a retainer to get their legal advice on obtaining their license back after a multi state mixup. The person who answered was great, however the attorney who emailed back was extremely short. "Hi, the case appears closed. You need to contact the court directly." When asking which court to contact; considering this is two states and two courts, explaining they have contacted the courts directly, and the DMV all giving different information, there was no response back. I did email with questions twice after the initial response with no communication back. It would have come off better for the attorney to state point blank he could not help, didn't want to help etc. I even asked if this is something he didn't take care of (even though there is a whole tab for license suspension on the website) If he could refer me to someone who could help. No response. In looking for law advice many prefer someone to the point. I ended up calling another firm local to me, this attorney with 20+ years experience told me point blank "this is going to be an absolute headache and it's already a mess, not a case I would like to take due to the headaches to come, but this person needs legal help, that is my job, and what I am good at" 2000.00$ retainer later and within just a few weeks, the case is almost wrapped up and license will be reinstated. After reading all the prior reviews I was really hoping this firm could help. The lawyer seems experienced and has a huge social media presence, but communication is key. *****Editing to add after the owner response***** 1. This is not my case 2. As stated in the emails, Florida suspended his license years after a ticket in another state that has been satisfied. He's registered a vehicle in Florida, and cant renew the tags because of the suspension. 3. If I were communicated with in regards to only being licensed in Florida, I still would have questioned that response because the state that has issued the suspension is Florida. 4. The only response I received to my entire inquiry and request for help is attached. 5. The attorney that took his case is only registered in Florida.

Upon meeting, they sent us all straight to physical therapy days after the accident. I spend weeks upon weeks attending. After 3 months, i still did not know how much I would get. I was the driver and I had 2 others in the car that fled the scene of the accident. After finding out they would get compensation after my car was totaled, they resurfaced. Long story short. I walked away with the basic coverage divided by 3. My car was totaled and what I was repayed was short of what I needed to buy a comperable car. At the end, I was in the dark months into the process when I felt they should have known from day 1. I would not have wasted all this time and taken time off work just to get less (after my expenses) than the others. it was a friend of a friend. you know how that goes. I was kept in the dark for months, there were multiple people reaching out to me where it was never consistent. Rarely when i called would I get the same person. Everyone spoke professionally but didn't know s**t. First accident and one thing I learned was to get uninsured motorist in Florida.

Brian Breiter was my legal counsel and he did an excellent job. He explained EVERYTHING to me, he…read morehelped me with patience and he got me a settlement that I am happy with. I have never retained counsel before and was never involved in any type of litigation. When I first talked to him I was unable to walk and had just had surgery. Three holes were drilled in my kneecap so that my quad tendon could be sewed back on. Ah, such a fond memory of mine. Imagine trying to straighten your leg and it wont move... only to have your quad bunch up like a pomelo on your hip. Brian wisely suggested from the onset keep a journal of my experiences resulting from the injury. He stressed that this is not an overnight event; a marathon not a sprint if you will excuse the cliché. The case was complex with multiple defendants all of whom had different takes on my situation as to who was at fault. He was able to navigate through the different defendants like Han Solo flying the Millennium Falcon through an asteroid field! Anyhow, I can get nervous in stressful situations and Brian helped me keep my cool. He gave me good tips as to how to present myself in deposition and reiterated something that should be obvious "just tell the truth." It is clear that his chief concern is the well-being and the satisfaction of his clients. A former colleague of mine from UC Berkeley referred me to Mr. Breiter and I could tell by the lack of reservations about the recommendation that I would be in good hands. Brian's style of communication mixes professionalism with a human side that makes one feel that he knows what he is doing and will get what he requests. This made him easy to work and also imbued within me a sense of much needed confidence that helped my case. There were times during this experience where I felt that our adversaries were well aware that they were going up against a strong force. If he was Han Solo, I guess that made me Chewy. The defense made the right choice and let the Wookie win. In all seriousness, Brian Breiter fought hard for me; for this I owe him my gratitude, my respect and a healthy portion of my settlement.

Life-Changing Representation After My Motorcycle Accident…read more I can't say enough good things about attorneys David Chonin and Brian Breiter. I was riding my motorcycle on Alton Road in Miami Beach on my way to work when a Bobcat tractor suddenly turned into me, leaving me with a broken leg and a long road to recovery. From that first moment, I knew I was in the hands of people who genuinely cared. Throughout the entire legal process, David was always available to answer my questions, no matter how small or complex. He kept me informed, reassured, and focused when things felt overwhelming. I chose the Law Offices of Brian Breiter because they are experienced trial lawyers that are not afraid to try cases. The insurance companies know this. Brian and David worked tirelessly on my case, preparing the case for trial. On the eve of trial, they secured a settlement far beyond what I ever expected.
