I cannot overstate how amazing Lizama Painting was for our home painting project! They painted the entire interior common space in our house and got the entire job done in record time. The entire team was very friendly, professional, and considerate throughout their time here and the final results are gorgeous! Great attention to detail for all of the smaller and more intricate areas like baseboards and door frames. Thank you, Emigdio and team! If you are in the area and have a painting project, consider the 20+ 5 star reviews a sign that you should hire Lizama Painting. read more

Our home needed interior painting and since most painters we called was booked for months on, I finally found Lizama Painting and called to ask about price. We schedule a walk through, he was a few minutes late. When he did the walk through and jotted down measurements he didn't explain the pricing in details. Let's just say the price was way over our budget for 2 living room and a kitchen. We decided to only do walls for 1 living room and kitchen...still not a great price. The next day we waited for his painters to come, a few minutes late ... 8 hours later ... we inspected the job, dissatisfied. Drips on wall and messy clean up. And he has the nerve to try to raise the price. Good thing I had him sign a written paper of agreement prior to this. Oh, I also found trash in my recycling bins. Had to dig into my recycling bins to separate trash and recycling... So, to sum it up don't just hire anyone just because others are booked months in advance. Now I know why this business wasn't booked like others. I wouldn't even give it any star but this won't rate unless I press 1 star. read more

We had the same EXCELLENT experience as many others have reported. We got bids for exterior painting from three companies all rated 5 stars on yelp. One company bid by phone only, one sent someone to bid who does not actually do the work. Emigdio, a professional painter, came to estimate himself and pointed out several areas that needed special attention, including some dry rot no one else noticed. He and his crew were polite, on time, very neat and did great work. I would recommend them to anyone. read more

Lizama Painting - Painters Near Me

Hired Mr. Lizama and his crew to paint our home's exterior in September of 2020 (yes, I'm late writing this review!). Thankfully, exterior painting was something that could still be done during a pandemic. Mr. Lizama and crew were friendly, reliable (showed up when promised), were able to find and fix a bunch of dry rot, were willing to take down and paint my deck railings, and Mr. Lizama even replaced a set of exterior stairs which was a great relief for us. A year later and the paint still looks good and the stairs work like they should. I would recommend Lizama Painting for your exterior painting needs. read more

Lizama Painting is OUTSTANDING. All I want to say is thank you for my new house! After receiving a few estimates for a complete interior paint job on my recently purchased 3K+ two story house I found Lizama's quote very reasonable for the scope of work proposed. After scheduling, Emigdio was extremely attentive to detail. So much so that he took time to complete a second walk through with me to ensure that he was 100% clear on exactly what I wanted. He even made professional recommendations that were actually better than what I had envisioned or had in mind. The Lizama crew started and finished the job on time and schedule. His crew went above and beyond to make sure that my house shined to it's full potential. All the while Emigdio and his crew were friendly and professional. The finished product.....A BRAND NEW HOUSE! If you're looking for a paint crew that knows what they're doing and can get it done right DO NOT HESITATE to use Lizama Painting! Thank you Emigdio and crew! read more

