Barry did a great job with assessing my family's legal needs and explained everything very clearly. I was unfamiliar with this process and was put at ease by how knowledgeable and thorough he was. He set up a living trust and took into careful account all relevant family dynamics. The Medicaid specialists Paul and Toby helped me effectively secure Medicaid for my father the first time applying. Toby walked me through every step and truly made what could have been a stressful process into a smooth one. Would not have been able to do it without them! This group went above and beyond - would not want to use any other attorney for such important planning.

I said I will need it sooner than that. I then received a Court decision the next day that made the need for the Trust mute. They then said they moved up the meeting date, which wasn't needed then. So they kept my $8,750 claiming they "did work for me" over the 24 hour period that was "moved up" instead of the 5 week wait. I have nothing. They did no work but insist on keeping all my money. I offered to pay for time spent , they refused. They kept my entire payment. My advice would be to not be as trusting and in hindsight "stupid" for paying up front an entire bill. My problem is I trust people, and this is an expensive lesson that I shouldn't have trusted the Siegel Law Group.

Meredith Weil was easy to work with and made me feel like all my questions were valid. I don't know…read moreanything about estate law (who does?) and I was able to ask her anything unknown, even those of a sensitive nature. She laid out the different options for us so we could choose what suited our family best. It is complicated, and laws vary by state, yet a necessary part of planning for the future, especially in these uncertain times. She gently pushed me to finish the lengthy process and had a lot of good suggestions. Working with banks differs from bank to bank and she essentially held my hand as the bank staff did not fully grasp the complexities and variations. She was patient, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I highly recommend her.

She was sensitive to the unique nuances of our situation, including how assets may have different values each of us. She was very helpful as my husband was not yet a citizen of the United States and our assets may be transferred to someone in another (Latin American) country. I hired Frank Vasallo after hearing him recommended on a local radio station to review my existing…read moretrust and testament. After reviewing my documents, he advised that they were incorrect and that I needed a new trust and testament. I relied on his recommendation and paid approximately $8,000 in full for the new documents. After receiving the updated documents, I submitted them to my insurance provider, who informed me that the documentation was incorrect and would create issues with the trust. They asked to speak with Mr. Vasallo directly to help resolve what appeared to be a mistake. According to my insurance provider, he refused to speak with them unless they paid his $600 hourly rate. I personally went to his office on SW 8th Street believing this could be a simple misunderstanding that could be corrected. Instead, I was met outside in the parking lot and felt dismissed and embarrassed. Rather than explaining the issue or offering a solution, I was told not to return unless I was prepared to pay $600 for an hour of his time. My concern is not only that I paid $8,000 for documents that were determined to be incorrect, but that there was no willingness to explain the issue, correct the problem, or assist in resolving it without additional payment. I found the level of professionalism and client service extremely disappointing. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this attorney. I encourage anyone considering hiring him to carefully understand what support is provided after documents are completed and what additional fees may apply.
