So they kept my $8,750 claiming they "did work for me" over the 24 hour period that was "moved up" instead of the 5 week wait. I have nothing. They did no work but insist on keeping all my money. I offered to pay for time spent , they refused. They kept my entire payment. My advice would be to not be as trusting and in hindsight "stupid" for paying up front an entire bill. My problem is I trust people, and this is an expensive lesson that I shouldn't have trusted the Siegel Law Group.

My wife, Mr. Valentino's assistant and I were all on camera, but Mr. Valentino kept his camera off for the entire call. The fee was not disclosed upfront. We went through the entire intake process and gave all of our personal and financial details before any fee was mentioned. The cost came up only at the end of the call. Telling us up front would have saved time for both us and the firm. During the call, Mr. Valentino repeatedly called my wife's employer "cheap" because its benefits didn't cover our trust. He then spent a large part of the call pitching the trust package. When we said we needed time to discuss the fee because we hadn't expected it, his tone became aggressive and dismissive. We explained that this was a big decision for us and even offered to come back later that day to submit payment, but we needed to discuss the fee first to make sure we could afford it. As a typical "closer" would do, he gave us a long explanation of why that wouldn't be possible and said he needed payment that day. It felt like high-pressure sales tactics, pushing us to commit to an expensive service on the spot. He ended by telling us to skip his firm the next time we need legal services, which is the only advice we'll be taking from Mr. Valentino. Choosing an estate planning attorney is a personal decision built on trust. We expected a clear explanation of costs and respectful treatment whether or not we hired the firm.