Emigdio and his crew, Danny and Brandon are AMAZING!! Emigdio came out and thoroughly inspected the exterior of my house and provided me with a very reasonable quote before leaving. He also gave me paint samples to choose from (not an overwhelming amount that left me second guessing, but a nice selection of beautiful home colors). We were very uncertain of what color to choose since our house was so pink to begin with and wanted to eradicate the pink, which would be a challenge with our Spanish style roof. We went with Emigdio's recommendations and are so happy we did! He was able to come earlier than anticipated, showed up on time and got right to work on prepping our home. He and his guys pressure washed our entire home and even offered to clean our moldy roof for an additional fee which was reasonable and totally worth the extra cost! They patched cracks and smoothed out areas where the wood was rough, removed lights, and covered windows. It took 2 more days to paint our 2,000 sq ft single story home. The paint job is extremely thorough- Emigdio uses an incredibly thick paint that he sprays on the house, backrolls, then sprays again to ensure that every bump and divet in the stucco has a nice, even double coat. He showed me the dried paint, which is quite elastic to help keep new cracks from being visible and protected against the weather. I'm fairly confident if my house were to fall down, the paint will still be standing! Emigdio and the guys finished all the details of our home by hand to ensure perfection and the result of their hard work is noticeable when he insists on a thorough customer walk through before accepting payment. He also left with insisting that we call should we be unhappy with any part of the paint job moving forward, guaranteeing to come back and fix it. We were so happy with his work on the house, we also had him fix our laundry room wall, which had been damaged from a leak earlier this year. His work was perfect, you would never had known the wall was damaged! He replaced drywall, textured and painted. The job was done quickly and turned out beautiful! We plan to ask him back to add window features (ledge/shutters) to the very boring side of our exposed corner home, which he recommended at a very reasonable price! His crew always kept their work area neat and tidy on the side of our house during the job, cleaned up all the trash (Emigdio even showed up with a trailer to haul away all of their empty paint buckets, etc.), ensured that every light was returned and working, and used a leaf blower to clean the property, so we were left with a home that was far superior than the one he started with! THANK YOU Lizama Painting! We recommend you to all our friends and family who are just as impressed with our "new" home as we are! read more

I'm a house painter's nightmare - the paint must look near-perfect and my punch list at the end will be picky. Lizama Painting did an outstanding job and their work is superior to what I imagined could be done. Mr. Lizama and his team take great pride in their craft and the end result shows this. (I received his name as a personal referral from the mgr. of an international paint company so I was off to a good start...and it just got better.) * There are clean, cut-in/straight lines with no bleeding between dark and light colors on the stucco and trim - a huge pet peeve of mine. Excellent detail work around white window frames and door frames. * Great prep work on stucco and wood. Mr. Lizama stated there was actually less dry rot repair needed than we thought. The repairs look seamless. * Lizama uses high-quality paint products (not high priced.) You can see the difference compared to the other newly painted homes in my subdivision. (I'm now a huge fan of this particular paint company.) * Mr. Lizama is a true craftsman - he offered good color/design ideas when I asked for his opinion/advice. * I wanted a paint company that was in demand. At the time of giving me an estimate in August he was booked 6-weeks out. That was a huge selling point for me. Lizama's crew was professional, polite, and super nice to my dog, Cooper. I look forward to seeing them again this winter when they do the interior. read more

The Lizama painting crew did an excellent job on the exterior of our home. We chose them due to three recommendations and a very competitive bid, so were expecting them to be good, but were still pleasantly surprised and impressed with the thorough job they did, starting with power washing, preparation and nicely completed repairs on our home. After they finished, we could not have been more pleased as we noticed the clean edges between walls and deck/walkways, trim and body, as well as little nooks and crannies they painted that we never even noticed needed paint. The finish and coverage on both the body and trim of our house looks great and the pride they put into their work shows! Mr. Lizama and crew were always on time, and as a nice bonus were just really pleasant guys with an outstanding work ethic. Highly recommend! read more

Mr. Lizama and his team did an excellent job painting the exterior of our Spanish Colonial style home. He provided a reasonable written estimate based on his personal inspection of the exterior of the house. He advised us on color for the trim. His team painted the iron grill work on our windows as well as other fixtures, refinished an exterior door, painted the trim, and the house and garage. He has his team showed up on time, were careful in their work, responded to our directions, and kept were careful to clean up each day and store their equipment out of harms way. We were very satisfied with his work and his professionalism and would recommend him. read more

