Sometimes it may only take a phone call from Mr. Dobkin, and that's what he did. He called my serve advisor and left a message in a non-intimidating tone; I believe it helped me receive a more detailed invoice about my 2022 vehicle repair. The Hyundai dealer had my vehicle for over a month; this was the second time for the same issue. In the past, I've reached out to other attorneys in unrelated matters where I thought a simple call would resolve the situation, but I was given instructions on what to do and unfortunately my efforts were not effective. Therefore, Mr. Dobkin's quick decision to call the service advisor was appreciated very much but was certainly unexpected. I felt like he sincerely cared about my situation. Mr. Dobkin's staff also made me feel like they cared. Although short, the conversations never felt rushed. I believe Mr. Dobkin sincerely cares about people and believe he will be rewarded for his efforts.

Zero Stars. I had a horrific experience with Amador & Cuellar, PLLC…read more I hired Abbie Cuellar for a court hearing. She canceled and rescheduled three times for said hearing. On the fourth rescheduling of the hearing she canceled on me and recused herself. She claimed that the financial documentation that I was giving her as evidence of my finances was not good enough. I ended up representing myself and winning the case on my own. Of course, Ms. Cuellar never refunded the $1500.00 retainer fee that she charged me. Also, pertinent financial documentation that I had given Ms. Cuellar was never returned. Instead her office mailed it out to an old address of mine in another county. So she stole my money and lost financial records of mine that included bank statements along with my social security number and copies of my drivers license. DO NOT HIRE THIS FIRM. If you are considering hiring this firm, I strongly recommend paying close attention to how billing…read moreand communication will be handled. I ultimately spent over $9,000 for very limited progress on my case. My initial conversation with Oscar was positive and professional, which gave me confidence in hiring the firm. However, after retaining them, communication quickly became confusing as multiple people were emailing me about the case, making it difficult to understand who was actually responsible. From the beginning I repeatedly explained that I could not afford extensive litigation and wanted the scope of work to remain limited. Despite this, the billing escalated quickly and included charges from several staff members for tasks like reviewing documents, organizing files, and internal communications. In the end, the primary work completed was filing a notice of appearance, a motion for extension of time, and an answer with affirmative defenses. After those defenses were filed, the plaintiff submitted a motion to strike them. I was never notified by the firm about this filing and only discovered it myself after checking the federal court docket. By that time the response deadline was already approaching. Because the legal costs had already become too high, I had no choice but to ask the firm to withdraw and continue the case on my own. After spending more than $9,000, I ultimately found myself defending the case pro se anyway. In hindsight, I wish I had remained pro se from the start and avoided the significant financial burden.
