Last year was the worst year ever. I had a problem with my immigration status, i had been detained,…read moreand was ordered for possible deportation for a misdemeanor i had way back 2010. We hired Attorney Hernandez thru a good friends referral and were so thankful she was there thru it all. She always respond to our emails and she is so easy to talk you. Attorney Hernandez and her team did an awesome job managing my whole case, and were very attentive to the details. It was a long and hard process, but we made it through in the end.I wouldn't be where I am now heading towards getting my citizenship, all thanks to attorney Hernandez and her team! Thank you so very much!

I worked with Patricia and her partner about 5 years ago and they were excellent. They helped me…read moregetting my green card and my divorce papers. They delivered excellent results. I loved their personalized approach to the business and recommended their services to many friends and gave them a 5 star review. But I just had a really bad personal experience with Patricia and that's the reason I'm revising my rating to a 1-star. Here is what happened: I called Patricia to get my citizenship filed. I asked her if it would be necessary for me to have a lawyer to help me through the process and she said that due to my particular situation she would highly recommend it. Last year she had quoted me $1500. Now she was quoting me $1750 because I had moved to Broward County, which is 30 minutes away. She explained the hike up was due to more travelling time. Ok fine. I asked her if she could split the payment into two installments, one with the retainer at the beginning of the process and the last one when I receive my citizenship. She explained that she couldn't do that but was willing to receive her 2nd payment when (and this is what I understood) my application got accepted. That was still uncomfortable for me since the real valuable time I needed her to be there with me was during the interview process to assure everything was going smoothly. I signed the retainer and, since i had done business with her in the past, didn't pay attention that it stated that the 2nd portion was due at the moment of filing. Which is not what my understanding of our conversation was. I payed them $875 for the first installment and sent them all the requested filled forms, retainer and paperwork on 9/2/20. It took them 12 days to get back to me with the filled USCIS Form N-400 and asking me for the remaining $875 plus, get this, an additional $250 for "administrative fee" not previously agreed upon. I called Patricia to clarify this and she stated that that's the way it was and that I had signed the contract. I expressed how that was not my understanding (plus there was not mention of any extra "administrative fees" in the retainer except for correction of errors which I had none). I thought we were going to be able to work it out because of my past experience and relationship with them but she held her ground and could care less I had a different understanding and showed no intention in finding a common ground. At this point I was feeling ripped off, my satisfaction as a client was off the table and all she cared was to receive all her payment in advance, before doing any work, except for filling the USCIS Form N-400 which would take any paralegal an hr tops. I asked her for a refund, I was willing to pay for the paralegal time since she didn't spend any of her own time on this at all. She refused and hid behind our "contract". Fine, keep my $875 for filling up a useless form, but here is my review. She claimed that now that i had the form filled I was ripping them off because I could file it myself. Even if that would be the case $875 for a hr of paralegal work is a ripoff! I ended up filing online at the USCIS website in under 30 minutes without even using that form they sent me, which then I'd have to mail it in. The reason I liked their work in the past was because of their fair and personalized treatment of their clients. That was my experience 5 years ago. Now, I cannot recommend them at all and I'm writing this review because of their incapacity to try to find a middle ground and care for their customers.