My husband and I were at Sherwin-Williams to buy paint for our home in Sacramento, expecting to do the majority by ourselves. Emigdio was fortuitously also at the store buying paint for another client's home and was incredibly friendly. We broached the subject of him taking a look at our house for an estimate, especially knowing there was no way we could paint the staircase on our own. But we were reluctant to hire a painter expecting the cost to be too high. Emigdio took a look around our house and gave a very reasonable offer. He also gave us a lot of advice on painting, in case we still decided to take on the job ourselves. We decided to go ahead with his services and he started early the next morning, buying the paint for us and also offering recommendations on the best finishes based on the type of room and colors we'd chosen. He finished the whole home in 1.5 days! He is normally very busy but we were lucky because his scheduled job that week was delayed by the other homeowner. We are so pleased with the finished project and happy to have run into him that day. Emigdio is straightforward, hard-working, and extremely professional. I would wholeheartedly recommend his services if you're in search of or even contemplating a house painter. He does interiors as well as exteriors. read more

We also had an EXCELLENT experience with Emiglio and his team. He came promptly to give a bid. His price was competitive. I had walked through the property the first time with him but he agreed to return and walk through with my husband, answering additional questions. He provided color samples, used the paint we requested, and started the job on the date scheduled. Between 3-6 members of the team worked steadily for 9-10 days, including Saturday, to complete the job. Everyone was competent and professional. Emiglio was there most of the time. At the final walk-through we couldn't find anything the team had missed. We would certainly hire Lizama Painting again. read more

Mr. Lizama, is easily the best painter I have ever hired. He painted the exterior of my home and the garage. He carefully looked over the job and provided an estimate for the work that included power washing, repairing facia board, and an under coat where needed. He gave me a color sheet to choose from and advised me if I wanted a color outside the sheet he could have it mixed for me. Once I picked the color he dropped off a small can to paint a sample with, so I could be sure it was what I wanted. I picked a dark color and he let me know it was high quality paint but dark colors would wear faster and be warmer than a lighter on. They spent a week preparing and painting my home. It included far more repair work than we anticipated, but at each step he gave me alternatives. The exterior is now in the best shape it has been in years The crew was considerate, neat, and quiet. They cleaned up each day. I feel fortunate to have found them, and recommend them without hesitation. Icing on the cake, their price was better than the other estimates. read more

Super happy with Lizama Painting. He was very professional, personable and helpful with my choices and walking me through everything. We have a two story wood-siding house. My coworker recommended Lizama Painting. They had painted his house exterior 15 years ago and it has stood the test of time. His neighbor just had Lizama paint their home, excellent work. We live in Granite Bay...Lizama painted our home exterior and their work is excellent. They also painted our patio cover, repaired dry rot and power washed our roof. They are trust worthy, we unlocked our home so they could paint trim around doors and the garage door, while we were at work. The quote was reasonable. We got other bids, the dry rot repair was considerably less by Lizama. I will use them when we do our interior. read more

Emigdio is the best!!! We live in East Sacramento and he's done a lot of work over here (regardless of his company address being listed in Galt). He was referred to me by another client of his, and I've continued to refer him to anyone looking for a painter. He's very reasonably priced, friendly, and trustworthy! He also was really helpful in matching the existing paint color on our walls when we bought our home. Highly recommend!!! read more

I ended up going with Lizama Painting and am very happy I did. House looks great. Decent price. Nice crew to work with. Listened to what I had to say. Would use again. read more

WOW! We were so impressed with Emigdio and his crew and the entire experience. When he first came out to give us an estimate (which was a very fair price), he was very thorough in determining what needed to be done and explaining the process to us. He provided us several paint samples and gave us tips on what colors would compliment each other. When it was time to do the work, he and his crew were friendly, on time, and took pride in their work. Emigdio pays close attention to detail and the quality of his work is impeccable. When the work was done, they replaced our exterior lights, cleaned up the landscaping and even blew down our walkways! Our house looks fantastic and we couldn't be happier! Emigdio and his crew were prompt, neat and fast. He was so helpful, from helping us choose paint colors we absolutely love, eliminating wires that were unsightly before to repairing all of the damaged boards on our home. He even painted our shed without us asking. He and his crew were also very meticulous, they were so thorough with all of the touch ups afterwards too. We would call him again anytime we have painting to be done. read more
